Chapter 23

Lloyd laid out a map in front of us, "And if we do this right, we can find Master Wu, save Cyrus Borg, resucue everyone who was kindnapped, and stop Krux and Acronix. But it'll take stealth, concentration, and precise execution."

"And where does the slug fit in?" Jay looked at Cole's shoulder.

Lloyd raised a brow, "What slug?" I pointed to Cole's shirt.

Cole looked at his shoulder and screamed, "Aah! That one!" He tries to get the slug off off his shoulder, "Ew! Ew! It's so big! So gross!"

Jay, Lloyd and I lost it in a fit of laughter. Nya came up to us, "Hey, guys. What'd we miss?"

I laughed, "Oh you know, my boyfriend freaking out over a slug." Cole glared at me, causing me to smile even more.

"And Lloyd laying out the plan of attack," Zane told the two. 

Jay chuckled, "Hehe. But mostly Cole freaking out." Cole folded his arms, glaring at everyone.

I put an arm around him, "Aw don't worry, babe. I still love you." I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He rolled his eyes, "Thanks for the confirmation, but you're still mean."

I shrugged my shoulders, "Oh well."

Lloyd continued, "As I was saying, Zane will use his sensors to locate Cyrus Borg while Jay, Cole, and Shadow rescue the workers from the warehouse. I'll get Master Wu, who's probably in a holding cell. Kai and Nya, you have the toughest job: locating Krux and Acronix. So you take the map."

Kai took the map while Nya spoke, "We can do that. Right, Kai?"

Kai sighed, "Barracks....holding cell..."

"Ahem! Kai?" Nya tried to get his attention.

Kai still wasn't paying attention, "That's the mess hall and....what's this--?"

"Kai!" Nya punched Kai in the shoulder, grabbing his attention. 

"What? Yeah, yeah, we got it. Let's go." Kai spoke.

Lloyd smiled, "Remember, stealth is key! Everyone know what they're doing?"

"On it!" Cole affirmed.

Everyone nodded, saying they understood what they are doing. 

"Oh, yeah. I know exactly what I'm doing," Kai said. 

"Good luck!" Lloyd said to us all. "No pressure, but all of Ninjago is depending on us."

We all soon ran, going to the places we were supposed to go to.

Cole, Jay and I made it to our location. Cole sighed, "Hm, I don't thinnk we can go in the front door."

"Well, you know, we can, but I doubt fighting half the Vermillion Warriors is good for Lloyd's stealth plan," Jay told Cole.

"I agree with Jay. That would not be a good idea." We then ran off to find another place to go in.  

We went to the back of the building, Cole using a grapple hook to hook on the back of it. After locking it in place, we all climbed up it.  While Cole and I got to the top, the hook got unhooked and Jay started to fall, "Not good, not good, not good!" Cole and I immediately grabbed it before Jay fell any further. 

We pulled him up, Cole helping Jay get onto the roof, "Ugh! Gotta love skylights. Nobody ever things to guard them." Cole took part of the roof off, us being amazed by what we saw. We can see a lot of people working on weapons and armours.
