Chapter twenty-one, A day at the amusement park

~Momoko's P.O.V~

"come on lets go to the petting zoo first!", miyako said as she pulled boomer by his hand. we had just arrived at the park and already paid our way in. every one was excited about what they wanted to do. kaoru, butch, brick and i were excited about the roller coasters. but i think miyako was more interested in the petting zoo. we walked through the zoo's gates. the animals were all sectioned off in there own gates. they seemed happy to see people but i always felt sorry for them because they were stuck in small enclosures instead of being wild and free. "awww look its a llama!", miyako said as she ran up to its fence. we quickly followed her. there was two llamas with there heads leaned down over the gate. miyako and boomer was already petting one. brick and i walked up to the other llama and started to pet it. "aw your a cute little guy", brick said as he smiled. the llama moved it's head closer to brick then licked brick's face. "eww it slobbered on me", brick said as he quickly moved away. i laughed at brick. "aw brick it was only giving you a kiss", miyako said. "i think i prefer momoko's kisses", brick said as he wiped his cheek. "that's because i don't slobber", i said. every one laughed as we walked to the next animal. the next animal was a goat. this time brick didn't get close enough to get licked again he kept his distance put still petted the animals. once we were finished at the petting zoo we all quickly washed our hands in the little automatic sinks they had at the exit of the gate. "so where should we go to now?", boomer asked. "roller coasters", kaoru, butch, brick, and i said all at the same time. "roller coasters it is then", boomer said. "which one should we go on first?", kaoru asked. "hell's canyon!", i said with excitement. "are you sure that's the biggest one here?", butch said. "uh yeah go big or go home", i said. "that my girl", brick said as he put his arm around my waist. we all walked over to where the line for hell's canyon started. the line wasn't short but it wasn't very long either. "your not going to chicken out are you?", kaoru asked miyako. "no i'm fine", miyako said. "yeah kaoru why would she be scared? we fly higher than this ride almost every day", i said quietly. "yeah kaoru we have been to the moon before so why would i be scared of this?", miyako said. a group of people who just got off the ride was coming out of the exit. they were laughing and slapping high fives. a group of guys that just got off the ride ran over and got in line behind us. they must of been college guys since they were wearing TU shirts. TU meant townsville university. they were all strong and muscular. they must be jocks. "hey beautiful, skirts are probably not the best thing to wear on this ride", one of the jocks joked. "what?", i asked as i realized he was talking to me. most of the other jocks laughed at there friend's joke. "hey leave her alone", brick said angrily as he put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. "were just giving advice", one of the jocks said. "yeah were just trying to have fun", another jock said. "yeah were here on a free day so were not looking for any trouble. to make it up to you we are having a party in my dorm tonight if you want to come and have some fun", a jock said then winked at me. "uh were not college students", i said. "your not? you look old enough to be one?", said a jock. "no were seniors in high school", i said. "ew dude you was flirting with a high school girl", one of the jocks said. "i flirt with any hot girls that i meet!", the jock said. "hey keep your comments to your self!", brick snapped. "hey shut up!", a jock said as he balled his fists and took a step closer to brick and i. brick pushed me behind him but still held onto my hand protectively. "hey!", butch said angrily and he and kaoru walked over to us. miyako and boomer stood next to them to. a few of the jocks laughed and winked at kaoru and miyako. butch quickly put his arm around kaoru's waist and pulled her closer to him. "so what is this a fun group date for you six?", a jock asked. "judging by the hickey on that guys neck i'd say they already had fun", another jock joked. "hey shut up that's none of your business", i said angrily. "hey what's going on up here mahito?", a jock asked. he gasped as he seen us. i gasped as i seen who it was. he was a tall guy that wore the same shirt as the other jocks. he had green shaggy/ spikey hair and green eyes like kaoru's. his name is dai matsubara. kaoru's older brother. "kaoru!?", dai said shocked. "dai!?", kaoru said shocked as she pushed butch away from her. butch stumbled back and ran into brick causing brick to fall over on me. brick and i both fell and hit the ground. brick landed on top of me. "i'm so sorry are you okay?", brick asked. our faces was only centimeters apart. his eyes scanned my face looking for any sign of pain. "i'm