Chapter 5

After our intense kissing session, and searching through the palace and rooms, we made our way outside.

We saw Bolobo use his vines to sink down Chen's Ferry. I honestly didn't want to question it.

We walked up to the Ninja and Cole spoke, "The palace and sleeping quarters are all clear. Still no sign of Chen and Clouse."

I sighed, "I am just hoping they don't get into more trouble."

Kai quickly asked, "What about Skylor?"

Lloyd shook his head, "She wasn't able to pick her family, but she was able to pick her friends. And since your her friend, that means so are we. We'll find her."

I agreed, "She is a really nice person. She is just like a sister to me. She would love that we cared for her, and I know she would love to be your guys friend."

"They're right. With no way off the Island, it'll only be a matter of time." Cole agreed.

Garmadon smiles, "I'm proud of you five, and you too, Shadow. You've done what the original Elemental Masters never could: stick together. But you must not rest on your laurels, for your guard is down when you sleep."

Griffen soon ran towards us with Neuro, "Chen just figured out that Skylors powers can finish the spell. She's in danger."

I covered my mouth, "I didn't think Chen would do that."

Garmadon was annoyed, "He's replaced the Elemental Staff with the Elements in his daughter."

Kai shook his head, "Were?"

"On the other side of the Island," Griffen replied.

Kai didn't think twice, "I'm going after her."

Garmadon held Kai back, "We all are. Jay, Zane, you take the mech and buggy. Lloyd, you got your Elemental Energy dragon, so I want you to take your sister, too. Nya, how fast will she go?"

"Fast enough," she answered.

Garmadon turned to everyone else, "Everyone else stay here and guard the camp. Let's get a move on!"

I ran to Lloyd and saw him spawn his Energy Dragon, "Woah, I wanna learn to do that."

He got on and helped me up, "I'll teach you one day after we're done with all this mess."

"I'm holding you onto that, Brother." We flew and saw my father fighting Clouse. I went wide eyed, "The Cursed Realm? Clouse opened it!?"

We saw them continuing to fight and we both watched in anticipation. Soon, our father kicked Clouse. We jumped off and ran to our father. We both said in unison, "Dad!" He hugged us both.

I stopped hugging him and started to feel weird.

Garmadon sighed, "I didn't see Skylor or Kai."

Shade said, "They said they were on their way."

Soon, Garmadon and I fell to the ground, us growing in pain.

Cole ran up to me, "Shadow, what's going on?"

I hissed in pain, "I don't know.
