Chapter Thirty-One, Talking to the creator of the punks

~Momoko's P.O.V~

"this is the place right?", buttercup asked. "yeah i think so", i said as i looked up at the house in front of us. we are standing in front of james plutonium's house. we are transformed so plutonium don't find out our real identities. "well lets go up and knock then", bubbles said. "ill do it", brick said as he walked ahead of me and up the steps. i quickly followed him and the others followed me. brick raised his hand and knocked on the door. after about a minute a man opened the door. he looked like he was about professors age. he had black hair that was starting to grey. he wore an eye patch over one eye and had a scar on his face. he also wore a lab coat similar to the professor's lab coat. "yes?", the man asked as he looked at the six of us. "hello sir. your james plutonium right?", brick asked. "yes and your those powerpuff girls z right?", james asked as he looked at me. "uh yes and the rowdy ruff boys z", i said as i motioned to the guys. "look i don't know what your doing here and I'm very busy so i can't talk right now", james said as he started to close the door. brick quickly stepped forward and put his foot between the door and the door frame so james couldn't close the door. "hey!", james said angrily. "we need to talk about your daughters!", i said. james quickly threw open the door and looked at us with a shocked look. "are they okay!?", james asked in a slight panic. "there fine", i said. "jesus! you scared me! i thought they were hurt or even worse... dead..", james said. "no believe me they are just fine running around causing trouble!", buttercup said. "why are you here?", james asked. "we just want to talk about your daughters", butch said. james looked suspiciously at butch. "you see there in our town and they keep causing trouble and we just want them to leave", bubbles said. "come in and we can talk", james said. james stepped out of the way so we could walk in. as i walked in i could hear boomer whisper,"is this a good idea?". james' house looked like a normal house. you couldn't really tell that a scientist lived here. on the walls were pictures of the punks when they were younger. It was weird seeing them look so happy. "please come sit", james said as he led us into the living room. james sat down in a chair across from the couch. between the couch and the chair was a coffee table with more pictures of the young punks. luckily james had a huge couch so all six of us could sit on the same couch even though we were squished together a little bit. "you see my girls are not normal as you may already know.. 18 years ago i managed to create three little babies in my lab. they were my daughters and i loved them very much. as they started to get older i realized they were different from normal kids. i knew the only way to bring them to life would be to use chemical x so i already knew they would be allot different from the other children but when they started getting older they were really bad. they were as you might say evil. but i didnt care i still loved them the same. i just told myself kids will be kids? thats how kids act right? well when they started to get to hard to handle i thought maybe i added the wrong ingredient to there mixture but every thing was normal. so i contacted the man i got the chemical x from and i asked him a few questions and he said that they could of mixed up the chemical x with dark chemical x", james said. "so wait you didn't plan on making them evil?", i asked. "no i wanted nornal children. in the past i was a bit of a rebel and i wasn't as good as i should of been so i decided i wanted kids and to raise them the best that i could. when i found out they were made with dark chemical x i wasn't upset. i knew i could handle them", james said. "so why did you let them go to new townsville?", brick asked. "there is new townsville?", james asked. "yes", buttercup said. "last year we got into a huge fight and they just ran away... i haven't seen them since", james said. "really?", butch asked. james nodded his head. "why are my girls in new townsville?", james asked. "you see we are the rowdy ruff boys z and we were also created in a lab by a monkey named mojo jojo. mojo created us to defeat the powerpuff girls z. but we gave up evil. and one day we fell in love with the puffs. so mojo got made and hired the power punk girls.. your daughters to come defeat us. but the only problem is that they kind of fell in love with us and only want to kill the puffs", brick said. " wait how were you created by a monkey?", james asked. "professor utonium accidently created chemical z and in an attempt to stabilize the weather his son shot the chemical z out of a gun hitting an iceberg. it helped the weather but it released black z rays that infected a few people and animals. it turned a normal zoo monkey into mojo jojo an evil monkey with more knowledge than a normal monkey", brick said. "of course its utonium", james said as he rolled his eye. none of us said any thing. " i knew utonium was responsible for creating the powerpuff girls z but i had no idea he created a evil monkey that was capable of creating boys! i thought i had one upped utonium by actually creating girls but