Chapter 26

Cole and I were just walking around, taking care of the baby. Cole had ahold of him, "What do you think that baby's name is? You think he looks like a Cole Jr.?"

I rolled my eyes, "Cole, we are not naming a random baby after you. Maybe when we have kids of our own, we can name one Cole Jr."

He blushed, "You want to have kids with me?"

I blushed, too. I didn't realize I said that, "Yes, Cole."

Jay stopped working on the thruster, "I think you two  should put the baby down and help us out." He put his welding mask back down, "Okay, Zane, give it another try."

He heard nothing. Kai looked around, "Zane? Come in, Zane."

Jay groaned, "Oh, great. Now the radios aren't working." 

Soon, a growling rung out, scaring us. Cole put the baby in his sack that was on his back, "What do you think that was?" I smiled at the baby, giving him tickles. The baby then chuckled. 

Kai hesitated, "Probably just some cute little critter?"

Jay flipped out, "Or a big critter! A great big vicious critter with lots of teeth and claws and pinchers."

"You can't tell all that from how it sounds!" I yelled at Jay. 

Jay looked up at me, "Oh, yeah? If you listen real carefully..." a buzzing noise came through, scaring the shit out of us. 

"Did you guys say something?" Zane questioned. 

"Heh. Any luck reaching Lloyd?"" Kai asked. 

"Pixal and I have only been able to repair the shortwave com-link. It appears we won't be able to find them until we get the Bounty over these trees. Ready to test the thrusters?"

Cole put an arm up, "Let's give it a go!" Zane turned it on, "Ha, ha! It's working!"

Kai was in total bliss, "I'll say. Fi-ya!" It then started to malfunction, "Aah! Cut it off!"

"Abort, abort!" Jay yelled. A huge pile of smoke came out.

"Shut it down. Shut it down!" I screamed. The thrusters powered down.

Jay was beyond fed up, "That's it! I've had it!" Zane laughed at Jay's smoke covered face. "First, we crash land in who knows where, surrounded by who knows what and now this."

Cole smiled, "Well, at least Cole Jr.'s fine, so we can give the diapers to Jay."

I glared at him, "We're not naming the baby Cole Jr."

Jay gave Cole a deadpanned look, "Hi-hi-Hilarious." A crashing noise came about, "What? What was that?"

Nya flew down in Pixals' Samurai X suit, "Look what I found."

Pixal immediately spoke, "My suit! I mean....your suit."

Nya gave her a soft smile, "It's okay, Pixal." She jumped down from the suit, "It's yours now. There was a note on it from Lloyd. He and Rumi are going to the temple."

I sighed, "Then they're doing okay."

Kai sighed, too, "But we're still grounded. Let's get back to work...before the Sons of Garmadon pick up our trail."

I already knew the Sons of Garmadon was on our trail. Harumi was sketchy to begin with. If I am thinking correctly, I think she is The Quiet one. She acts like she doesn't know what she is doing, but I know she does. She's a snake in disguise. I walked up to Cole, "Cole..."
