Chapter 12

Zane spoke, "We're almost to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master."

"Yeah," Cole nodded. "Can't believe we're almost there after all we've been through."

Kai was looking out the window, "I can't believe I'm underwater."

Cole shot Kai a look, "You? What about me? Just how strong is this glass?" He tapped the glass.

I rolled my eyes, "Dont tap on the glass when we're under this much water pressure."

He backed up, giving an awkward chuckle. Wu then appeared on screen, "We're headed to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to forswear the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you five to find the Realm Crystal before he does."

Jay nervously laughed, Hehe, Cole's a ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or Elemental Powers. What could go wrong?"

My Mother then appeared on screen, "I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that makes reference to it that may help: 'A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot."

"Huh," Cole said, "That's food for thought.

I then looked over my shoulder, "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!"

Kai started to freak out, "We have to go faster! Much faster!" The Leviathan then cracked the glass, "Why did the tomb have to be underwater!?"

"Hold on!" Cole then grabbed the steering wheel, trying to advert the monster.

"Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay complained.

"We don't need weapons," Zane concluded. "Aim for that rock!"

"On it!" Cole then went through the rock, causing the Leviathan to get stuck. We all cheered.

Jay was happy, "Yeah! Alright! Thatta Boy, R.E.X! Thatta Boy!"

We drove for a bit longer, finally making it there. I sighed, "If you wanna hide a tomb this looks like a good place."

Cole nodded, "We're here."

We walked off and Jay picked up a piece of cloth, "Argh! There goes any hope Morro couldn't find this place."

Kai looked at him, "Hey, stay positive. We're about to risk our lives going through the traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other. At least feel lucky we got this far."

Jay looked at Kai like he was crazy, "Oh, I'm sorry. You're right! What was I thinking? Hey, there goes any hope Morro couldn't find the tomb! We're not alone! Yay! Now we're gonna have to fight him again! Sure, we got our tails handed to us last time, but you never know in the future, because Ninja never quit!" He went back to his normal voice after being sarcastic, "Better?"

Kai shrugged his shoulders, "Eh, I'll take it."

I giggled.

Zane pointed toward a statue, "Look!"

Cole was amazed, "The First Spinjitzu Master. Creator of all Ninjago."

"Woah," Kai sighed.

I put a hand on the statue, "Grandfather."

R.E.X spoke, "Destination reached. Auto return initiated."

"Auto return?" Jay asked. "No, no! Bad, R.E.X! Bad!" They chased after the ship, but it submerged underwater.

Zane groaned, "Our Aeroblade weapons were in there."

"Ugh, not to mention our only way back." Kai complained.
