It had been the next morning, Diana had been reading a letter Caroline sent her but as she finished reading she crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. She hadn't bothered responding to Damon and Caroline's apology letters. She hadn't been having visions thanks to Freya's mind spell on her which Diana had asked Hope to undo, but Hope didn't know the spell.

She was snapped from her thoughts when she felt a hand on her thigh. "Are you alright? You look upset" Harry asked her. "I'm fine. I'm just mad that I haven't been having my visions thanks to Freya's mind block" Diana said.

"Have you tried reversing the spell?" Hermione asked. "Only a witch of the bloodline who cast it can undo the spell. I asked Freya's niece, Hope, to help me but she doesn't know the spell. She offered to learn it but things in Mystic Falls got a little out of hand recently" Diana said.

Laughter all of a sudden arose and the trio turned around to see Ron entering the Great Hall in his Quidditch uniform. Diana had begun to cast her go to fire spell but Harry squeezed her thigh slightly as a signal to not burn anyone's face off.

Ron sat down next to Hermione and stared blankly at his plate. "How was it?" Ron asked. "How was what?" Hermione asked, not following his question. "Your dinner party" Ron said in his "duh" tone.

"Pretty boring, actually"Hermione shrugged. "Speaking of the dinner party, where did you go afterwards?" Harry asked Diana. "You didn't come to the common room afterwards nor did I even see you walk back with me" Hermione then said.

"I was in the Slytherin common room" Diana answered. Having Ron choke on his orange juice and Hermione stare at her in disbelief.

"You what?" Hermione asked, astonished at the fact that she was going through with Ron's idea. "Blaise Zabini took me to the Slytherin common room where I simply exchanged brief dialogue with Malfoy" Diana said, she played it off as nothing.

"What did he say? Anything that proves my theory?" Harry asked somewhat rushed. "It was vague. But, no, he didn't" Diana answered.

Hermione could tell that Harry was about to pry every last bit of information out of his girlfriend, so Hermione changed the subject, "I heard Slughorn's having a Christmas party". No one said anything, which lead Hermione to say, "and we are meant to bring someone".

"I suppose you'll be bringing McLaggen. He's in the Slug Club, isn't he?" Ron asked, receiving a kick from Diana. "Actually, I was going to ask you" Hermione said as she looked up and saw Diana nodding subtly.

"Really?" Ron asked in a disbelief state. Before anything else was said Lavender had come up and tapped Ron on the shoulder, "good luck today, Ron. I know you'll be brilliant" she said rather harshly.

"I'm resigning. After today, McLaggen can have my spot" Ron shook his head as he face palmed. "Not this again," Diana shook her head, "you aren't quitting. No. It's not an option". Ron stared at her blankly, "there's always another option" Ron stated. "Yes, but not one that involves you quitting" she told him.

"She's right, you know. Especially with that something being what Harry slipped into your drink" Ginny said, as she was sitting next to Luna, the two of them practically eavesdropping. "Is it atonic?" Luna asked.

Harry put the vial of Felix Felicis back in his pocket, only Diana noticing that it was still full. "Liquid luck?" Hermione asked, to which Harry nodded. "Don't drink it Ron!" Hermione pleaded, but Ron ignored her and drank it anyway.

"This will be good" Ginny smirked as she went back to her conversation with Luna. "You could be expelled for that" Hermione warned Harry. "I don't know what you're talking about" Harry shrugged.
