Camila found herself watching Lauren from afar. The raven was sitting on her usual spot, writing and reading. It's been a week since the incident, Lauren had came home after she did go to Chris'. But instead of talking things out, the raven went and occupied the couch on their living room.

It was always the drill, Lauren would come home extremely late. Then crash on their living room, thinking Camila was already fast asleep. But those nights have been sleepless for the two of them, none making the first move.

As of the moment, Lauren was inside their room. The thunderstorms had started a few hours ago, and here is Camila; wishing it wouldn't end.

Lauren remained focused on her book, trying to make sure she wasn't looking directly at Camila. She knew how the younger one hated thunderstorms. And instead of staying out late, Lauren made sure to come home early and accompany the brunette.

With the lightning disappearing and the rain stopping from falling, Lauren looked up towards the window and noticed that the sky was already kind of cleared. The raven grabbed her phone, looking at the time.

She was contemplating, but she spoke up anyways.

"I'm going out." Lauren mumbled, standing up from her study table as she went to look for her car keys.

"With who?"

Lauren nearly looked at Camila in shock, she was expecting the brunette to not understand, but Camila had understood her mumble.

"Vero, Keana, and Lucy."

"Lucy?" Camila whispered. Lucy liked Lauren, and she didn't like it one bit. Lauren didn't respond, she just nodded.

"Where?" Camila asked.

"Bar."

"You don't drink."

"I do now."

"Lo, you'll get drunk an-"

"Don't act like you care about my feelings." Lauren mumbled, not thinking about her words.

Camila remained silent, while Lauren bit her lip, taking her jacket and walking out of their room. As Lauren went out their apartment, Camila only closed her eyes, slumping on their bed as she felt the tears fall from her cheeks.

Here she was again, playing the waiting game. What better past time could there be, other than crying? Lauren had been very distant to her, and she never knew where to start apologizing.

Camila wiped her tears, before looking at the clock. It was 9:30 pm, basically an hour since Lauren left. An hour since she started crying. An uneasy feeling was present in her heart, she wanted to call Lauren and just tell her to go home but she didn't want to be too uptight.

Sighing, Lauren found herself sitting on their front porch. The rain had started falling softly again a few minutes ago, and she was just watching it fall. The raven bit her lip and stood up, silently walking inside their apartment and sitting on the couch.

It was funny how she only spent the hour sitting on either her car, or the front porch. Her mind was occupied with thoughts, she badly wanted to hurt Camila too. But she knew better, hurting Camila would only mean hurting herself too.

Her phone had been buzzing non-stop, and she chose to ignore it. Lauren inhaled a deep breath, grabbing her phone and biting her lip upon seeing Keana's messages. Instead of typing her response, Lauren sent an emoji that looked like it was sick, and Keana being Keana, understood it.

Camila paced around their room, fighting her urge to call Lauren while the image of Lucy kissing Lauren kept on playing in her mind. It was a bar, Lauren was hurt and would be too drunk to control herself and Lucy might take advantage of it.
