The podcast had just ended, the raven-haired girl sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair, what she said was partly true, She just happened to dismiss all Camren rumors and address a confirmation regarding Laucy. Lauren layed on her bed closing her eyes and she sighed heavily.
"I'm sorry."
She felt tears form at the corner of her eyes, what would the brunette feel? How would she react? Will they be able to fix what the fans messed up? Or was it the fans who messed things up? Will she be able to get back on her feet? A lot of questions running through her smart mind.
"We would talk and we would look at each other, we had lov for each other, a genuine friendship." Lauren repeated her words to herself.
"I was feeling frustrated because we-I had a good friendship relationship with Camila and I love her so much. We were just good friends who loved each other."
Was it true? Perhaps it was, What is really just friendship? Was there something more with the way the brunette looked into her in pure adoration, how the brunette expressed her love for her, platonically perhaps. Sighing, Lauren closed her eyes as she tried to ignore her phone. She was done with it, for the first time in years she addressed the rumors again, this time finally mentioning Camila.
"You started Camren." Was all she could think with her eyes closed. It was true, she did start the fandom. She was young and happy, who would've known that it could resort into something she wants to run away from? Would this finally stop the rumors? Hopefully it does.
"This is fucked up." The raven mumbled as she felt her phone vibrating nonstop. She knew she was probably trending at the moment, she knew she probably broke hearts but she just couldn't take the situation anymore. She wanted to address the rumor so bad she had practiced what she's going to say.
"Why don't you stop?" Lauren groaned as she ignored her vibrating phone. Little did she knew someone from another side of the screen was trying to call her.
"Damn." The browned eye girl chuckled as she closed her eyes, feeling the tears slowly escape her eyes. She had just woken up from a nap, and silently she wished she would've woken up later and never had to face news articles. Every word escaping from the green-eyed girls lips regarding rumors about them pinched through her heart word by word.
"Come on Camila." The brunette mumbled trying to pick herself up. Why was she affected? In fact she should be happy that Lauren had finally denied and addressed the rumors that have been lurking around the networks for years. It was a hole she dug herself into, that Lauren dug both of them into.
"And I did not have that connection with her. Camila and I were just very good friends at that time." The words rang in her mind as a soft unsteady breathe escaped her lips. It was true, at that time.
"They're to this day convinced that that was real, And I can't do anything to change it."
"And also, I didn't see Camila like that way. It made me uncomfortable that I could be potentially putting off that vibe." Biting her lip, the brunette tried to stop the tears escaping from her eyes. She breathed heavily and went to grab her phone to dial a number she never thought she'd call again.
"Fucking stop already." Lauren groaned as she felt her phone continuously vibrate, she didn't want to look at it. Sighing in defeat, the raven picked her phone up and saw a somewhat familiar number, soon enough the ringing stopped and she was met with a text message.
Please pick up.
As soon as she read the message, her phone rang this time she didn't hesitate to pick it up.
