CHAPTER SIX - time will tell

WEEKS HAD GONE BY AND TALIA WAS GETTING STRONGER. Talia sat in her room with the building blocks that the doctor had given her. Talia was using her mind to move the building blocks, she had shown the fourth sign of a perfect symbiotic connection.
Talia didn't think about anyone, she thought about Wanda and Pietro. She saw Wanda as the sister she always wanted. The doctor's thoughts were loud, and Talia heard all of them, "She is going to love this surprise," he said in his head. The door to Talia's cell opened and she saw the doctor. He looked at her and smiled, "I have a surprise for you, Talia," he said. She smiled, "What is it?" She asked. She started to warm up to the doctor and his assistant, they treated her like a Princess. If they didn't she would get angry and threaten everyone. The doctor walked over to Talia and reached his hands out to her. Talia grabbed his hands and he pulled her up, "It's a surprise," he said. She nodded and followed the doctor. He led her to a room that she had never been to before. He opened the door and Talia walked in after him.
Talia saw Wanda and Pietro in the room. Wanda looked at Talia and smiled. Talia ran to Wanda and hugged her, "It feels so good to hug you" she whispered. Wanda nodded, "Yeah it does" she whispered back. Talia pulled away, "What no hug for me?" Pietro said. Talia smiled and hugged him. Pietro was so excited to see Talia, he ended up picking her up as he hugged her. Talia let go and looked back at the doctor, "What is this about?" She asked. He smiled at them, "You all must bond together, you have an hour," he said then closed the door. Talia looked back at the twins, "So Talia, we've heard a lot about you. You're basically the doctor's prize possession. Let's see your power" Pietro said. Wanda nudged him, "She doesn't have to if she doesn't want to" she said. Talia shook her head, "It's alright," she said.
Talia focused and the veins started to appear on her body.

Pietro was surprised by how beautiful it looked on her. He walked up to her, "Does it hurt?" He asked. Talia looked up at him and she shook her head. He held his hand up and she brought her hand up and touched his. Wanda saw how her brother looked at Talia, he liked her. But she was young and naive. Pietro held Talia's hand, "What does that power feel like?" He asked. Talia looked at their hands, "Like fire, it's getting stronger and it makes me feel like the most powerful person on the earth," she said. Pietro smiled at her, "You are," he said. He wasn't wrong. With the Phoenix Force inside Talia, it made her the most powerful being in the universe.
Talia looked at her hands and at the veins, "I never thought I would have this kind of power," she said. Wanda walked up to the two, "They never thought they would find the perfect host. But then they found you" she said. Talia let go of Pietro's hand and her face returned back to normal, "Which makes me wonder, what was it about me that made me the perfect host?" She asked. They both shrugged, "What about your powers?" Talia asked. Pietro smirked at her, then he ran about the room with his super speed. Talia smiled in excitement. She never thought she would have an opportunity like this. To change the world with powers like hers. Pietro stopped and looked at Wanda which made Talia look at her. Wanda's eyes started glowing red and her power emerged from her hands.
Talia smiled at Wanda's powers, the color, the shape. It was mesmerizing to stare at, "It's beautiful," she said. She walked over to Wanda and Talias power emerged too. Wanda held her hand out to Talia. Talia grabbed her hand and their power merged together, "I think our powers like each other" Wanda said causing Talia to smile. Their powers danced together like they were perfect for each other. Talia put her hand down, "Where did you two get your powers?" She asked. The twins looked at each other, "Some sort of stone" Pietro said. Talia nodded, "Where did mine come from?" She asked. Wanda sat down on the floor then Pietro and Talia followed, "The Phoenix Force was found after the attack on New York in 2012. They said it's an alien force. And now it's yours" she explained. Talia looked at her hands as her power emerged.
The power swirled around her fingers and her hands, and the Phoenix Force was happy to have finally found a perfect host for it. After millenniums of searching, it finally had someone that is perfect for its strength. A perfect one. Her power disappeared back into her hands, "How did the others die?" She asked. Wanda recalled in her head, "They turned to ash?" Talia asked. Wanda and Pietro looked at each other then back at her, "Did you just read my mind?" She asked. Talia shook her head, "Sorry I didn't mean to," she said. Wanda nodded, "It's okay. What else can you do with people's minds?" She asked. Talia looked at the twins, "I can communicate with people," she said in their heads. Talia smiled, "I think I can make people see things" she said. Talia's powers emerged and she pointed them at the twins, they looked around in delight.
Talia was making them see butterflies flying around them, then it wore off. Pietro looked at Talia, "So you have mind manipulation like my sister," he said. Wanda nodded, "But hers is more powerful and effective," she said. Talia smiled, "So when is the time coming when we take on the Avengers?" She asked. The twins smiled at each other, "Time will tell," Wanda said with a smirk.
