The Pirate adventure

No, this is not a pirate AU, in this story Varian is feeling a little down so His friends decide to play a little game with him

Varian's POV

I was sitting on a bench in corona, i had a few tears going down my face, i just had a bad argument with my dad, it was over something dumb as well, i sighed then i noticed 2 of corona's ships, they had pirate flags on them, that is so weird because corona doesnt have any pirates in it, as i was about to stand up and investigate, i felt a warm pair of lips on my cheek, i turned around and saw hugo, "Hey sweetheart, wanna join the game the princess is hosting for her friends?" He asked, i nodded, he then grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the courtyard, where i saw stan, pete, red, angry, xavier, feltspar, hookfoot, shorty, lance, eugene, old lady crowley, uncle monty, Nigel, the animals and Nuru and yong. Me and hugo walked up to where Rapunzel was "Hey lovebirds, wanna get put in a draw for who the captains are gonna be?" She asked, we both nodded then she wrote both our names on 2 balls and put them in a container, after that process was done, me and hugo walked over to Nuru and yong and started talking to them until Rapunzel came on stage.

"Hey everyone" Rapunzel said, everyone stopped talking and turned her attention to her, "So today, we are gonna play a game, called the pirate game, basically there will be 2 teams, 2 captains, 2 ships, and 2 flags, we will choose 2 captains, that will each lead a team, each team will get a ship and a flag, the aim of the game is to fill out captain and crew duties while also trying to take over the other teams ship, you cant fake doing tasks, or you will be disqualified, the first team to have all there tasks completed and have taken over the other teams ship wins" Rapunzel explained, "Now we let our choosing machine pick 2 random names from the container and those 2 names will be the captains", Rapunzel then pulled the lever and when the ball was handed to her, "And the 1st pirate captain is.....Hugo!" Rapunzel announced, Everyone clapped as Hugo walked over to where Rapunzel was and stood beside her, then she pulled the lever again, and out came another ball, Rapunzel grabbed it, "Ok, this is the second Captain, and it is, Ooooh, Varian" Rapunzel said, they Clapped again as i walked over and stood beside Hugo, "Ok you 2, choose your teams" Rapunzel said as she walked over to the group and stood with them

We took turns choosing people, in the end, I had Eugene, Old lady crowly, Stan, Angry, Uncle monty, hookfoot, Pascal, Rudiger, Xavier, and Nuru, while Hugo had Rapunzel, Lance, Maximus, Nigel, Red, Hamuel, Uncle monty, Shorty, and Yong, id say these teams are pretty good, "Ok guys, now i made costumes to, all custom, so you guys go ahead and get changed" Rapunzel said, everyone grabbed there costume and walked off to find a place to change

~Time skip~

I was in a spare room in the castle, just buttoning up the last few buttons of my coat, when i heard the door open, i looked and saw hugo walking in, i smiled and he smiled back, he walked over to me and put his hands on my hips, he kissed me softly and i kissed back, when the kiss broke, we were both smiling, "So, my enemy captain, what are you doing here?" I asked, "Cant a captain see his lover before boarding" hugo answered, i giggled and nodded, "Especially when a captains lover is also a captains enemy" Hugo countinued, "Well what do you want if you win?" I asked, he smirked "if i win, you become my first mate and my groom" Hugo whispered, i blushed incredibly red, before i could respond, hugo had closed the door and left the room, i slid down the door and my face was full on red

As my face was turning into a tomato, someone knocked on the door, i opened it and there stood my first mate nuru, "hello captain varian, ready to head for the ship?" She asked, i nodded and walked out of the room and walked with my team to where the 2 ships are, i saw Hugo's team has already claimed a ship so we claimed the other one, one everyone was one their ships, both ships were sailed to the middle of the lake, and then Rapunzel Rung the bell that started the game, Our team ran over to a scroll that had a list of tasks that had to be done, i assigned everyone a task to do while i would find a way to the other ship and take it over, I walked to a rope climb and started climbing it, when i got to the top, which got me to the crows nest, i grabbed a telescope out of my pocket and used it to find good entry places onto Hugo's ship, i saw an open where there were few people, it was on the bow spirit near the front of the ship, i just had to find a way over without being spotted by Hugo or any of his crew members, i then remembered a rope on our half that i could use to tightrope over to Hugo's side, but i would have to be stealthy about it

~Time skip~

I was sword fighting with Hugo on the tight rope that i created using the rope, all tasks were done on both teams, now one of us had to get the flag to the others flag post, now here's the thing, i cant swim, i havent told anyone about it, and i am on a tall ship, above water, on a thin rope, sword fighting with my boyfriend, and i am losing, he was dodging my attacks and i was dodging his attacks, then i heard a snapping noise, and in a split of a second, i was falling into the water, but just before i hit it, someone grabbed my arm and swung me over to Hugo's ship, we both landed, i looked and it was hugo who was holding me tightly, i blushed and smiled, hugo whispered in my ear "i know you cant swim sweetheart, dont worry, your safe now", i nodded and smiled, then i heard cheering, i looked and saw Hugo's team had won the game, i looked up at hugo and he had a smirk on his face

I was kinda annoyed, he distracted me, but before i could walk off, he grabbed both of my hands and kissed my lips softly, i kissed back, when the kiss broke, we both smiled at eachother, he then walked over to his team with a smirk on his face, i was blushing a bit, then i felt something on my hand, i looked and on my ring finger was a diamond ring with a green and blue gem on it, i blushed and smiled, it was a promise ring, i looked at hugo and he winked at me, i nodded softly and he smiled,

it was super awesome
