the 1st Performance

Varian's POV

My name is Varian, I am the lead singer of a very popular band, I am in it with my boyfriend Hugo, and my best friends Nuru and yong, we've been in it for about 2 years but this is the 1st time ill be performing in my hometown, Corona, a very bright and vibrant city with one of my friends as the mayor, and this will probably be the 1st time I have seen them in 2 years.

I was sitting down on the tour bus just going through my phone when I felt a pair of lips on my cheek, I turned and saw Hugo

"Hey hair stripe, you nervous?" Hugo asked,

"A little, this is our 1st performance in corona, and I am terrified about what my friends will think" I answered

"What? Hairstripe, you don't usually care, remember when you sang born this way during pride month, and we were performing in a very Homophobic town, but you didn't care, you still sang our cover, and when half the crowd booed, you literally just walked offstage and did not care, you never care what people think" Hugo said to me

"your right about that, can we at least stop for coffee?" I asked

Hugo nodded before walking to the front of the bus, where Nuru was,

"Hey Princess, can you stop at a coffee shop? we may all need some coffee before the show" Hugo asked, Nuru nodded

Rapunzel's POV

I was sitting in my office when my husband walked in carrying something,

"Blondie, I have a surprise for you," Eugene said as he walked over to my desk

"what's up Eugene?" I said,

He then handed me an envelope, i opened it and saw tickets to a concert happening that night, it said a mystery band, that does sound fun,

"So, we have Lance, the girls, and Cass all coming with us" Eugene explained to me

"Eugene, this concert is a great idea, whos the band?" I asked

"it's a mystery but they are apparently very popular and we have front row seats" Eugene answered

"Well I am very excited," I said, I then hugged my husband and said "thank you", "anything for you," Eugene said

Varian's POV

We just pulled up to the venue,

"Alright everyone, we're here," Nuru said, I walked out of the bus and saw some technicians outside,

"Hello Varian, the stage should almost be done, you and your friends can head in and start your prepping," Our manager said

"of course, thanks," I said, I then walked in through the backstage door with Hugo, Yong, and Nuru, we all headed to where the stage was set up, we saw Hugo's bass, Nuru's drums, and Yong's Electric guitar set up already

"Wow, our techs work fast," Yong said, then my friends walked over to their instruments and started their warm-ups, I walked over to the microphone that was set up on the ramp that went out into the audience area, it was kinda like a catwalk, I started my vocal warm-ups, and after about 10 minutes of practicing, I felt a pair of hands on my hips and I turned and saw Hugo, I smiled

"Hey goggles, I think you can stop your vocal warm-ups, they want us to start getting ready, as in changing our outfits," Hugo said to me, I nodded and smiled, I walked away from the microphone and walked backstage to the dressing rooms area, I and my friends each have our own dressing rooms, I walked over to mine and closed the door behind me.
