SORRY

It's been a week since you've been fighting with your boyfriend. All because of a stupid reason actually. He was jealous of your childhood friend, Furuya Satoru. You both were on a date when someone hugged you from behind. You didn't push him off since you knew who it was from the scent of his cologne.

"It's been awhile (N/N). Imissyou!" Furuya said still not letting go. You chuckled and answered an "imissyoutoo" your boyfriend was glaring daggers at the ace but stayed quiet. You introduced them and then went on your separate ways.

Starting that day, your boyfriend has been in a pissy mood. Everything you do would trigger him to snap, he wouldn't even listen and you had enough of it. You pulled him and held his hand tightly. "Let's talk this out please? Listen to me" you were practically begging him but in the end it led to him shouting at you again and ended up worst then what it was before.

You wanted to stop this, you were at your limit. So you chased him. You hate fighting with him. You can't stand that both of you are ignoring each other and saying hurtful words that you don't mean. As you finally caught up to him. He was dazed and the green light was about to turn red but he was walking slowly. You were shouting at him but he didn't hear you as if he was lost in thought.

When the light turned red a fast car was approaching. He was about to be ran over by a car but you pushed him away. As if in slow motion he saw you pushed him, you smiled at him and mouthed "iloveyou" as you got hit by a the car and that sent you flying.

Screams could be heard and your body was laying on the ground motionless and bleeding. Finally snapped out of his trance. He ran to you and held your body near him. He was crying and shouting at you to open your eyes but you never did.

You were brought to the hospital only to be announced as "dead on arrival". You had lost too much blood and did not make it. Mukai was bawling his eyes out. Regretting not listening to you and dragging out your fight. His teammates and your family comforted him but he blamed himself.

He wasn't in his right mind. His baseball career took a huge fall. He attempted suicide by slicing his wrist good thing his team captain, Inui, came to visit him and saw this. He was then rushed to the hospital. Everyone grew concerned that he would try it again so they kept an eye on him. His family took turns watching over him not leaving his side even for a minute.

He can't bring himself to move on. Everytime he closed his eyes, he would see flashbacks of what happened. Finally he couldn't take it anymore. He asked his mother to get him a hot choco from the vending machine since he wanted something sweet to drink. That was the first time he talked and smiled again so his mother agreed and left the room, thinking that he was staring to recover little did she know that he had other plans.

He went up to the rooftop of the hospital and jumped. I can finally be with you (F/N). I'm sorry. Iloveyou.

That's the last thing he thought before everything went black.
