SUNSET

The practice as always was pretty hard on the team but that's why they're strong. You were one of the managers of the team. Today practice ends at 5PM since coach Kataoka had somewhere to go. As you checked your watch it's 5 minutes til 5.

You readied the water bottles for them to drink. It's in the middle of summer so it's hot as hell. Finally you heard the coach called them all for a meeting and dismissed today's practice.

"Today ends practice. Be sure to cool down your body and rest. Practice will start at 6AM tomorrow." You heard various "Yes coach" then they proceeded to jog around the field for their cool down.

While waiting for them to finish their cool down, you picked up two bottles, as they finished, you passed the water bottles to the panting players but you've been looking at a specific player for quite sometime now. You snapped out of your daze and blushed when you noticed the captain smirking at you. Shit! He saw me looking at him! Oh my gosh. Kill me now.

The captain smirked and walked up to you. "like what you see (L/N)?" You faced him and smiled. "Hmmm? Not so much" he pouted. Why is he so freaking adorable! Internally screaming.

Your thoughts were cut off when he held your hand. You looked at him and raised your eyebrow. "Let's get ice cream after I finish?" Your eyes widened and laughed. "You know this is so cliche right? You asking me out with a sunset happening behind you"

The captain smiled and answered "well what can I say? I'm a very romantic guy plus my timing is always right. So will you?" You made a thinking face and he began to worry. You giggled and kissed his cheek "then make it fast captain. I'll wait for you"

He in a daze while looking at your retreating figure, until he heard the team cheering for him. Specifically he heard a "Hyahahaha! He finally had the guts to ask her out" and a "You go Cap!". You walked away with a smile plastered on your face. So corny but cute. Your giggled and looked forward to your ice cream date.
