Lloyd and I made it to the prison. We walked in with the Noble, the man who runs Kryptarium Prison. We decided that we needed to see our dad to see if our hunch was right.
"This is our new maximum-security wing," the Noble started. "We spared no expense, I assure you."
We looked around and saw many camera and the gates that closed when we passed, "Very wise," Lloyd stated.
Noble smiled, "Yup! The entire wing was built for one purpose—" he stopped talking and scanned his eye to open up the vault in front of us, "to hold the rottenest egg of all. Well...good luck. See you on the way out." We ran out while we walked in.
I turned around and spoke, "Arent you—" the door then closed, locking and having lasers blocking the door. "Stay?"
I looked at Lloyd and sighed. He then walked over to the lever and pulled it towards him, making a bridge appear. Lloyd and I looked at each other once more before walking to our father.
"Hello, Father," Lloyd spoke.
Garmadon smirked, "Well, well, if it isn't the Green Ninja and Shadow." He threw the magazine he was reading. "To what do I owe the honor?"
"You sent for us, remember?" I told him with a raised brow. "You told us it was urgent."
Garmadon raised a hand up to scratch his chin, "Did I? Hmm. That doesn't sound like me. I have all the time in the world in here."
"Fine," Lloyd spoke out, "I'll just—" he turned away and started to walk. I grabbed his arm and pulled him back, giving him a look.
"Oh, yes. I remember now. I did call you both. Do you remember the last time we saw each other? What I said?"
The memory came flooding back into my head, "When they come, nothing will be left."
I bit my lip, "You said something was coming."
"Yes, but you didn't listen. Well, you did but just forgot since you're not under the spell of the Oni. And now, I'm afraid, there isn't much time."
Lloyd furrowed his brows, "Time for what?"
"To prepare for the darkness, destruction. The end of Ninjago. And while I'm okay with that, in principle, I'd rather not be destroyed along with you both, so I've decided to help you fight them."
"Fight who?"
I looked down, "The Oni, Lloyd. They're coming."
Garmadon nodded, "Exactly. The bringers of doom. You and your color-coded little ninja are no match for them. Shadow might be a different story since she possesses the dark and has a lot more Oni in her than you. There's only one thing powerful enough to stop them, and maybe Shadow."
Lloyd rolled his eyes, "Let me guess—you?"
He smiled, "Ah. Let me out and you might have a chance."
"Hm. How do I put this? No. N-O. Not if you were the last person in all of Ninjago. There is nothing you can say that will make me trust you again. And besides, you said Shadow might be able to defeat them. I think we have all the help we need."
My eyes went wide, "Woah woah woah. I never agreed to this. Besides, I don't think I will be enough to defeat them. My powers are literally only a fraction of what our dad's are."
"Doesn't matter, Sis. We don't need him to help us. Let's go. We have better things to do." He grabbed my arm and started to pull me away.
Garmadon smirked, "You'll be back."
