It was another normal sunny day, people are out the house once again. Some wearing masks, and others are not. Others are back to work, including several artists presenting for the VMA's.

Camila found herself pacing back and forth the backstage, she had just finished her performance and is ready to go home. With her phone in her hand, she was checking the net if her performance had been aired online already.

"Hello?" Lauren whispered sleepily, answering her non-stop ringing phone.

"Lo." Camila's voice echoed, Lauren sighed before she shifted her position.

"What?" Lauren's cold voice sent shivers down her spine, Camila bit her lip, knowing what'll happen next.

"I...I'm sorry." Camila whispered, Lauren only grunted in response.

"I'm going back to sleep." The raven informed her, Camila opened her mouth to speak but the line went dead already.

The brunette sighed, running her fingers through her hair. This was getting way out of hand, the past days-scratch that, Years were a rough road for her. With her Public Relationship, everything was fine, people are happy for them.

Not knowing that her real life relationship had been spiraling down, it was like a boat lost at sea. While there are waves of challenges, rumors, and all that. And Camila was scared that these waves will be big enough to crash the boat, and send it sinking.

"Camila Cabello's sweet shout-out to her boyfriend, Shawn Mendes."

Lauren took a deep breath, ignoring the youtube video recommended to her. She didn't need to watch the video to know, Normani's sent video had already gave the content away. Normally, she wouldn't fret about this. But the fact that it was broadcast on live, with Camila doing it in front of everyone, that pained her somehow.

Camila was not the kind to do stuffs like that, and seeing her do it made an impact. She knew she had nothing to be jealous of, but seeing your person with a guy shipped to her by a lot of fans hurt, reading news articles about the guy comforting her, or accepting her as she is pissed her off.

Truth was, she should be credited for it. Ever since the band, she was the sole protector of the brunette. She loved her as she was, accepted her as she was, and even made sure she was confident of her own skin. In fact, a word from her and Camila would already be smiley, and all the "paps" had to do was snap a picture of Camila with Shawn, and bam! Headlines once again.

"Give it up for my guy, Shawn Mendes!"

Camila groaned, she hated herself for saying those words. But she had no choice, she was tasked to do so. The brunette quickly contacted her driver, ready to go home.

"Camila."

"What now?" The brunette sighed, looking at Dvora, her publicist.

"Roger." Dvora said, while Camila grabbed the phone.

"Shawn's already outside, you're going to grab food at a restaurant not too far." Roger instructed.

"I'm tired, can't I just go home?"

"Yes, I know. But I'm sure you're hungry as well." Roger insisted.

"I promise, just this time and you can get some rest." Dvora said.

"I'm not hungry." Camila told Roger before turning to Dvora.

"Didn't I have enough publicity with him for the day? I mean you sent Roger his picture, and he posted it already." Camila sighed.
