"You're going to the Yule Ball with Cho?" Diana asked Harry, he nodded. "That's amazing! Congratulations" Diana said and without warning hugged him. Harry hugged her back and found himself not wanting to let go of her. Until a camera flash had them pull away. "Colin Creevey?" Harry asked in slight annoyance.
Diana watched as the polaroid picture shot out of the kid's camera. "Do you really have to go around photographing my every move? Do you not have friends? Or any other activities you could be doing?" Harry asked, earning a slap on the back of the head from Diana.
Colin simply dropped his camera and ran away, mumbling a 'sorry' to the pair. "You are such an idiot sometimes, Potter" Diana said as she picked up the camera and the picture, she shoved the picture in her robe pocket. She then followed after the boy. When she caught up with him he seemed to be crying. "I believe this belongs to you" Diana said and handed the boy is camera.
"I don't need it. You can have it" Colin told the girl. "Are you sure? Because it seems you are an excellent photographer" Diana told him. "Really?" he asked in disbelief. "Of course! I have friends back home who can't even take a picture properly and you are over here nailing every photo" she said.
"Harry Potter hates me" Colin said quietly. "He doesn't hate you, Colin. Maybe try not taking pictures of him all the time unless it's for the tournament or Quidditch. It can get slightly annoying. But he doesn't hate you. If he hated you in even the slightest bit I'd punch him in the face" she said and earned a laugh from the boy.
"You are really nice. Are you sure you aren't Hufflepuff?" he asked. Diana laughed, "you know I could quite possibly be". "A Gryffinpuff" he said with a bright smile. "I love that. I will proudly be a Gryffinpuff" Diana said with a smile. "I have Herbology, I can't be late. Goodbye" Colin said and ran along to Herbology, holding his camera even closer than before.
Diana then began walking off to her own class, Transfiguration. She knew perfectly well that she was leaving Harry behind but she didn't really care in that moment. When Diana made it to class she sat down next to Hermione, who had been saving her a seat. "Where were you?" Hermione whispered. "I'll tell you after class" Diana said and then set her eyes on the board at the front of the class while McGonagall began teaching.

It had been a two days prior to the ball. The golden four were eating breakfast when mail arrived. Diana got a letter from Caroline and opened it almost immediately. The first line of the letter read:
We are pleased to inform you that you, Diana Aubrey Bennett, are invited to Caroline Forbes and Niklaus Mikaelson's wedding on December 24th.
"Oh my god" Diana said as she read through the entire letter. "What is it?" Harry asked. "My aunt Caroline is getting married" Diana said, "that's exciting" Ron said as he shoved more bacon into his mouth. "When's the wedding?" Hermione asked. "That's the problem" Diana said slowly, Hermione snatched the invitation from Diana's hand and after reading the first sentence slammed her hand on the table.
"What's the issue?" Harry asked. "The wedding's on the day of the Yule Ball" Hermione said, causing Ron to choke on his bacon. Harry hit his back until Ron recovered, he then said "but I can't show up without a date". Diana nodded slowly, "I'll figure something out". Hermione stared at the invitation again. "Why would they only just send you this now? The wedding is in two days. You'd think she'd send it earlier" Hermione said with a frown on her face.
"I'm going to write to her" Diana mumbled. The trio looked at her and signaled for her to go. "Right now?" Diana asked, "Yes!" the trio said in unison. "Alright, alright. My goodness" Diana said and then headed out of the Great Hall.
She entered the common room and flew by not noticing the pair on the couch... when upstairs she pulled out a piece of parchment and pen, she then scribbled:
Aunt Caroline,
I just received your wedding invitation. Congratulations!! That's amazing, Care. I'm so happy for you. Is there any other possible date for the next wedding? The dance is on that day and my friends really want me to go. Of course I much prefer your wedding but I can't abandon my friends on Christmas Eve...
Please write back soon,
Diana. She stared at the letter on her hand debating whether or not to send it. Diana thought, 'Was I really going to mail this? Of course Caroline's wedding was much more important than a dance. But Hermione wants me to go and I promised Ron I'd be his date so he wouldn't go alone'.

Diana made her way to Transfiguration. She entered the classroom and immediately took a seat next to Hermione. Sitting behind her were Harry and Ron. "Well?" Hermione asked in a shughed voice. "I sent her a letter. My aunt Caroline is quite quick with writing back so I think it'll be fine" Diana told Hermione.
Ron had been listening in and exhaled. "Oh thank Merlin" Ron said as he stopped gripping onto the quill in his hand, which had broke thanks to the pressure. "Hermione, can I borrow a quill?" Ron tapped her shoulder.
Hermione scoffed and dug through her bag and handed him one of her spare quills. "Don't break that one" Hermione said. Ron nodded and snatched the quill from the girl's hand.
"So, you'll be attending the ball?" Harry asked Diana. "Most likely. That is if my aunt decides to move or postpone the wedding. But I don't think her fiance would want that. He's rather... impatient" Diana replied.
"I think the wedding can wait a day" Ron scoffed. "He's been waiting for this since-" Diana said and paused not wanting to reveal a secret that isn't hers."He's been waiting a long time and although he was patient with her I doubt that-" Diana said forgetting she was in class. None of them realized McGonagall was standing right next to them.
"Bennett, Potter, Granger, and Weasley. Mind sharing to the class what is so important?" McGonagall asked with a raised eyebrow as she looked at the four kids.
When none of them answered McGonagall said, "seems very entertaining seeing as you three are very focused on Miss Bennett's story than class".
"Sorry, Professor. I was talking about a minor conflict that arose and that led to another subject... I didn't mean to take time away from the class" Diana said. McGonagall wouldn't want to admit it but she had grown somewhat of a soft spot for Diana after an incident that happened in second year.
"Five points from Gryffindor from interrupting the class" McGonagall said as she walked back up to the front of the classroom. Hermione huffed, not liking the idea that she lost Gryffindor 1.25 points on her behalf.
"As I was saying," began McGonagall but Diana seemed to have zoned out...
"Hope?" Diana asked as she walked up to the youngest Mikaelson. Hope stumbled and almost fell to the ground, had it not been Diana who dropped her glass to catch the girl. As the glass hit the ground it felt as if the sound amplified.
"It's alright. Just a little to much champagne for a sixteen year old" Freya said as she helped Hope sit down. "Diana? Are you alright?" Lizzie asked as she walked up to her best friend. "The glass" Diana said. "Yes, you dropped it..." Lizzie said slowly.
"Diana" Hermione said as she snapped her fingers in her friend's face. "You're supposed to be following along" she said. Hermione slid over her notes and Diana copied them. "Thank you" Diana said quietly. Hermione nodded and turned back to the front of the class.
"Are you alright?" Harry asked, leaning over his desk. Diana nodded, although Harry wasn't convinced.
"Mr Potter!" McGonagall said as she face palmed. "Sit down, properly. You'll have time to discuss whatever is going on later. Preferably when class is over" McGonagall told him. Harry nodded with a sorry expression on his face as he sat back down.
'What the hell was that?' Diana thought referring to what she had just seen in her mind. Diana's thoughts traveled. 'Grams had told mom that she was a physic... could that be what I just experienced? Visions?' Dian thought.
Harry noticed Diana's strange behavior and wanted to say something but did not want another glare from McGonagall.