fine", i said as i leaned up and kissed brick on the lips. i pulled away and smiled at him. he smiled to. brick quickly stood up and helped me up. "are you alright?", i asked. "yeah i'm fine", brick said. "hello dai", miyako said as she smiled and waved. "hello miyako", dai said as he smiled at her. "hey dai", i said as i brushed off my skirt. "hey momoko", dai said as he smiled. "dai you know these people?", mahito asked. "yeah man that's my sister kaoru and her friends momoko and miyako", dai said as he pointed to all of us. "that's your brother?", butch asked. kaoru nodded her head. "so who are these guys kaoru?, dai asked. "uh that's brick momoko's boy friend. and that's boomer miyako's boyfriend and this is butch", kaoru said awkwardly. "is he your boyfriend?", dai asked. kaoru looked down awkwardly at her feet. kaoru's family doesn't even know she is dating any one. she has never told them about butch yet. dai looked at me and i slowly nodded my head yes. "so your her boyfriend?", dai asked. "yeah", butch said as he smiled. "i would say if you hurt her ill kill you but kaoru has learned enough wrestling moves i'm sure she could do it herself", dai said. butch chuckled as he looked at kaoru who was still embarrassed. dai looked at brick. "now momoko isn't my sister but she is like one to me to you hurt her then ill have to hurt you", dai said sternly. "don't worry he wont hurt me. we have to much fun together. were happy together", i said as i smiled at brick and stood on my tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek. "maybe to much fun", dai said as he pointed to brick's hickey on his neck. i blushed and looked down at my feet. dai turned and looked at boomer. "same goes for miyako hurt her and ill hurt you", dai said. "don't worry i'd never dream of hurting her", boomer said. "good", dai said as he turned back to kaoru. kaoru looked back up at dai. "so does dad know?", dai asked. "no", kaoru said. "what?", dai asked. "he doesn't know so don't tell him! i'm waiting on the right time to tell him", kaoru said. "relax i wont tell him", dai said. "thanks", kaoru said. "sorry i missed your birthday", dai said. "its alright i didn't spend it at home any way", kaoru said. "oh? where did you go?", dai asked. "we through a party for her on the roof of the professor's lab", i said. "you three still work there?", dai asked. "well actually all six of us work there", miyako said. "oh. uh i remember kaoru saying that the professor had apartments on the top floor that he was going to let you guys stay in so you could be closer to your work", dai said. "yeah the professor thought it would be easier on us to live there if we wanted to.", kaoru said. "so are any of you guys going to move there after high school?" dai asked. "actually momoko and brick already live together there", kaoru said. dai's eyes widened as he looked at us. "you two live together?", dia asked. "yeah", brick said. "what does your parents think?", dai asked as he looked at me. "uh we had a fight so i moved out. i lived in just a bed room at the lab but yesterday for brick's birthday we moved into our own apartment.", i said. "man i go to college and every thing changes back home", dai said as he rubbed the back of his head. "well maybe if you would visit more often you would know", kaoru said. "hey i try but some times i'm busy with school work and stuff", dai said. "so your to busy for your family?", kaoru asked. "hey shut up kaoru. at least i call from time to time", dai said as he crossed his arms. "i haven't talked to you in months", kaoru said as she crossed her arms. "well every time i call your not home. mom says your always out with friends", dai said. kaoru's face softened. "yeah i guess i am gone a lot", kaoru said. "see your not around the family a lot either", dai said. "well iv been busy", kaoru said. "with butch?", dai asked. "with all of my friends", kaoru said. "dad said you went on a camping trip with the girls a few weeks ago. so let me guess you really snuck of with butch didn't you?", dai said. "uh no we all went not just butch and i", kaoru said. "dai everyone had their own tent so there's nothing to be mad about. nothing happened", miyako said defending kaoru. i could feel my face heat up as i blushed remembering brick and i in the tent together kissing. i couldn't help but smile as i thought of the memory. "why are you smiling?", dai asked as he looked at me. "huh?", i said as his question snapped me back into reality. "your smiling? are they lying to me?", dai asked. "what no i was just thinking", i said. butch chuckled at me. "what?", i asked. "i just remembered when i scared the piss out of you and brick", butch said as he laughed. "shut up butch. i should of punched you harder for that", brick said. "yeah if brick wasn't on top of me i would of kicked you harder", i said angrily. "come on it was a great prank! you two was sitting ducks!", butch said. "yeah if that was a horror movie