Chapter 16

Bonnie's POV
I can't believe she would kill herself for thinking that we would be better off without her. What was she thinking?!
"Bonnie?! What did she say?!" Elena asks with sadness in her voice.
"She said she misses us and she's sorry." I whisper calmly. Elena starts crying and walks out. I cant even relate to Elena and how she is feeling.
-unknown POV- (that you know is Mel's POV)
I was now just walking around Mystic Falls following Damon. He is doing very well without me in his life I can tell. What was I seriously thinking when I killed myself?! I sigh and stop following him. I head over to Bonnie who is at the boarding house... I need to talk to her urgently. I watch her look through her grimoires but when she can sense me she looks at me.
"Hey Mel."
"I need to talk to you." She nods gesturing for me to continue.
"You do know that by doing this spell it will kill you?"
"I know the risks Mel and I'm willing to do this."
"I won't let you... I'll go to Jeremy and tell him so then he tells everyone else and they will stop you." She looks at me in disbelief.
"Why? Why don't you want me to do this?! They need you Mel and yet here you are trying to stop me! I would die a thousand times to keep you alive!" We hear a gasp from behind me and I turn seeing Jeremy there.
"Jer... Let me explain... I..." Bonnie starts but Jer cuts her off.
"Let you explain! You were going to die so Mel could live! I won't allow that to happen! We will come up with a different way to get you back Mel. I promise but Bonnie... If I have to I will make sure you go on house arrest doing no magic."
"Don't you get it Jeremy?! There is no other way! Either she gets revived by magic or she stays dead! Theres no other option!" Bonnie shouts at him.
"Both of you stop. I'm not letting you do the spell Bonnie. I will always put family and friends before myself and if you have to die to bring me back then I won't let you. I would rather stay dead. Everyone needs you more especially Jeremy. So stop trying to be the hero to go on the mission of trying to save me because if everyone finds out then they would stop you... Only one person would encourage you and that would be Damon. So stop." I say and walk out letting the pair talk. I slid down the wall letting all the tears fall. I hear a car pull up and see Damon getting out of the car. He looks awful. He has red puffy eyes from crying, a tear stained face and his hair is a mess. He goes into the boarding house during the pairs disagreement.
"Will you both shut the fuck up?!" They both shut up immediately and once Damon is out of sight they continue to ramble on. Jeremy then sighs and pulls out his phone. By this time I'm back inside the house that I love so much. He calls someone who I think is Stefan and tells him to get the gang and come home to his house. After about 10 minutes everyone tumbles in looking depressed. What have I caused?
"Why did you call us here Jeremy?"
"Jeremy don't." Bonnie warns.
"If Bonnie does the spell to bring back Melanie then she's going to die." Everyone looks at Bonnie while Bonnie looks like she is on the verge of tears.
"No Bonnie. I can't lose you. I would prefer you alive to Melanie." Caroline says while Stefan, Tyler, Jeremy and even Elena agree.
"Wow. Now you have really hurt Mel's feelings." Bonnie says looking at everyone before looking at me. Tears running down my face and I can tell that Jeremy is looking at me.
"What are you on about Bonnie?! She's dead and she isn't coming back! Get over it!" Elena shouts.
"Ok yes she is dead! But She is right here even Jeremy can see her! She just heard you basically say that you don't care about her! I can't believe you Elena! Out of all people I thought that you wouldn't stop me!"
"Bonnie! I never cared for her! I never have and never will! She was a nuisance! I wish she was never born! I'm glad she's dead! She's made my life so much easier being dead!" I gasp and cry running out of the house ignoring Bonnie's pleas for me to stay. Elena never cared. She doesn't care for me. She wished I was never born. She hates me! I run into the woods looking at all the dead supernatural creatures that are stuck here with me on The Other Side. I run until I feel someone grab my arm. I turn to see a group of witches.
"Hello Melanie."
"What do you want?"
"We can send you back to Earth as long as you agree to become a full hybrid."
"Why would I possibly want to become part werewolf."
"Actually you'll be part vampire, part werewolf and part witch. Do you accept?"
"Yes but how long will I have to wait?"
"About a week." I nod and just sit there. A whole week til I go home. Fabtastic!
