Clarke Griffin POV:
I had just broken the seal to the letter and skimmed it quickly for any confirmation that I had gotten in, my mother pacing behind my back silently, but steadily and and anxiously.Abigail Griffin POV:
I was waiting for Clarke to see if she had gotten in to her dream school since she was toddler. I was going to reach for the letter myself when her face had suddenly dropped. "Sweetheart?" I tried. She didn't answer so I did the first thing I thought to do to comfort her. I squeezed her impossibly tight and waited for her to speak. "I-I got in." She stammered. "You-You got in!!" I said that extremely proudly and I wasn't afraid to hide it because my daughter accomplished the one thing she wanted to do since she was a toddler. I knew my baby girl could do it.
Clarke Griffin POV:
Soon as I saw the very proof printed on paper that I got into the school that I had been obsessed with since I could almost walk, I was completely speechless and my mind went blank I didn't know what to think or say,or do, in that moment. It was only mom wrapped her arms around me in a bone-crushing hug that my mind seemed to work once again and I realized she hadn't read the letter and was waiting on me to say something. Once I told her I got in she was completely ecstatic. She was really proud of me and I could feel it, it was the best feeling in the whole world. After reviling in the happiness that I got into my dream school, I had gotten into my car and begun my twenty minute drive to the beach. I couldn't wait to tell all my friends the great news.Once I arrived at the beach parking lot, I parked my car grabbed my water bottle and keys then headed towards the spot friends met once at every year sometime during summer break. Only this time would be different because it may be the last time. I quickly shook the bad thoughts from my mind and practically ran towards my friends with the biggest grin on my face that everybody instantly noticed. "Princess you alright over there?" Bellamy asked concerned with the creepy grin on my face. "Little old me? Oh I'm perfect as a pear I just y'know got into the school I had been dreaming about since I was in like preschool." I stated. Everybody immediately came over to me and I was met with an unbelievable amount of "I'm proud of yous", and even more "I knew you could do it". My eyes fell on Octavia's face who was focused on the fire and hadn't said anything about the news I found out less than an hour ago. All of a sudden this huge smile was plastered on her face, dare I say largest one I've ever seen. "I guess we'll be spending a lot of time together and seeing each other more offer then." Octavia stated. It sure took me a damn second to figure out what she was talking about. But once I did I wrapped her in a hug so tight I'm pretty sure I was suffocating her. "You got in!!" I squealed. "Hell yeah I got in Griffin I wasn't going to let you live out your dream on your own." I only held her closer. Me and my best friend were going to be experiencing everything in Albany together. I didn't know if life could get better than this moment right her full of pure bliss and happiness. I had gotten into my dream college with my best friend, I had complete support from each and everyone of my friends and I knew that raven and Octavia's relationship would be okay because raven had also wanted to go to Albany and had gotten accepted to a college where some of the best mechanics had graduated, it was also only a few blocks away from me and Octavia's school. The rest of the evening was all laughs and goodbyes since we all wouldn't been together like this until God knows when. Me Octavia and Rae had all made plans to meet at the airport and take the same flight in a weeks time so that we had enough time to get used to their new surroundings. It was finally time for new experiences.