apparently i was wrong", james said as he frowned. "look i know you guys were competitors in school and college but you guys are older now. both of you have accomplishments so why are you still mad at him?", boomer asked. "i guess i just cant get out of the past", james said as he sighed. "look we want to help you get your girls back we just want them to leave our town", bubbles said. "i would love for them to come come!", james said as he smiled. "we came to ask you how to stop them. If we defeat them they will leave the city and come home to you", i said. "please don't hurt them but do what you must to make them come back to me", james said. "so tell us there weakness", buttercup said. "well they don't have much weaknesses", james said. "name at least one", butch said. "love", james said after he thought for a minute. "love?", bubbles asked. "yeah. when they are in 'love' with some one they stop at nothing for that person", james said as he made air quotes when he said the word love. "so has this happened before?", boomer asked. "yes.. a few times. once in grade school and again in middle school", james said. "we are the ones it happened to in high school then", brick said. "so eventually they will just forget about us and fall for some one else?", butch asked. "you see there is some thing different with dark chemical x. it makes them think they are evil and no one will love them because there evil. so they try so hard to get some one to love them back. and since they are in there last year of high school now they must be desperate for it since allot of people marry there high school sweethearts", james said. "well that makes sense", i said. "i've tried so hard to get them back over the past year but they don't care about me any more", james said as he frowned. "how do you know that they don't care?", bubbles asked. "well as you can see by the scar on my face they were not above harming there own creator. before they ran away they trashed my house! they broke every thing! they even spray painted 'I Hate you' all over my walls!", james said. well damn there goes our plan of kidnapping him to make the punks take him and leave. "well if the punks don't care about him then it wont help our situation if we take james to trade him to the punks to leave us alone. brick, kaoru, butch, miyako, boomer", i said in my head so they could all hear me. i looked down at my friends and they nodded there head in agreement. "we will do what we can to get your girls back", i said as i stood up. every one else stood up as well. "thank you", james said. "we should probably go.. its a long way back to new townsville", i said. "thank you for telling me about my girls.. I'm just glad to know that they're still alive", james said as we all walked to the door. "your welcome", bubbles said as butch opened the door and walked out. the rest of us walked out and waved good bye to james as he closed the door. "so now what the hell are we going to do?", butch asked as we all quickly flew up into the air and in the direction of new townsville. "i don't know", i said. "I'm just glad we didn't have to kidnap him", bubbles said. "it would of been easier if we could of", buttercup said. "now we have to think of a whole new plan to get rid of them with out seriously harming them", boomer said. "they will not hesitate to kill the puffs.. if they get the chance they will take it and we cant let that happen!", brick said to his brothers. "I won't let them touch kaoru! Or momoko and miyako for that matter!", butch said. "We have to protect each other no matter what!", boomer said. " we can't keep fighting off the punks for ever..", bubbles said. "Guys.... Do you think it would be best if we fly far away from the city to vacant land and just fight the punks there? They would eventually have to give up and leave us alone when they lost that fight right?", I said. "You mean like just battle it out with the punks and losers leave the city?", butch asked. "Yeah", I said. "What if we lose?", buttercup asked. "Then we will be dead.... That's why we can't lose", I said. "I like the idea but I want to add one small change. Us guys will go fight while you girls stay in safety some where", brick said. "What!?", I gasped as I stopped flying and hovered in the same spot. Every one stopped flying and turned to me. "I'm not going to let you fight the punks alone!", I said. "I don't want you to get hurt!", brick said. "And I don't want you getting hurt!", I said as I crossed my arms. "Momoko is right. Six against three is better odds", buttercup said. " I think I agree with brick... I don't want you getting killed kaoru!", butch said. "This isn't just your guys fight! It's ours too!", I said. "The punks are psychos! They will kill you!", brick said. "But they could kill you to!", buttercup said as she crossed her arms. The tension between the four of us was growing. We were all mad at each other and was choosing sides. How dare brick try and decide what's best for me! I know he means well but this is not his decision. We are supposed to be a team! We fight together! "We took care of him! The punks can't be as bad as him!", buttercup said. "No you just barley made it when you defeated him!", butch said. I could tell kaoru was getting even more