she turned the key in the lock, sighing heavily as she walked back in through the familiar door.
meanwhile in another part of the campus
"so we agree?", nobara asked

"bets are 4:1", the brown haired girl clapped her hands together. everyone murmured in agreement except one person.
"come on, maki", panda nudged her, "you really think they won't get back together?"
"i don't", maki said hesitantly, "you know she doesn't trust him right? and we don't even know why they broke up"
"maybe you could find out for us maki senpai", megumi said quietly, "since you're the only one who thinks so"
"ugh", she groaned, "it's not like i don't want them to get back together. i just think they won't."

two days later
in principal yaga's office
"yeah you wanted to see me?", y/n asked
"yes", he replied, "i need you to go to kyoto high and have a talk with yoshinobu in my place"
"why?"
"because i can't send gojo alone"
"you want me. to attend a meeting. with satoru?", she asked, giving him a look
"please, i'm busy and you always were more mature than him. i'm sure he'll piss someone off if he goes alone."
"so you want me to babysit him?", she asked, even more annoyed now
"i'll give you a raise"

an hour later
gojo walked over to the knock on his door, mumbling in his sleep.
y/n was on the other side of the door, mentally preparing herself to see him again. it was just business. it had nothing to do with their last conversation.
"i'm sleeping, can't you tell", he groaned, when the door swung open. his sleep suddenly disappeared.
"y/n? Y/N. what the-"
"i'm supposed to come with you to the meeting with kyoto's principal", she said, folding her arms, "be ready at 3:30"
"yeah, about that", he yawned, "i told yaga sensei the wrong timing"
"you WHAT?!"
"yeah the meeting is actually in like..", he looked at the lock screen of his phone, "in 45 minutes"
