"I was going to propose." Lauren chuckled bitterly, her eyes still focused on the bad weather in front of them.

"You act like it's just you who's hurt, Camila's hurting too you know!" Dinah exclaimed, she had enough.

"I-"

"Just listen to me for once!" Dinah cuts her off.

"It wasn't her fault! She was fucking waiting! She would never cheat on you on purpose unless she was fucking drugged and high Lauren!" Dinah growled.

"For fuck's sake, she confessed as soon as you walked inside the apartment! If it was someone else they'd probably take the mistake to grave! She fucking came clean to you." Dinah sighed.

"I'm not taking anyone's side, but hell Lauser! It's been two days since you left the apartment, Mila still hasn't come out the bedroom. I understand that you're hurt, but so is she." Dinah added finally sitting on the sand beside Dinah.

"Laur, I love you, but we all make mistakes." Normani finally spoke up.

"You saw what was in the video, you heard Camila's side." Ally chimed in.

"Remember the time you went to help that trainee at the company and Mila waited for you longer than expected?" Ally added, Lauren remained silent.

"Then she went to surprise you by going to the company that late and she found out from the Guard that you were done with your work hours ago." Normani said.

"Yeah, and despite the fact that Jennifer held you late,  Camila offered that woman dinner. When in fact it was supposed to be your anniversary dinner. The two of you even took her home, and that trainee was hitting on you in front of Mila." Dinah also added.

"She was hurt that time, but she didn't show it. Camz always told me to do my best and well, try to make less contact with Jennifer. But I always end up helping her." Lauren finally spoke up.

"Hello?" Camila's sweet voice was heard.

"Hi baby, I'm sorry I'm running late." Lauren apologized.

"It's okay Engineer Jauregui." Camila giggled, Lauren felt her heart melt at the sound of Camila's giggle.

"I'll get to you as soon as possible okay?" Lauren smiled.

"Okay, be safe Lo. I love you." Camila smiled.

"I love you too baby." Lauren grinned happily.

A few more minutes passed, and Camila felt worried. Lauren should've been home half an hour ago, but she still wasn't. Not wanting Lauren to be hungry at work, the brunette went to ask Ally to take her to the company Lauren works in.

"Thank you Als, keep safe." Camila said before getting out the car and walking towards the building.

"Ms. Camila." The guard smiled at her. Since Lauren was known around the building, Camila was not a stranger to them anymore.

"Hey Clark, is Lauren still here?" Camila asked.

"She still is, but according to the record, she called it a day two hours ago Ma'am." Clark said politely. Camila was confused, if Lauren logged out of work already, why is she still there?

"You can go to her Ma'am, you know her office." Clark smiled as he opened the elevator door for Camila.

"Thank you Clark." Camila smiled. Once she reached Lauren's office, she heard soft chuckles from the other side of the office.
