You're the team's baby girl, they treat you like a sister and let's say they're very very protective of you to the point that they'd do anything and everything to warn any boys from getting close to you. You're their "precious baby" that shall not be tainted. Lol sounds sweet and funny huh? But damn it was a pain in the ass.

It was the start of the new team, first years were introducing themselves one by one. You were getting the drinks for the players and as you were walking towards the dugout, you saw one first year hiding behind the storage room. He looks familiar... Where did I see him again??

Then out of nowhere Miyuki appeared beside him and whispered something which caused the first year to shout at first then nodded his head. You raised an eyebrow at Miyuki then he looked at you and grinned giving you a👌 sign. A smile went its way to your face. You and Miyuki are quite close since both of you grew up together. Your mom allowed you to go to Seido cause she knew that Miyuki was going there as well.

So back to the present, the first year made a run for it until Miyuki shouted and all eyes were on him while Miyuki snuck in the line. You giggled. He was like a deer caught in headlights. Coach Kataoka looked at you and you cleared your throat grinning at him. He just shook his head and gave Miyuki, Kuramochi & Masuko a punishment and as well as the first year, Sawamura Eijun.

Out of all the guys in the team, he was the one who caught your attention. He was noisy and stupid but you gotta give him credit for being dedicated in his position and for being hardworking. The training began and you and the other managers did your thing. Noon turned to night then practice ended.

"Senpais here are your drinks. Be sure to stay hydrated" you reminded them and they all nodded their head still huffing from all the running they did. "Thank (f/n)-chan" Tetsu said patting your head. "You're welcome captain" you said with a bright smile. Ahhh literally an angel. They all thought.

Walking towards your dorm, you were still thinking bout that first year. He looked really familiar. You just couldn't remember where you saw him. You arrived at the dorm and took a bath. Finally laying down in bed, you still couldn't get him off your mind. You groaned. I'll just ask Miyuki tomorrow I guess. Turning off the lamp beside you, you drifted off to sleep.

Your alarm went off and you stretched your arms. God I really hate waking up so early for jogging but I gotta stay fit. "Damn I'm really sleepy should I just skip jogging and just go to morning practice later?" You grumbled as you went to the bathroom to wash your face then changed into a sportswear. Walking towards the field, you came a bit early but you saw someone jogging. Looking closely it was Sawamura. You were surprised at first then you jogged towards him.

"May I join you?" You asked him and he nodded flustered. "Are you alright? Your face is red" you put a hand on his forehead and he got even redder "i-it-it's.. I'm okay" he said and you giggled. "Let's start jogging?" You said and he nodded. You both jogged and talked at the same time. So you got to know him bit by bit and finally got the answer to the question that has been bothering you since yesterday.

"You were the one who beat Azuma-senpai!" You said and he gave you a bright smile "yup. I kinda went here because of Miyuki Kazuya" your eyes widened and you giggled. "That's another addition to his pitcher collection" Sawamura looked at you waiting for you to explain. "You see, there are a lot of pitchers that wanted to form a battery with him and one is the top ace, Narumiya Mei" he nodded his head.
