Chapter Nineteen, Miyako's birthday

~Miyako's P.O.V~

"oh boomer thank you", i said as i looked down at the gift boomer had given me. "i thought you would really like it", boomer said as he smiled. boomer had given me a charm bracelet that had charms that looked like clothes and a heart with a picture of us in it. "its beautiful boomie", i said as i smiled. boomer and i were sitting on his bed in his room. boomer reached over and held my hand. i leaned forward and hugged boomer tightly. boomer hugged me back. "happy birthday miyako", boomer said softly. i quickly leaned up and kissed boomer on the lips. he kissed me back and our lips moved in sync. our kiss was passionate and full of love. boomer really was the love of my life. how could i ever leave boomer for two years? boomer softly laid both of us down so now he was on top of me kissing me. my heart started to race as our kiss got more intense. but my mind kept racing as i thought about my parent's offer and how much it could change our lives. i cant stay quiet any more i need to tell boomer. "mmhhmm boomie", i murmured against boomer's lips. boomer slowly pulled away and looked at me confused. "we need to talk", i said softly. "sure", boomer said as he pushed himself off me. boomer and i sat up. i reached over and held boomer's hand. "boomer my parents came back last night", i said. "what? i thought they were in milan", boomer said. "they were but they came back because they want me to go to milan for two years so i can start my own line of clothes", i said. boomer had a look of sadness on his face. "boomie i think i want to go", i said. boomer let go of my hand and ran his fingers threw his hair. "yours going to be gone for two years?", boomer asked as he stood up. "no boomie i told them about you and your interest in fashion and they want you to go to", i said. "so you want me to go?", boomer asked. "were a team. we do every thing together and i'm only going to go if you go with me", i said. boomer looked down at his feet. i could tell by the look on his face he was thinking. "boomie its our dream", i said softly. "i know but what about our friends? my brothers?", boomer asked. "i know it will be hard but we can come back here after our two years are up or we can take vacations here during the two years", i said as i stood up. boomer turned back to me and grabbed my hands and pulled me closer to him. "miyako i love you and if you really want to go then i want to go to. your right were a team and we will help each other with each others dreams. even though in this case we both have the same dream", boomer said as he smiled. "and we have until September to change our minds. so we still have awhile before we would leave", i said softly. "well what does your grandma think about this?", boomer asked. "well all she told me was 'miyako, follow your heart and your dreams and i know you will do the right thing'.", i said. "so do you think your doing the right thing?", boomer asked. "i'm doing the right thing as long as i have you by my side", i said as i smiled. boomer smiled to. "i will always be by your side", boomer said softly. i blushed as i stood on my tippy toes and gave boomer a quick kiss on the lips. "come on we should get to your next surprise", boomer said as he smiled. "let me guess. its a party on the roof?", i asked as i smiled. "i don't know what your talking about", boomer said as he smirked. "ahw come on boomie its not hard to guess since this was also a surprise for momoko and kaoru", i said as i smiled. "i guess your right", boomer said as we both started to walk out of his room and into the hallway. "besides a blindfold would mess up my hair", i joked. "well we wouldn't want to do that", boomer said as he smiled. we both walked down the hall then to the elevator. we rode the elevator up to the top floor which was where the apartment rooms where. these where the rooms the professor offered us to stay in once we were out of high school. boomer and i walked down the hall until we reached a metal door that said "roof". boomer opened it form me so i walked threw the door and up the stairs until i reached the last door. i pushed it open and boomer and i walked out onto the roof. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIYAKO!", all of my friends yelled. i smiled as i looked around. every thing was the same as it was for momoko and kaoru's party except this time every thing was blue. the lights truly were beautiful in the night sky. "thanks guys", i said as i looked back at all my friends who were smiling. "here ya go", kaoru said as she walked over to me and handed me a cup. "you know i'm sort of starting to feel like an alcoholic drinking this much", i joked. "well we have one more birthday this month so get used to it", kaoru said as she smiled. "ill try", i said as i smiled then took a sip from the cup. "so how does it feel to finally be 18?", momoko asked. "i feel like life just slapped me in the face", i said. "why?", momoko asked. i looked up at boomer and said,"should we tell them?". boomer nodded his head yes. "when i went home yesterday my parents were there", i said. "your parents? i thought they died?", kaoru said. "what? no?", i said. "you never talked about them so i figured they died and that was why you lived with your grandma", kaoru said. "no there fashion designers in milan", i said. "there into fashion to?", momoko asked. "yes its there whole life. that's why they left me here with my grandma so they could go and start a fashion business in milan", i said. "so this is the first time they have came to visit you in how long?", momoko asked. "almost six years. we haven't even talked on the phone at all over the years", i said. "so why did they come back then? if i was you i would be pretty steamed in my parents left me like that", kaoru said. "i don't really mind because i like living with my grandma", i said. "so why did they come back?", kaoru asked. "this September they want me to go to milan and start my own clothing line", i said. "that's great!", momoko said as she smiled. "yeah then as soon as you come back we can celebrate!", kaoru said. "guys... i'm going to be gone for two years", i said softly. "what?", momoko said as she looked shocked. "so are you going?", kaoru asked. "yes, i think so", i said as i nodded my head. "what about boomer?", brick asked. "my parents want him to come to", i said. "two whole years that's crazy", kaoru said. "we can still come and visit", i said. "miyako, just follow your dreams and do what makes you happy", momoko said as she smiled softly at me. "yeah miyako its always been your dream to be a fashion designer so you should go", kaoru said. "i really want that dream to come true but i'm really going to miss you guys", i said. "don't worry about us. we will visit each other as much as we can", kaoru said. "just remember that dreams do come true and one day yours will to", i said as i smiled. "so what is your dream?", butch asked kaoru. "my dream is to be a famous sports player", kaoru said. "mine to", butch said as he smirked. "oh great looks like i'm going to be stuck with you for a long time", kaoru said as she playfully pushed butch. "so whats your dream momoko?", butch asked. "i had two dreams growing up. but its kinda dumb", momoko said. "cant be as bad as boomer wanting to be a fashion designer. that's totally a girls job", butch joked. "well my dream was to be a super hero and that already happened", i said. "so what was your other dream?", boomer asked. "to be a beautiful bride", momoko said as she blushed and looked at her feet. "and you will be one day", brick said softly as he put his arm around momoko's waist and leaned down a kissed the side of her head. "so whats your dream brick?", i asked. "well i'v always like the idea of being a rock star or an actor. and i'v always wanted to be a video game champion and to have a beautiful bride", brick said as he winked at momoko making her blush even more. "alright why don't we do some thing else before the love birds start making out", butch joked as he pointed to momoko and brick. kaoru chuckled at butch's joke. "well i'm sorry i show my girlfriend affection", brick said. "you can show her affection in other ways brick", kaoru said as she crossed her arms. "yeah but kissing is my favorite way that we show each other affection", momoko said as she blushed. "leave them alone kaoru. all that matters is that there happy together", i said as i smiled at momoko and brick. "thank you miyako", momoko said as she smiled. "alright lets play some beer pong", butch said as he clapped his hands together. i smiled as i rolled my eyes. "come on birthday girl you and boomer are up first", kaoru said. "alright get ready to lose", boomer said as he smirked. "oh no your the one who is going to lose", butch said as he smirked to. "alright guys lets play", i said as i smiled.
