Lexa Woods POV:
After I told Clarke that Raven worked for me, she kinda... broke. "W-what do you mean Raven works for you?" She asked shakily. "I..." I couldn't find the right words. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN RAVEN WORKS FOR YOU LEXA!" She yelled while standing up from her desk. All I did was look down. "Wow. A-and I-i thought we were getting somewhere..." She says, sounding defeated. I jerked my head up and quickly said "But we are getting somewhere Clarke!" I said frantically looking at her face. "Not like this... Not with you keeping secrets like this..." She whispered lowly and started toward the door. "I'm sorry that you can't have a normal life right now... but there's no reason to put it all on me." I said standing and walking behind my desk. Clarke turned around and looked at me with wide eyes and she tilted her head to the side. "PUT IT ALL ON YOU! YOU WERE RAISED IN THIS ILLEGAL WORLD LEXA!" She yelled as she walked until she was right in my face. I saw her cerulean eyes. She looked so... hurt... broken.
"It's bad enough you roped me and Rae into it too." She whispered while walking back towards the door. "We still have to go and meet up with Lincoln later." I called after her. She gave me a side glance and said... "I'll be there."Clarke Griffin POV:
After I had left Lexa's classroom, I WAS FUMING... but hurt. I was fuming because she should've told me that Raven worked for her the second we got to headquarters. Not to mention the feeling of betrayal from Raven for not telling me or Octavia. I was hurt because... Wait! Why am I hurt! It's not like we're together or anything! I-i just thought we were past the whole "basic trust" level of our relationsh...friendship.
I had about three hours until I had to meet up with Lincoln and Lexa, so I went back to my dorm and showered. After I got dressed, I pondered going over to Ravens college and figuring out how she played a part in Lexa's mafia or how she got roped into it. After about twenty minutes of deciding and contemplating how mad I am at her, I grabbed the keys to my car and headed towards the door. As I went to open the door, it suddenly slammed open and almost right into my face. I quickly caught the door and standing behind it was a very upset, and what seemed to be agitated, Octavia. Her mascara was ruined and she was sporting a frown, but her eyes looked like the were made of pure fire. "Hey O..." I whispered awkwardly. She just brushed passed me and ran straight to her room, shutting the door behind her.
I've known O for a long time. I also know that when she's in one of her moods... you leave her alone. "O! I know you don't want to talk right now, so I'm just letting you know that I'll be back later! Call me if there's any problems!" I yelled, loud enough so that she could hear me through her closed door. I took a deep breathe and focused on my anger towards Raven while heading out of the campus parking lot and toward her college.
Once I parked my car in the campus parking lot, I strode out of the car quickly and angrily. My blood started boiling hotter the closer I got to her. Once I was in the elevator, I made a slight attempt to calm my self down. It worked... to some extent.
I was still furious...
Once the elevator dinged I practically ran down the long hallway toward Ravens dorm. I knew she wasn't in class right now because we had all took pictures of each other's schedules in the begging of the year. I banged on the door with my clenched fist, waiting for an answer.
When Raven finally answered the door, her hair was messy, she had a T-shirt with leggings on, and was rubbing her eyes. "Jesus Christ Griffin! Why are you knocking on the door so loud! I thought the FBI was here to arrest me for my good looks." Raven said while yawning. "Ohhhhh I dunno what I'm doing here... Just wondering why my best friend would hide working in the mafia from me AND her girlfriend! Sooo... to answer your question... I have no idea what I'm doing here, Raven!" I yell while sarcastically smiling.Raven Reyes POV:
As soon as Clarke said those words... it was like time stopped. "Cl-clarkie I..." I froze. I knew that Lexa said she was working with somebody close to me and that as a precaution she wouldn't tell but... I didn't think it was CLARKE! "DON'T YOU DARE CLARKIE ME, REYES!" She yelled angrily. "Wh-why didn't you just tell me..." She said, sounding broken. "I couldn't. You know how important secrecy is in that type of business, Clarke." I said, calmly. I saw fury burn through her eyes like wildfire. She opened her mouth and I could tell she was about to yell but I put a hand over her mouth to stop her. "I know you're pissed at me right now okay?! But we can't talk about this here. Get inside if you really want to talk." I said. Clarke just bit my hand and walked inside my dorm.
I walked inside to the main room after double checking to make sure I locked the dorm.
