She says when we arrive at the foot of the door, brushing Nene's hair out of her face and wiping her face with a handkerchief.

Mom:"Ara ara, soaked from head to toe. You two will catch a cold if you don't dry off. Go on and take a hot shower immediately. Ladies first, Amane."

"I know, I know."

Tsukasa:"Amane, did you slip?"

"Huh? Oh...I didn't I just sorta dropped my crutches so when I went to pick it up, I got all muddy."
I say nervously, Nene chan folding her lips.

Mom:"All that just to meet a friend? No more dawdling until you've fully recovered, got it?"

Nene:"Amane, your hair's a lot darker when it's wet huh?"
She smiles throwing a towel to me as I sit myself down.

"Ano ne, can I ask a question?"

Nene:"Go on."

"The page from my diary that you have. How come you took it?"

Nene:"I actually found it-it was a loose sheet and it was underneath your bed."

"You really are nosey when it comes to me, huh?"

Nene:"I can't help it! After all, I love you so much."

"M-me too."
My face heats up before I look down.
"I love you."
I pout.

She puts her hand on her heart and sits next to me.

Nene:"That was a critical hit. Be a bit easy on me please and woah, your face is red."

"Because It's really weird for me-saying it out loud."
I've never done it before.

Nene:"Mou! You don't have to get all shy."
Patting my head, she moves her face closer to mine.
"Amane I know you find it hard to respond to affection but, slowly but surely-I'll change that so I understand if you can't say it too often. Take your time. I can't even handle it myself."

"Thank you."

Nene:"Mm."
She says gently before we both lean in again and she kisses me but it's much softer.

Nene:"Sorry, I just felt like doing that."

"It's fine. I don't really mind. You could do it whenever you want."
I mumble.

Tsukasa:"Eh?"

"Tsukasa!?"

Tsukasa:"Ehhhhh!?

"Shhhh!"

He covers his mouth.

Nene:"Oh, Tsukasa kun-"

Tsukasa:"Y-y-you guys are practicing kissing!? Did you guys go out to do something perverted!?"
He whisper-shouts, his complexion darkening.

"Shut up, course we're not and we didn't! Keep your voice down."

Tsukasa:"But-"

"I-is it that surprising?"
Folding my arms, I stick my nose into the air.

Tsukasa:"No way!"
He hugs her suddenly.
"Does that mean we have to stop hanging out, Nene chan!? Now that you've finally..."

Nene:"Ma, ma! We'll always be the best of friends. Don't be silly."

"Ne. You don't have to cling onto her like that though."

Tsukasa:"But... wow, after all this time Amane also finally-"
