"Hi Lauren."
Instead of answering, Lauren only gave her a small nod. Most times, people would bad mouth her. They'd call her a snob, someone who's too boastful, or a person caught up in her fame.
But the others who clearly loved or had a liking for the raven would die for just an eye contact with Lauren, or the classic nod. A small smile from her was to die for, and an interaction with her would cause death. At least, that's what she read in a fan letter she received.
"She nodded at me!"
"She's still a snob." The other one said.
Consider being one of the famous campus student...it was hard to keep a reputation up. It was tiring to greet people throughout the day, specially the ones who'd get too close to her.
Aside from being famous in the College she's in, Lauren is also known for her hobby in photography. In fact, she used to fill in for the owner of the place during the weekends whenever he's away. It wasn't much of a job for her, since the owner was his Uncle.
Right now, she was walking outside of an event she had taken shots of for fun, and well because of the constant nagging by her friends.
Lauren bit her lip before she looked at the time, it was nearly 7 pm and she needed to be else where. She was busy looking down on her pocket to look for her car keys, when she accidentally bumped on a student.
"Sorry." Lauren apologized sincerely, before she looked up.
"It's fine. A pleasure bumping into you." The woman smiled, her blue eyes looking directly at Lauren's green ones.
"I'm sorry, you must be weirded out. I'm Jane, from Barry University." Jane smiled, offering her hand for Lauren to shake. Lauren only smiled, giving her a nod.
"I guess the rumors are true? You are indeed hard to get." Jane flirted, gently pushing Lauren's shoulder in a teasing manner.
"No need to introduce yourself, I already know you." Jane giggled, when Lauren tried to walk past her.
"Lauren J, from University of Miami. One of the few over-achievers of the school. You're good in Softball, Volleyball, and even Soccer. Photography is your hobby." Jane smiled.
"Those are just rumors." Lauren humbly dismissed.
"Sorry again, excuse me." Lauren politely said.
"The party's just starting Lauren, why don't you come join me?" Jane winked, Lauren on the other hand shook her head before she attempted to walk past Jane again.
"Gosh, are you really caught up in your fame? Or are you playing hard to get?" Jane chuckled.
Lauren sighed, It wasn't that she was all that, but rather...
"What the hell are you looking at? Get your eyes of my girl!"
"Who are you?" Jane rolled her eyes, looking at the woman stomping towards them.
"Off my girl!"
"Please, I found her f-"
Jane couldn't even finish when Lauren felt herself being being pushed up against the wall, pulled in for a heated kiss. It was sudden, but still able to make her mind hazy as she reciprocated the gesture, biting her lip and smiling when the kiss was cut short, followed by muffled voices.
"Bitch, that's right! Run!" Brought Lauren back to reality, immediately placing her hand on the brunette's waist and pulling her back.
"Okay, come here." Lauren chuckled, holding the brunette by her waist while the recent "fan" started waddling away in fear.
