Chapter 18

We all went over the plan on what we had to do. I turned to Turner, "Thanks for coming out to help. Sucks that you have to go now."

He sighed, "I know, but I'll always be here, Gloomy. Stay safe, okay?"

I smiled, "I will."

I heard Jay yell, "Ugh, I hate to break up the reunion, but may I remind you, we have a wedding to stop."

My mother nodded, "That's right. Jay has his last wish to take the Djinn down."

I spoke, "I will also use my last two wishes, if needed, to help Jay get close to Nadkhan."

Kai didn't look happy, "But since we don't have the poison, it'll be up to us to slow him down. Come on. there's not time to waste."

Lloyd put a hand out, "Wait! If you defeat Nadakhan, his power will diminish."

Cole had a 'duh' face, "Uh, yeah, that's kind of the point."

Wu agreed with Lloyd, "Of course. Lloyd is all too right. If his power diminishes, Djinjago will fall. Ninjago will be crushed."

Kai sighed, "Even if we win, we lose?"

Soto said, "Well, whatever you decide, I sure don't want an all powerful Djinn calling the shots. You have to take him out if you have the chance."

Wu looked at us, "Ninja, you go stop Nadakhan. The rest of us will return back to Ninjago to prepare for the worst."

Jay yelled, "Ninja, go!"

I looked at Turner and winked at him before running off. We saw oncoming pirates, us waiting for Jay to give the all clear.

Jay pointed the sword, us getting ready, "Get ready."

Zane then used his ice, causing us to all start fighting. Jay then struck a pirate with the sword, causing him to chuckle, "Oh, yeah, I forgot it did that."

Jay kicked the door open to reveal four pirates manning two cannons. They started to shoot it at us, us dodging them. We ran in, hiding behind the pillars. Jay then jumped on the cannon, knocking the two out, "Ha! Two Sky Pirates with one stone."

"Jay, focus." Cole said. Cole then ran, sliding, hitting the canon, knocking the other two out.

Jay said, "The entrance to the wedding hall."

Cole ran up to Jay, "Let me help." He realized it wouldn't budge, "It's locked. And it won't budge."

"Maybe if we use all of our powers together," Lloyd suggested.

"Fire!"

"Ice!"

"Earth!"

"Darkness!"

"Lightning!"

With all of our powers together, we broke down the door.

We then heard Clancee say those dreaded words, "...and by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you all powerful."

I groaned, "Ugh, we're too late!"

"Do it, Jay." Zane instructed.

Jay started to say it, "I wish Nadakhan wasn't--" He then got cut off.

"I wish you wouldn't say that!" He prevented Jay from talking.

Kai was nervous, "Oh, no. He has infinite wishes."

Nadakahn laughed, "And I don't have to follow any rules. This feels good. Begone!" Nya then tried to attack him, but he had her go unconscious, "Careful, my love. I wish to deal with you later. Sleep."
