Mel's POV (WHOA TWISTER!)
I open my eyes and notcice I'm not dead. I turn to the side and see Elena stood there looking shocked. Probably because she isn't dead. I look around and see that we are still in Mystic Falls except... It's abandoned. There's no one here. I pick up a newspaper that is there. I look at the date and it's May 14th 1994. We went back in time. SERIOUSLY?! I prefer to be dead right now especially since Damon thinks I'm dead. I sigh and walk to our old house. Looks like we are stuck here. Great.
Damon's POV
She's officially dead. Melanie is gone and isn't coming back. I can't believe she's gone. I love her yet I lost her. What am I going to do? I go home and straight to my room. I can't believe she's never coming back. I prefer her in a coma, I know it's sad but at least I knew she was coming back sooner or later. I miss her so much.
Stefan's POV
I hear Damon enter the house and go straight to his room. I don't blame him. He lost the love of his life. He lost her because of her decision. She decided to save the others because of the type of person she is. Elena didn't come out either and I know it's no coincidence. She and Melanie would always put others before themselves and that's what I loved about them both. They were so caring. I can't believe that they are actually gone. I can't ever hold Elena again. I can't see her laugh, smile or personality forever and that's what scares me the most.
