NEW DREAM
Once in a lifetime event, one dream, one accident and one news that made your world crash and burn within seconds of hearing what the doctor said. It took a few minutes to finally digest that you could never ever do your favorite sport, you will never reach your dream of going to this once in a lifetime tournament that was being held abroad, hell! you can't even participate in any tournaments in this lifetime.
You asked everyone to get the hell out of the room. Your family were reluctant but you were a sobbing mess "Please... Just please... I want to be alone" you whimpered. Your mom sobbed seeing her baby heart broken while your dad and your brother had a hurt expression on their faces as they walked out of the room.
The doctor looked at you with pity but it can't be helped. The surgery was a success but even with rehab, you could never do your favorite sport, Rhythmic Gymnastics. Your knee was done for when you landed on it when someone pushed you off the stairs.
Well, there were a lot of girls in the team who were very envious of you cause you were really above the rest. You had won countless of gold medals in tournaments for almost 3 years. You've even been scouted for the Japan team which caused some girls to be blinded by their jealousy towards you. You knew who pushed you and that's someone you never expected, it was your best friend, (g/n).
The pain of the fall can never be compared to the pain of being betrayed by your best friend. A lot of things were going through your mind. Why would she do that? She has always supported me through it all, so why? Why did she rob me of my dream? Did she really treat me as a friend? you sobbed as you tried to process what the hell is actually happening?
Three days ago, you were happy that you could run a damn marathon when your coach told you that you're going to be a part of the Japan team and will be flying abroad in two months to participate in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship and now, you're in the hospital bed looking at your world crumbling in front of you.
Months passed by and you could normally walk now and you would feel pain once in a while but not that excruciating pain you felt before just a bit of numbness. You graduated middle school and now you're finally a freshman in high school. Your parents were still a bit worried so they asked if you were okay with Inashiro since it's nearer to your place.
You didn't mind if that school didn't have gymnastics since you couldn't do it anyway. You've let go of that dream when you finally realized how pitiful you are crying your eyes out every night hoping and praying that a miracle would come but nothing ever came. You finally accepted it and began to move on.
Walking to school was a good exercise for you. Even if you stopped doing gymnastics that doesn't mean you should let go of your body. So you still do exercises that were approved by your doctor and walking is one of them. Plus it's just a 15 minutes walk from your place. As you arrived, you checked the bulletin board to see which class you are. You spotted your name and went on your way. Upon entering the classroom, you sat at the middle part near the window. You sighed in content as a warm breeze hit your face. It's time for a fresh start (f/n). You smiled hoping that you'll have a great time here in Inashiro.
Narumiya Mei, one of the strongest pitcher in Japan, was walking with his friends, Carlos and Shirakawa. He was a very well known pitcher and one of the top 3 aces in Japan. He was chatting away about how many girls came up to him while waiting for the two. "You extras should be like me so that the girls would come up to you too" he said smirking. Carlos just rolled his eyes while Shirakawa just ignored him like he was air. Carlos was the only one who's in a different class so they all went their separate ways. As Mei entered the classroom. He stopped in his tracks and looked at a beautiful girl near the window. "Do you see that?" He murmured. Shirakawa tilted his head in confusion before looking at where Mei was looking. He saw a girl with (h/l) (h/c) sitting near the window.