you two would of been the first to die!", kaoru said. "why?", brick asked. "every one knows that the couple that makes out every five seconds is the first to die in movies", kaoru said. "oh shut up we don't make out every five seconds!", i said as i crossed my arms. "what are you talking about?", dai asked. "when we went camping brick and momoko was the first ones to get back to the camp site after we all went canoeing. and when the rest of us got there they was making out hard in a tent so i put on a hockey mask and scared the piss out of them", butch said as he laughed and poked my side. i quickly swatted butch's hand away. "that was a dick move butch", i said. "yeah well if i wouldn't of scared you two you probably would have been moaning his name the whole night. and i don't like hearing girls moan my brother's name!", butch said. "hey shut up butch!", brick said angrily. "yeah we was having a wonderful moment!", i said. "ohh the little guy is getting some", a jock said as he smiled at brick as if he was congratulating him. mahito laughed at his friends joke. dai chuckled as he looked at me. "oh shut up", i said as i blushed. "it's okay. at least we have a wonderful relationship and that we can be ourselves in front of each other", brick said. i turned and faced brick and took both his hands in mine. we only stood a few inches apart. "brick i'm glad i have you in my life. i wouldn't trade you for any thing. i'm glad that i can be myself in front of you with out being afraid that you would think i'm weird", i said as i smiled at him. "that's because i'm just as weird as you", brick said as he smiled. "so your calling me weird?" i asked as i smiled and raised an eye brow at him. "uh in a good way?", brick said. "were weird together and i love that",i said as i smiled as leaned up giving brick a quick kiss on his lips. "see we deal with this every five seconds. we have to deal with them saying mushy things then kissing each other", kaoru said. i let go of brick and turned back to our friends. "it takes a real man to appreciate his girl in front of his friends", a jock said." there are other ways to show appreciation you know", kaoru said as she looked at me. "yeah but kissing is my favorite way!", i said as i blushed. i could hear a few jocks laugh as one of the jocks muttered, "lucky kid". "i wish i had a girl like that", mahito muttered. "why do you always some how bring up our love life?", i asked. "because its fun teasing you!", butch said as he laughed. "well it annoys me", i said. "some times i really hate you", brick said. "i'm sure you do", butch joked. kaoru laughed as she smiled at butch. "butch your such a hard ass. now i know why my sister likes you", dai said as he chuckled. "aren't they just perfect for each other. there like the same person. i don't know if they were a match made in heaven or hell!", i said. dai laughed and nodded his head. "yeah they are very similar from what i can tell", dai said. i turned my head back and noticed there was a large gap in between my group of friends and the people that was in front of us in line. we had been to concerned with talking to dai we didn't even notice the line moving. "C'mon guys", i said as i waved my hand. every one noticed the gap so we quickly kept walking until we were near the other people in line. "i cant wait to get on this beast again!", mahito said as he clapped his hands together. "yeah a 400 foot high hill! what could be better than that!?", a jock said. "400 feet!?", i said shocked. "well they don't call it hells canyon for nothing sweet heart", a jock said with a new york accent. before i could say any thing another guy with the same accent said," back in america we have roller coasters way bigger than this one". "your from america?", i asked. "yeah i'm Jude. i'm from new york. i moved here last year to go to college", the guy with an accent said. jude was kind of tall. he had blonde skater hair. he wore a back beanie which i'm not sure why because it was hot outside. he also wore a UT shirt. "why the hell would you come all the way over here?", brick asked. "well iv always wanted to go to japan so i figured why not here's my chance. after i finish college i can move back or i could stay here.", jude said. "don't you have family back in the us?", i asked. "my family didn't really support me coming here but Jen my girlfriend gave me full support and that's all that matters to me", jude said. "well i'm jud. jude's brother. i just came here to party", the jock with the accent said. jud had the same kind of hair as jude except his was brown. he also wore also wore a beanie but his was grey. his eyes was hazel. he wore UT shirt and jeans. "we may be brothers but we are nothing alike", jude said as he gave jud a angry glare. "look man you need to just let go and have a good time while your here", jud said as he put his arm around his brothers shoulder. jude quickly shrugged it off. "we have very different