Buckbeak had scratched Malfoy's arm and Malfoy being the dramatic person he was made a whole show out of it. After Care of Magical Creatures they were in the Great Hall. "Does it hurt terribly, Draco?" Pansy asked Draco, referring to his so called injury.
"It comes and it goes. Still, I consider myself lucky. Madam Pomfrey said another minute or two, and uh- I could have lost an arm" Malfoy answered. "Isn't that right, Bennett?" Malfoy asked turning around to face Diana.
"Most likely not seeing it was just a scratch, you are just an over dramatic git. But then again, I could care less about it or you" Diana said not even bothering to look up from the pages of her book.
"He's really laying it on thick, isn't he?" Ron asked in a disgusted manner. "At least Hagrid didn't get fired" Harry said. "I heard Malfoy's father is furious. We haven't heard the end of it" Hermione said.
"He's been sighted! He's been sighted!" Seamus said as he came running in with a copy of The Daily Prophet in his hand. "Who?" Ron asked as he made his way over to Seamus. "Sirius Black!" Seamus said.
Hermione, Ron, and Harry rushed over to read the news article themselves. Harry got behind Diana, not really knowing it was her, and put his hand on the table.
"Dufftown? That's not far from here" Diana said. Hermione nodded as she pulled the paper towards her and Diana. "You don't think he'd come to Hogwarts, do you?" Neville asked worriedly.
"With dementors at every entrance?" Ron asked. "Dementors? He's already slipped past dementors at Azkaban, which is supposedly the securest prison there is. Who's to say he won't do it again" Seamus said.
Harry turned to face Seamus with a somewhat worried look in his eyes. "That's right. Black could be anywhere at any time. It's like catching smoke" Bem told them.
Diana noticed Harry tense up and she hit Bem in the arm. "Not helping" she muttered. "Sorry" Bem said and looked down at the paper once more.

The next day the kids had Defense Against the Dark Arts. A cabinet was placed in front of them and it was shaking every now and then. Diana had been in the back with some Slytherins, not intentionally. But she didn't want to we all that close to Harry after the events of Care of Magical Creatures from the day before.
"Intriguing, isn't it?" Lupin asked the class,"Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what is inside".
"That's a boggart, that is" Dean Thomas said.
"Very good, Mr Thomas" Lupin told him. "Now can anybody tell me what a boggart looks like?".
"No one knows. Boggarts are shape-shifters. They take the form of whatever a person fears most" Hermione answered. 'I could have sworn she wasn't here a moment ago' Diana thought to herself.
"That's what makes them so-" Hermione continued "so terrifying. Yes, yes, yes..." Lupin cut her off. "Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a boggart".
"Let's practice it. Without wands. please" he told the class. "After me. Riddikulus!".
"Riddikulus!" the class said in unison. "Very good" Lupin said. The cabinet shook again and had the students jump back a bit. "A little louder and very clear. Listen: Riddikulus!". "Riddikulus!" the class repeated again.
"This class is riddikulus" Malfoy muttered. "Some might say the same for your face, Malfoy" Diana told him with a fake sweet smile on her face.
The lesson went on as it should have until it came Harry's turn to step in the front of the class and reveal his boggart. Harry's boggart was in the shape of a dementor. Lupin ran in front of Harry to make sure the boggart changed it's form.
Diana watched as the boggarts changed from a dementor to a full moon.
'A full moon? Who would have their worst fear would be a full moon? Only a... a werewolf' Diana thought to herself as her eyes widened. She knew supernatural beings. So seeing that as a boggart made Diana jump to the conclusion that her DADA teacher is a supernatural being.
A werewolf teaching kids defense... Or at least that's what Diana thought.
Class was dismissed shortly afterwards. Hermione was puzzled on why her professor's boggart would be a full moon. Meanwhile Diana had already figured it out, but she still wanted to be certain of it.
Later that day the students had their Hogsmeade trip and Diana was hesitating on whether or not to go. Bonnie had signed her permission slip the second Diana received hers. McGonagall was going on about expectations and behavior at Hogsmeade. Diana had been with Hermione and Ron, although she hated to admit that she was growing somewhat closer to the two of them.
"No permission form signed, no visiting the village. That's the rule, Potter" McGonagall told Harry, who failed to get his form signed after he blew up his aunt over the summer.
"All those with permission, follow me. Those without, stay put" Filch told the group of students.
Diana was tempted to swap out her permission form with Harry's. Only because she felt bad that his two best friends were going to be having fun at Hogsmeade without him. Diana wanted to go but she thought it was better for someone with friends to go and enjoy themselves.
Before Diana got a chance to do so Hermione spoke to her, "are you okay? you seem a little, lost in thought". Diana smiled and nodded, "I'm fine".
McGonagall declined to signing Harry's form and he looked as you would expect, disappointed. "Forget about it, guys. See you later" Harry told Hermione and Ron. "Maybe we can-" Hermione began but Harry cut her off "you heard McGonagall".
Ron snatched Diana's form from her hand, "use Diana's" Ron offered.
Hermione hit him in the shoulder and sent him a look. "Uh... no. Then I'd be taking it away from her and if she got it signed it's because she wants to go" Harry answered awkwardly.
"Diana doesn't really want to go, do you?" Ron asked Diana. Diana rolled her eyes and snatched her form from his hand. "As a matter of fact, Weasley, I do" Diana told him and then walked away.
"Oh great she's back to hating us" Ron said. Hermione and Harry stared at him in disbelief. "You, maybe" Hermione muttered.
"I'll be in the common room catching up on homework. You two go on, have fun" Harry said. Hermione and Ron nodded and started walking away. "Oh and Hermione, make sure Bennett doesn't kill Ron" Harry said.
"I'll try" Hermione said as she dragged Ron along so they'd make it to the carriages in time.
'Hermione and I are trying to have Bennett like us more and become friends with her, Ron don't mess it up' Harry thought as he ran back inside, although he wasn't going to the common room.
