Chapter 14

Turner looked at us, "This seems like some heavy stuff, but I'm glad you guys can trust me with it. I'll make sure to keep an eye out, hopefully seeing where he is."

Cole nodded, "We appreciate it, Turner."

"Of course." He looked at my arm, "What happened?"

I sighed, "While we were at Stiix, they were tying to get us. Well, they dropped one of the crane lifts down on us, hitting my damn arm in the process. We're pretty sure I've broken it. Wouldn't doubt it since I can barely move it."

"Would I still be able to fight?"

I nodded, "Of course."

Cole spoke, "But you will take it easy, okay?"

I groaned, "Fine." It was quiet and my stomach growled, my face heating up, "I'm so hungry. I'm sorry."

Turner chuckled, "Would you guys like for me to get you something, since you can't be seen in public?"

My frown turned into a happy grin, "Really!?"

He nodded, "Of course! I'm getting hungry, too, so we can all eat."

Cole smiled, "If you could, that would be amazing. Even us ghosts need to eat. Not as much, but we still do."

"Yeah, I'll do it. I just need to know where you guys are." I nodded and grabbed their hands. I used my magic and got us out of here. We appeared at the cave and he was surprised, "Yeah, no one will find you guys here. I'm surprised you even got signal."

I rubbed the back of my neck, "Me too."

"So, whatcha guys craving?"

"Pizza!!" I blurted out. Cole and Turner was shocked at my outburst but laughed. My face was a bright shade of red.

Cole nodded, "Yeah, we can do that."

"Any kind you want?" Turner asked.

They looked at me, my face still red, "I want Supreme."

Cole smiled, "That does sound good."

Turned agreed, "It does. Okay, I'll get us two large supreme pizzas and some drinks. Is Coke fine?" We nodded, "Alright. I'll be back in about, let's say, half hour?"

I smiled, "Thank you so much. Here, let me give you some money."

He shook his head, "Nope! You paid for lunch. I got dinner."

"Well, okay then." I replied.

He left and Cole and I were alone. I just chilled and sighed, "You know, all of this would have never happened if Kai decided to not be so damn fame hungry and message his fans."

"Is that why you got so mad when he brought up the fans?" Cole asked.

I laughed, "Oh yeah. It annoys the crap out of me. Like, there is no reason for him to keep doing that. We are Ninja. We don't need people to praise us. We just do what's right for the city. Kai needs to understand that. One of these days, I will be going off on him."

Cole smirked, "Oh, I can't wait for that! This is be interesting to watch."

I rolled my eyes, "Tell me about it."

He pulled up a chair beside me, "Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a ghost, ya know?"

I looked over at him, "And why's that?"

He smirked, putting his hand on my arm, casually sliding it down, "Cause I can't do what I want to do."

I blushed hard, "You're making me blush, you idiot."