goals in life. mine is to marry my love Jen and become a teacher. i want to teach kids how to do things like skateboard and surf or snowboard", jude said. "boooooooring", jud said extending the o's. "so then what's your goals?", i asked. "take a girls v-card from every country and or state", jud said as he smiled widely. "uh wow well good luck with that", i said shocked. "wanna be my first for japan?", jud joked. "go to hell", i said as i lifted up and hand and stuck up my middle finger flipping him off. "ohhh feisty i like it", jud said. "shut up", brick said sternly. jud turned to miyako and pointed at her. "what about you?", jud asked. "uh that's very rude! no thank you!", miyako said as she crossed her arms. "yeah don't talk to her that way man", boomer said angrily. "jud leave them alone. have some respect", dai said angrily. "i did! i didn't ask your sister out of respect for you!", jud said. "i'm so sorry. like i said were nothing alike. i'm not sure how were related", jude said. "pfft Jen's got you wrapped around her finger! your whipped!", jud said then made a whipping motion with his hand and a whipping sound. "shut up jud. i know what love is and Jen and i have it!", jude said angrily. jud rolled his eyes and turned away from his brother. "sorry they tend to fight a lot", dai said. we noticed the line was moving again so we kept moving forward. after a few minutes we were next to get on the ride. i grabbed brick's hand and we quickly ran to the spot that said, "1". which meant we would be in the front seat of the car. butch and kaoru went to the line that said, "2". which meant they would sit behind us. dai and mahito sat behind kaoru and butch. i'm not sure why but miyako and boomer went to the very back. a cart slowly came to a stop and the safety bars unlocked. the people started to get out. once every one was out the gate in front of us opened. brick and i quickly stepped into the cart and sat down. i pulled the safety bar down over my shoulders. after a few seconds there was a clicking noise which meant the safety bars was locked. brick reached over and pushed on my bar to make sure it was locked. "don't want you to fall out", brick said as he smiled. "yours is locked to right?", i asked. "yepp", brick said. the cart slowly started to move and go up the first hill. i could feel my heart racing. "scared?", brick asked as he smirked at me. "no i'm fine", i said. "you sure?", brick said as he reached over and took my hand and held it tightly in his. "yeah", i said as i smiled at him. "hey momoko", butch called. "what?", i call back. "remember that movie..... final destination.. you know the one were every one dies on the roller coaster", butch said. "shut up butch", i said. i could hear kaoru, mahito, dai and butch laughing. i could feel brick give my hand a reassuring squeeze. "don't pay attention to him", brick said. "were going to die---- were going to die", butch said while trying to keep him self from laughing. "damn it butch shut up", brick and i both screamed. "come on its funny!", butch said. "no its not!", i said. i could feel my heart beating faster. what if this cart some how came off the tracks? what if we did---- die.... i quickly shook my head as i cleared my thoughts. i don't want to think about this. "your an ass butch", i said angrily. i looked over and down to the ground. we had to be at least 300 feet up by now. the people on the ground looked like ants. i scanned the ground looking at all of the people. mothers and fathers walked holding there kids hand. one little boy had his face painted like a cat and held a red balloon. another little kid had a huge thing of cotton candy that he was sharing with his father. then a teenage boy caught my eye. he was wearing a red hat and he had red hair. he looked up in my direction. i gasped as i seen his face. what the hell is he doing here? why is bruise here!? i blinked my eyes and looked back down. wait were did he go? were did bruise go? my eyes quickly scanned the crowd but he was no were to be seen. wait was my eyes playing tricks on me? maybe i was just imagining it. i guess i am pretty high up maybe it was some one else that sort of looked like bruise. "what?", brick asked. "uh nothing i just noticed were pretty high up", i lied. i don't want to tell my friends i seen bruise or thought i seen him because then they would all be busy looking for him instead of having a good time. "yeah we are pretty high up", brick said. "you would think id be used to this", i said as i smiled. "maybe its just because your you and you know not blossom right now", brick said quietly. before i could say any thing else i noticed we were all the way at the top of the hill about to plummet down. brick gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. the cart went speeding down the hill. brick lifted our arms into the air. his hand still holding mine. i could hear butch and kaoru screaming , "whooo!". i smiled realizing