Chapter 27

The city was still destroyed. People still ran in fear. The Sons of Garmadon was still out there, patronizing the citizens of Ninjago and the Smoke in the city was everywhere. To say the least, I'm happy to see all the destruction.

I was looking out on the ledge of the building, seeing the TV go on. It was Ultra Violet speaking, "Welcome back to Ultra-Hunt. The place where hunting traitors couldn't be more fun. The game show where you, the viewer, can win cash and rewards or even the grand prize, if you help us catch the green ninja."

A citizen showed up on the screen, "I won! The made the call! I did that!"

Ultra violet continued, "Today's fugitive is the Commissioner." The broadcast then turned off.

I looked around and saw Dareth getting manhandled by one of the Sons of Garmadons. They just threw him to the ground and took his food. I closely watched him while he left, to see where the others were. I saw him go into a garage and smirked. I'll save that for myself until the time comes.

The broadcast then continued, "Oh-ho-ho! Looks like another one bites the dust. Who will be next? Ultra-Hunt!" It then turned off.

We need these people off the stupid streets. They keep interfering with our plans. The more we take out, the more we can destroy. I then saw my Dad walk up to me, "Hello, Dad."

He looked at me, "Shadow. Have you seen anything about the Ninja yet?"

I nodded, "I did see Dareth and where they went to. But, I think we should keep that between ourself so we can make a plan. Harumi may be a part of this team, but we can handle this until she's needed. Plus, we need to see how successful she can be at finding him. Though, I will say this is very slim."

My father nodded, "If you insist. I trust your judgment."

The elevator then came up. I hear two people walking towards us, so I safely assume it's Harumi and Mr. E. Harumi a voice then came out, "Emporer Garmadon and Shadow. The city-wide sweeps have proven unsuccessful."

I furrowed my eyebrows and my Fathers expression grew hard, "I don't understand. I have all the power, including my daughter, and he has nothing."

"We believe the here could be some dissenters harboring him."

I spoke, "Then we should squeeze the city until the traitors scurry out for us to crush them."

"Ninjago City has fallen. Their fear controls them. Any more could make them desperate. Desperate people take desperate actions. May i suggest something more surgical?" We both turned around and Mr. E was walking towards us, "He won't rest until he finds him, because he doesn't need rest. He's built to be a cut above the rest." Rocks fell down from where Mr. E cut them.

I looked at my Dad, "I've seen what he can do when I was still with the others. He is a worthy contender."

Garmadon nodded, "Find my son." The both bowed and they left.

"I hope Mr. E can find them. I am bored and want to hurt people."

He chuckled, "There are still citizens on the street. Go and mess with them. Or you can attack the Ninja."

I sighed, "Dad, we need to see if Harumi is even worth our time. And I still think she's not. Any who, I just remembered I still need to see an old friend of mine." I smirked and teleported to Turners house. I knocked on the door and waited.

The door opened and he smiled when he saw me, "Shadow!" His puppy ran up to me and jumped up to me. She started to lick my face. Even if there is evil running through my veins, I can't help but feel like a part of me is still fighting.