furious. "Come on boomer help us out here! Don't you agree with us?", brick asked. "No way I'm staying out of this! Miyako and I just got over fighting!", boomer said. Butch rolled his eyes at boomer. "Brick I've already lost you once and I don't want to go through that again... When you three was missing it tore us three to pieces. We are a team. We are meant to fight along side each other!", I said. Brick's angry facial expression softened. "Your right... We are a team", brick said. "Besides if we were split up we would all be wondering if each other was safe then you guys would be distracted", buttercup said. "If brick and I took on berserk. Kaoru and butch had brute and miyako and boomer had brat the odds of us living is greater!", I said. "I just don't want to see you fighting berserk again.... Do you know how painful it was seeing you get nearly killed by her?", brick said. "Brick... I'm a hero it's my job to put my life on the line", I said. "I know but it's just hard to know the one you love could be killed any time they go off to save the day!", brick said. "I know.. But as long as we have each other we can help protect each other!", I said. "Just promise me one thing..?", brick said. "I'll promise you any thing", I said. "Promise me that if some how I was in danger and was going to get hurt you will not interfere and get hurt instead of me", brick said. "I'll promise any thing except that.... If I have a chance to save you to keep you alive. I would take that chance in a heart beat even if that means I get hurt instead", I said. Brick frowned at me. I could tell he wasn't happy with me but I didn't care. If I have a chance to save brick I would take it. "If I asked you to promise me the same thing you would of refused too", I said as I frowned at brick. Brick sighed as he shook his head. "Let's just go home", brick said as he turned and started to fly away. I bit my lip as I watched him go. "Go", buttercup said as she shooed butch away. "What?", butch asked. "Go calm him down", buttercup said. "Right because I'm the one who always calms people down", butch said sarcastically. "Then take boomer with you", buttercup said. "Damn it come on blue", butch said. Butch flew off and boomer followed him. Us girls started flying to but not fast enough to catch up to the guys. "Alright I don't say this allot but here I go... We need to have a girl talk about the guys", buttercup said. "Girl talk? About the guys?", I asked. "Girls talk about there boyfriends with there friends all the time. They even share specific details about there lovers and there kissing skills and stuff like that", bubbles said. "What? You want to talk about the guys' kissing skills?", I asked. "Oh my god you two are idiots", buttercup said as she reached over and flick bubbles and I in the arm. "Ow!", I hissed. "Ouch!", bubbles whimpered. "One, I meant talk about the guys and how to get them more prepared for us to fight against the punks and Two, miyako you need to stop reading so many women magazines and three, momoko get your mind out of the gutter", buttercup said. "My mind wasn't it the gutter!", I said. Buttercup rolled her eyes. "Any ways.. We need to decide on how we're going to convince the ruffs that we're capable of this.", buttercup said. "Why?", bubbles asked. "Because if we don't then while we're fighting the guys will be to worried about us and be to distracted when there fighting", buttercup said. "We have to ambush them", I said. "What?!", bubbles asked in horror. "Not to hurt them!", I said. "You mean ambush like how my dad, brothers and I do", buttercup said. "Yes. And miyako this doesn't really apply to you since boomer didn't object to you fighting", I said. "Good because I couldn't ambush boomer", bubbles said. "So kaoru your the expert how should we ambush brick and butch?", I asked. "Well first off I think you should ambush brick then ill ambush butch then we will trade off", buttercup said. "So you want me to ambush butch to?", I asked as I gulped. "Yeah", buttercup said as she smiled knowing I was a bit nervous. "Butch will bite my head off! He can get mean!", I said. "So I have to ambush butch to!", buttercup said. "Yeah but your different! He loves you and won't get that mad at you!", I said. "So brick is going to get mad at me for ambushing him!", buttercup said. "Yeah but brick isn't as scary as butch.. Brick and boomer can be scary but Butch is the scariest out of both of his brothers", bubbles said. Buttercup looked at bubbles and shook her head. "Miyako, boomer is like a bunny... He is not scary or mean at all", buttercup said. "Boomer can be scary! You have never seen his mean/ scary face!", bubbles said as she crossed her arms. I smiled at bubbles and at how she was trying to defend boomer. Buttercup gapped her mouth a little and squinted her eyes at bubbles. "What the hell do you guys do when your alone?! Make funny faces at each other?", buttercup asked. I couldn't help but laugh. Bubbles shot me a glare so I quickly pressed my lips together tightly to force myself to stop laughing. "Not all of the time!....... Only when we're bored", bubbles said. "Oh Jesus!", buttercup said as she rolled her eyes. I giggled at bubbles. "So any ways lets talk about our ambush strategies", buttercup said.