my friends were having a good time. the cart went through the rest of the track. going through all the loops and up and down the hills. after the last hill the cart slowed down to a stop. "every one have a good ride?", the ride operator asked over the intercom. every one cheered. the safety bars lifted up and we stood up. brick stepped out of the cart first then turned around and grabbed my hand and helped me step out of the cart. i smiled up at brick as he smiled down at me. butch and kaoru stepped out of the cart laughing. miyako quickly ran by covering her mouth with her hand. "miyako!", boomer shouted as he ran after miyako. "miyako?", i asked. miyako ran straight to a trash can and started puking. "ha! i knew she couldn't handle it!", kaoru said as she laughed. "you okay?", boomer asked as he rubbed her back. a small group of guys walked by. they looked like they was about 14 years old. "ha! looser!", one of them called to miyako. "hey you little brat!", i yelled as i balled my fists. the kids laughed as they walked away. brick put his hand on my shoulder. "im fine", miyako said as she stood back up and gave us all a small smile. boomer stared at miyako with a concern look on his face. "really i'm fine boomie", miyako said softly to boomer. "are you sure? why don't we go sit down some where?", boomer said. "sure", miyako said as she nodded her head. "yeah then we could get some cotton candy or some thing", kaoru said as she rubbed her hands together. our group walked through the exit and down the stairs. we kept walking until we found some tables next to some food stands. "hey kaoru were gonna split but if you guys wanna hang out later come to mahito's party tonight", dai said. "its on TU campus right?", kaoru asked. "yeah", dai said as he nodded his head. "see you then", kaoru said. dai looked like he was going to pull kaoru into a hug but instead he put her in a choke hold and used his other hand to mess up her hair. "dai!", kaoru said with laughter in her voice. dai let her go and smiled. "bye punk", dai said as he waved good bye. "what ever", kaoru said as she smiled. dai and the group of jocks walked away. kaoru ran her fingers threw her hair in an attempt to fix it. "your brother seems nice", butch said. "you have no idea. he can be an ass at times but a total sweet heart when he wants to be", kaoru said as she smiled. "its pretty cool that dai invited us to a college party", i said. "yeah that was sweet of him to include us", miyako said. "should we go?", boomer asked. "fuck yes", butch said. "yeah why would we pass up a party", kaoru said. "and this will give dai more of a chance to get to know butch", i said. "yeah your going to have to introduce butch to your family sooner or later", brick said. "i will when i'm ready", kaoru said. "its already been a few month kaoru. how much more time do you need?", i asked. "hey miyako hasn't introduced boomer to her grandma yet!", kaoru said as she crossed her arms. "but i will be soon though", miyako said. "what ever. i'm going to get some cotton candy", kaoru said as she walked away. butch chuckled as he followed her. "touchy subject huh?", brick said. "i guess so", i said. "she is probably just afraid of what her dad will say", miyako said. "or she is afraid for butch", i said. "why?", boomer asked. "her dad is a wrestler and she is his only daughter so he is protective of her", i said. "at least he cares", miyako said. "well every good parent cares about there kids", i said. "my dad has a funny way of showing it", miyako said. i felt a ping of sadness in my heart. miyako's parents were never really around so she never got the experience of an over protective father. "mine to. except my dad is a monkey that is obsessed with killing my girl friend", brick joked. miyako giggled at his joke. i smiled at brick. he always knew how to make a situation better. weather it was by telling a stupid joke or being funny. he always lightened the mood. butch does the same thing to. but some times butch goes to far with his jokes. kaoru walked back over to us holding 3 cones of cotton candy. she handed one to miyako and the other to me. butch was holding two cones. he handed one to boomer and kept the other for himself. "sorry man i dropped yours on the walk back over", butch said. "its cool we can share", i said as i smiled. brick smiled as he pulled a piece of cotton candy off the cone. "look the love birds are sharing", a voice said. i quickly whipped my head around to see who it was. "fuck", i muttered when i seen who it was. so i really did see him back on the roller coaster. it wasn't my imagination. "what the hell are you doing here bruise", brick said angrily. "you know just hanging out", bruise said casually. "leave", butch said angrily as he started to walk over to bruise. "no no butch. you don't want to make a scene do you?", brutal said as he smiled. "huh?", butch said as he stopped next to me. "i hate to say it but brutal is