________________________________Third Person POV:
After Lexa had her little "talk" with Clarke and left their room, Lexa was upset. She would obviously never show it to the blonde that she cared for deeply, though. After all, she barely understood why she was feeling sad in the first place. Lexa obviously understood that the blonde would need time to wrap her head around the information that had practically been dumped on her less than five minutes ago. But her sympathy for Clarke wasn't what she was really upset about. Lexa was upset by what the blonde said as she left the room. Clarke had still trusted Lexa, that was all the clarity she needed, but it did hurt when she said she didn't trust her as much as she use to.
Lexa Woods POV:
Once I got to the lobby, still thinking of Clarke of course, I decide I would earn her trust back. The sheer thought of her not wanting to be around me... or even talk to me for that matter scared me. After the lobby cleared out, it was just me and the secretary. She gave me a soft smile before getting up from her desk chair and walking towards the office right behind her. I quickly hacked the cameras from the time I got down here with my phone, and then used it to make it seem as if I was never down here. From there, I decided to call Luna and Lincoln, letting them know the situation and what had happened. They immediately asked if I wanted help but I kindly declined and said that I still had a plan to figure out, and that it was too dangerous to go back on campus anyway. Luna reluctantly said goodbye to me as I hung up the phone. After letting them know I was okay, I called in some of my agents to forge text message and computer-generated phone calls that sounded like Clarke to both Octavia and her mother, letting them know that she was safe, or whatever dumb story they made up.After I made a few more phone calls, I headed to the hotels main entrance to go to the café to get some food for me and Clarke. After getting the food, I headed towards the elevator and went upstairs. I knocked with one hand while holding the food in the other. About 10 seconds later, Clarke opened the door and let me in. I placed the food on the table and opened a chair for Clarke.
Clarke Griffin POV:
Once Lexa had pulled out the chair and softly smiled at me I saw something in her eyes I hadn't seen before, sadness. "Thanks." I said as I sat down on the chair. Her smiled only grew wider as I talked to her. "Your welcome." She said, moving to sit across from me. We had been eating for about five minutes before Lexa had started talking. "So I know that you're obviously going to need time to process all of the information... and I respect that!! I do, I just... I don't want to lose you. You see erm.. you have become important to me in a short amount of time and I-" I cut her off by placing my hand over hers. "I'm not going anywhere. As much as I have no idea what's happening, as long as your there by my side everything will be okay." I said. She smiled and said "thank you". We ate our food in silence and then decided to put on a movie to get our minds off the stressful day we've both had. It was only after the film ended, when Lexa started talking.
Lexa Woods POV:
After me and Clarke finished the movie, I decided it was time to tell her what would occur after we left the hotel. "Clarke?" I asked. Her head whipped around and her ocean-like eyes met mine as she ran a hand through her blonde hair. "So, I just wanted to let you know what would happen... after we leave this hotel tomorrow, okay?" I asked. She slowly nodded and turned the rest of her body to face me, waiting for me to start. "After we leave the hotel, there will be a car waiting for us that will take us to the airport to get back home." Her eyes widened when I said that. "I thought we were still close to the campus, where the hell are we?!?" She asked frantically while standing up from the couch. "We are in Virginia." I said calmly. She sat back down and waited for me to continue. "So when we reach the airport, we'll get on the plane and from there we will have to go to HQ." I said. I could tell she was getting nervous because she started to bounce her leg up and down, and she started to run her hand through her hair longer. So I tried to calm her down."Your mom and Octavia know that you are okay. I just need to you to meet some people that can keep you safe, and we'll need to have regularly scheduled meetings to update you on where you can or cannot go. You'll have an agent with you in the school building that is your age, to be there with when I can't and I'll still be your "English teacher" so everything will be okay." I hadn't even noticed what was happening until Clarke's arms were around me in a bone-crushing hug. She whispered a very quiet "thank you" and my heart melted. "Of course, oso throu daun ogeda." I said. "That language you speak, could you teach it to me?" She asked. I laughed, of course but not tonight. I then hugged her back and we stayed like that for what seemed like hours. She slowly pulled away, and I reluctantly let her. "We should probably go to bed." She says, softly. "Yeah, yeah you're right I'll sleep on the couch you can take the bed." I said, getting up to grab some extra sheets from the closet, when I was stopped. "It's a king sized bed, there's more than enough room for both of us. Plus, I would feel really bad if you slept on the couch knowing there was more than enough room." She said, sympathy in her eyes. "Well we can't have you feeling bad now can we?" I said while smirking. She smiled and got under the covers. I turned the lights off and slipped in beside her. Sleep overtook the both of us in a matter of minutes.
