Chapter 3

They all swore to me. Now I can finally tell them what is really going on, "When Dad was here, I followed in his footsteps of also becoming one of Chen's people. We've been serving him for three year, and Chen sent me out on a mission, my father staying back. I didn't know how long I would be on the mission, but I knew it was going to be a long mission. Well, while I was out doing that, my father became irritated and left. He left without me, not ever coming back for me. So, Chen took me in and raised me ever since. Father did tell me, though, that he tried many times to come get me, but had no avail because of Chen's stupid army."

Jay immediately spoke, "You're telling us that you're working for Chen right now?"

I nodded sadly, "Yes, and I know what goes on underground. I saw Cole get his powers taken away, and I know what the spell is for. But please, don't tell anyone I told you. I told you this because I trust you, and because Lloyd is my brother. I told Cole a different version of the story, that doesn't involve me saying that Chen took me in. So, I want to go see him and tell him the full story."

Lloyd smiled, "Well, we will keep our promise and not tell anyone. But, what is the spell for?"

"It's to make Chen the most powerful being ever. The staff will allow him to use our elementals and use it for evil. Clouse made me vow to give my elemental powers up for him. Clouse is the only one that can make this happen, for he is very experienced in the dark arts."

Kai shook his head, "We can't let that happen! Chen will make sure that no one gets in his way. We have to make up a plan!"

I hesitated, "Yes, it would be wise to make a plan, but you guys need to act like you don't know what is really going on underground, and still act like you have a hunch on what Chen and Clouse are doing. Then, we can make a plan when the time is right."

"I agree," Jay said, "we will continue to act like we don't know."

Lloyd nodded, "Alright, it's a plan. Thank you, Shadow."

I gave him a small smile, "Of course, little bro."

We were all about to leave when I got a phone call. I freaked out when it said Clouse's name on the screen. I quickly said, "Be quiet. I will put it on speaker." The three nodded, so I answered the call, putting it on speaker, "Yes, Clouse?"

"Are you busy?" He asked on the other end.

"Uh, no, I'm not. What's up?"

"I need you to come to my study. I want you to lead the prisoners with Zugu." He stated.

"I'll be right there." I ended the call and look at the other, "I'll tell you everything that happens tomorrow sometime. I'll see you guys later."

Kai hugged me, "Be careful."

I hugged him back then Jay hugged me, "Make sure Cole is safe, would you?" I nodded and turned to my brother.

He gave me a tight hug, "It's so nice to finally meet you for the first time. Be safe, Sis."

I smiled and waved goodbye to them and I used my powers to appear in Clouse's study, "Hey."

He looked up at me, "Change into the outfit and I will take you down there." He walked out the room.

I took the outfit, changed, and then walked out the door, "I'm ready!"

He nodded, "Alright, follow me."

I walked with him down to where the prisoners were, and we met up with Zugu. Clouse said, "Shadow will be in the back, keeping an eye on the prisoners from there. You will lead them."