right", kaoru said as she walked over to stand next to butch. "i'm always right baby. that's why i don't see why your with this loser", brutal said as he gestured to butch. "butch is not a loser. he is twice the man you are", kaoru said angrily. "hey miyako. ready for a real man?", bomber said as he winked at miyako. "boomer is a real man!", miyako said angrily. "don't talk to her bomber!", boomer said angrily. bomber rolled his eyes. "i should kick your ass for what you did to momoko yesterday", brick said through clenched teeth. " aww did i make your girlfriend scrap her knees?", brutal asked with a twisted smile. brick started to step forward but i grabbed his arm and held him back. "no brick", i whispered. "looking fine today momoko", bruise said. i could feel brick tense. "did your skirt get shorter? you looked mighty fine from behind", bruise said as a twisted smile spread across his face as he stared at brick. i could feel brick try to pull away from me and go after bruise but i pulled him back. "no brick he is just trying to get into your head. he is messing with you. its not worth it", i said sternly. brick scowled at bruise. "you know there is a million and one things id love to do to you. you know that would make you scream", bruise said as he looked at brick. "that's it!", brick said as he yanked his arm out of my hands then leaped forward and tackled bruise to the ground. "now you've pissed him off", butch said as he looked down at bruise. brick pulled his arm back and punched bruise hard. brutal quickly pulled brick off bruise. brutal punched brick hard in the side of the face. "hey", i screamed as anger raged through me. brutal pushed brick to the ground. i quickly ran over and through myself at brutal making him fall to the ground. i quickly pinned him down and pulled back my fist and punched brutal hard in the jaw. bomber quickly pushed me off. i hit the ground hard. i groaned in pain as my knees scrapped the pavement. i looked down at my knees and sure enough they were bloody. before bomber could swing at me kaoru tackled him down. butch quickly pulled bomber away from kaoru. i turned to see brick starting to stand back up but bruise was about the push him down again. boomer quickly ran forward and pushed bruise away. "boomie!", miyako yelled as she ran forward and pushed boomer out of the way as brutal swung at boomer. "momoko no!", brick yelled as he stood up and tried to stop me but it was to late. i was already swinging my hardest at brutal. my fist hit the side of brutal's face hard. brutal quickly wrapped his hands around my throat. "hey don't touch my sister!", a voice yelled. i looked past brutal to see dai running this way. brick quickly tackled brutal and made brutal let me go. our whole group of friends was now fighting. even dai. dai was trying to protect his sister. a strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist and lifted me off the ground. "who the hell----?", i muttered. but then i seen a huge group of security guards coming and pulling us away from each other. each security guard pulled back one of my friends. "throw them out", one of the guards ordered. i noticed a lot of people were gathered around staring at us. "let me go!", brick said angrily. "who started it?", the security guard asked. "him", bruise said as he pointed to brick. "no way you did!", brick said angrily. "you hit me first", bruise said. "well if you wasn't being a fucking pervert to my girlfriend i wouldn't of had to hit you!", brick said angrily. "release them at different gates", a guard said. the guards escorted bruise, brutal, and bomber away. the other guards escorted my group of friends to the exit gates. since dai was being escorted out his friends followed him. once we was at the gates the guards pushed us out. "leave the area. we don't want to have to kick you out permanently", a guard said as they walked away. "aw bricky your hand is bleeding", i said as i grabbed his hand. i pulled a pink hanker chief out of my pocket and used it to wipe off the blood. "i'm fine", brick said as he looked down at me. i looked up at him. i looked into his worried eyes. "are you alright?", brick asked softly. "i'm not hurt", i said as i softly smiled at him. "but your knees are bleeding", brick said as he looked down. "i'm fine", i said. "kaoru why the hell was you fighting with them?", dai asked. "bruise the red headed one was being a perv to momoko so brick tried to defend her. then momoko tried to help bick so i tried to help momoko then you can see were it went from there", kaoru said. "if them bastards ever lay a hand on you again i swear ill kick all of there asses!", dai said angrily. "look dai i can handle my self. i grew up with you and shou", kaoru said. "look kaoru... if you ever need my help don't be afraid to call me okay", dai said. "i will", kaoru said. "so we will definitely see you guys at the party later?", dai asked. "yeah we will be there", kaoru said.
