"You could at have least told me she didn't want to go." Paul said from the desk in front of me.

"I asked her, like you asked me to, and she said no. Happy?" He shook his head and turned straight in his seat.

The bell rang and we were almost late.

"Is mr. Conner here today?" That was Jacobs last name. I had heard Abby talking about him plenty of times to know.

"Here I am." He said walking in. "Your late." Mr. Parker said. "So what?" Jacob said.

Jacob was the average bad boy. Back talking, Party's, drinking, drugs, and more than likely tattoos and piercings. Even his leather jacket.

The teacher sighed. "Sit down Jacob." Jacob looked around the room. Trying to find an empty seat. He found one and started walking over to it.

Then I realised it was right behind me!

Fuck! This is just More drama waiting to happen.

He slumped down behind me and leaned back in his seat. Which his knees hit my back. I zipped around in my seat. He just smirked at me. "Could you be less lazy of how how you sit down." I snapped.

He rolled his eyes and sat up straight. "Thank you." I said turning back in my seat.

I could hear him shift in his seat and lean forward. "It wasn't for you baby, other girls were staring. They can't keep their eyes off me like that for I long." He whispered in my ear.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure plenty of girls are dying to get their hands on you." I said sarcastically. He laughed silently.

"Like you?"

I turned back in my seat and raised my eyebrows at him. "I wouldn't touch you if you were the last guy on earth and if I touched you it would save mankind."

He smiled. "Your good." He said. I nodded once and spread out my hands. Then slowly turned right in my seat.

After the bell rang for the class, and school, to end I sprang up and ran to my locker. This was my big day. I finally get to show off my new skateboard.

I shove all my stuff into my locker and grabbed my new skateboard. Then shut my locker and went to Paul.

I shoved it in his face. "Smell the glory." I said.

He shook his head. "Lucky. I sill have this ratty old thing." He said holding up his beaten up board. I laughed and grabbed his wrist. "Come on. We gotta meet candy there." I said.

Candy was one of our friends we met at the skate park. She doesn't go to our school. Or any school. We called her candy because of her beautiful red hair.

They called Paul the slinky. And me....they called the determinator. Because I killed it when it came to skating.

We got to the park and I made sure my grey and blue vans were tied right and put on my knee and elbow pads over my black jacket that was zipped up to the chest with white strings hanging from the hood.

I always wore these shoes and jacket while skating. It was my thing.

I started running and dropped the board, right before jumping on it. I heard all the people cheering as I did all my tricks and slid down the ramps and jumped the obstacles.

After I was done I flipped up the board. I smiled and wave to Paul and candy as candy was getting ready to go on.

I ran over towards them. "Good luck candy." I said smiling. She smiled back before jumping on her board and doing her thing.

"You kill it ash!" Paul said. I leaned my arms on the bars over the whole area. Watching candy skate.

"Thanks Paul. Your pretty good to." I said. "Yea but no where near as good as you." He said. I smiled and shoved his shoulder. "Thanks Paulnut." I sometimes called him that. Just because his name reminded me of a peanut.

Candy finished, then Paul went on. Once he was done candy left and me and Paul slowly rode home on our skateboards. It was already dark.

"So I'm still coming to our party tomorrow." He said. "No duh dipshit." I said. He laughed before stopping at his house. Which was a few houses down from mine.

"See you tomorrow ash." He said waving bye. "See ya!" I yelled as I kept going on my skateboard.

I kicked off a couple more times to I faster. I went right around the corner and crashed right into someone. I fell off my skateboard and slipped backwards. But someone's hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me up straight.

I locked eyes with Jacob conner. Fuck.

He smiled. "We seem to bump into each other a lot." He said. "Yea. I'm starting to think it isn't a coincidence." I said skating myself off and straighten out my helmet.

I picked up my skateboard and held it in between my had and side. "Trust me honey, I know you want some. Even your sister does."

"Stepsister." I corrected him. "Whatever. Anyway, I saw you at the skatepark. People were chanting denominator. And I saw why. Your awesome at skating." He said.

"I didn't know you skate." I said. "I don't. I snowboard."

"Oh...so a version of skateboarding except with snow and no wheels." He rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Or skateboarding is a version of snowboarding without snow and with wheels."

"I literally just said the exact opposite." I said.

He shook his head. I don't hunk he had any good comebacks. And from what I heard he ALWAYS had great comebacks.

"Look, I gotta roll, but I'll see you tomorrow okay? Bye". Um....okay?

"Bye." I said. He quickly walked off. I shook my head and kicked off my akateboard.
