Diana and Harry, both still cloaked thanks to Diana's magic, had been watching and listening to what was going on above them. Bellatrix had come to see her nephew do as tasked, though Malfoy himself seemed to be struggling to saw the two words to get it done and over with.
Harry pulled out his wand and aimed it at the Slytherin boy. Diana's invisibility spell seemed to be failing as she was having a vision, which she hadn't had in months, happen. She couldn't have the invisibility spell she cast on Sirius Black, the current spell, the four barrier spells on each house's entrance, and her visions going all at once seeing as that much magic could kill her.
Diana reversed her current cloaking spell. Harry unsure why she had done this, looked worried but she was also more focused on what was going on above him to ask what was wrong.
Unlike most times where Diana saw things all she saw was darkness then followed by once simple sentence that shattered her soul completely. "Bonnie's officially gone" was what Diana could only hear Caroline Forbes said.
Diana froze as she opened her eyes ad saw Snape pointing his wand at Harry. Snape glared at the two students yet also signaled for them to be quiet. Snape then walked up to where Malfoy failed to do as told, and Bellatrix scolding the boy over it.
Diana tuned everything out. She saw the bright green light but didn't react to it as she knew it was bound to happen. The Death Eaters vanished into their black smoke. Harry bolted out of the tower leaving Diana there.
Diana didn't saw or do anything. As much as she hated the idea of what she heard Caroline say, she knew it was true. What she had just felt was death. Pure death. Only one thought roamed around in her mind. 'I didn't get a chance to say goodbye' Diana thought as she felt her knees buckle and she fell to the ground, instantly bursting into tears.
"I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to my mom" Diana mumbled out loud. "She's dead" Diana mumbled. "My mom is dead. I wasn't even there in her final moments. I know nothing. She's dead" Diana kept mumbling to herself. Tears nonstop streaming down her face, only stopping when the ruined mascara got in her eyes and made her eyes sting.
Diana walked out of the Astronomy Tower, cloaking herself with the invisibility spell. She roamed around the corridors, mumbling the spell to undo the barrier spell she cast on the four houses's common rooms. She walked into the closest girl's bathroom and washed her face, walking out afterwards and heading to the forbidden forrest.
She made it to the forbidden forrest, in the middle of it all. Her hands formed into a tight fists as she exhaled, remembering what Lizzie had told her to do if she ever felt like losing control or felt herself on the urge of an episode.
Diana screamed. That's all she did. Her scream was clearly filled with pain, any and all pain she had bottled up all year. Her scream, not just pain filled but also magic filled. All the trees surrounding her were blasted back, if it weren't for her magic control the trees would have come falling down.
She only stopped when she felt herself not being able to scream any further. She walked back to the castle, her eyes puffy, her throat hurting, and feeling a void in her. The dark skies slowly turned golden as the sun arose, Diana had found herself in the Astronomy tower once more.

It had come the next day, the Golden trio found themselves at the Astronomy tower as well. Hermione and Harry talking briefly while Ron sat on the steps a few feet behind, Diana beside him. As usual Diana found herself lost in thought, all events seemed to be a blur.
"R. A.B? What's R.A.B?" Hermione asked as she finished reading a note that had been in a fake Horcrux that Harry had gotten with Dumbledore hours prior. "I don't know" Harry responded, "whoever it is probably has the real Horcrux" Diana mumbled.
"We all known you'll be the one to figure out who R.A.B is. You're the one with theories and they are always right" Ron told Diana, trying to get her to cheer up. He had no idea why she was upset, and she didn't tell him nor Hermione, who had asked her moments ago.
"No because it was all a waste. All of it" Harry said. "So, what? You all of a sudden want to give up?" Ron asked Harry. "I want to finish what Dumbledore started. Even if it means I won't be back next year. I don't know where it'll lead me but I'll tell you all where I will end up" Harry said.
"Dead. You'll end up dead if you go out on a deadly scavenger hunt alone" Diana spoke out. "You can't possibly be thinking about joining me. It could be dangerous" Harry said. "I've admired your courage, Harry. But you can be really thick headed sometimes. I've told you before, we're in this together" Hermione told Harry.
Harry turned to face Ron, "til the bitter end" Ron told Harry. "You don't really think you'll be able to find all these Horcruxes by yourself, do you? We'd need all are intelligence and then some" Hermione reminded Harry.
"You need us, Harry. You can't do it alone and you know it" Ron told the stubborn raven haired boy. Harry turned to Diana, wanting to know what she thought.
"It's clear you'll need assistance, this isn't exactly an easy task. You're looking for Horcruxes not easter eggs. It's definitely best that Hermione and Ron go with you. You three are infamous for this kind of thing" Diana said, a smile forcing itself on her lips.
"We need you too. You know that" Harry told Diana. "When we first became friends I told you we'd never abandon you. You can't abandon us, it wouldn't be fair" Hermione reminded her, a playful tone slightly being heard.
"I think it's best if I don't just go running head first into this sort of thing right now. I don't want to be a burden of any kind... but believe me, I'll find my way back to you three" Diana said. Ron held Diana's hand momentarily, "promise us that you will find us. No matter where we end up" Ron said.
Harry thought for a moment, "promise me this is forever. All four of us, together. One way or another, always. That the next time we step foot in this castle it'll be the four of us up in the Astronomy Tower. When this is all said and done. Promise me".
"I promise" Hermione, Ron, and Diana all said in unison.
Just as they said that a Phoenix flew past them. Ron and Diana standing up to see it fly away. The four of them stood side by side as the watched the bird fly away. Harry exhaled, "I never realized how beautiful the view is up here".
