Safe to say that Umbridge's detention was a full blown hell. All the members of the D.A were in there for hours on end multiple times to serve their punishment. The enchanted quills kept digging farther into the kid's skin as the continued writing. The only difference between Diana's and everyone else's is that she had to use two quills and two pieces of parchment at the same time. The second quill had been giving her daymares while she write with it but every time she stopped writing from the pain Umbridge would add another 20 minutes of writing for her.

Luckily it was the last detention. Everyone stormed out of the Great Hall once the detention was done and over with. Cho Chang had been standing guiltily at the entrance. Everyone walked past her not bothering to bat an eye and some students, Ginny, would "accidentally" shove pass her.

Diana got up from her chair but almost instantly fell, Ron managed to catch her so she didn't hit the ground. "Are you okay? Do you need to go to the nurse? You look lightheaded" Ron asked, "I'm fine" Diana lied as she got up.

"You are not 'fine', Diana. What does the second quill she makes you use do?" Hermione asked as she helped her best friend up. "Basically gives me daymares every time I write" Diana answered. "And with your visions that much make it worse" Hermione said worriedly.

"Careful" Ron said as Diana almost fell again. "I'm trying" Diana muttered. "You're going to the nurse before you pass out on us" Ron told her. "Ron, Hermione, we have to-" Harry said from the entrance but cut off as he saw Diana being held up by Hermione.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Harry asked Diana. "Does she look okay?" Ron asked rather annoyed. "It's Umbridge's stupid daymare quills, that plus her visions are making it worse and making her dizzy and-" Hermione said.

"Daymare quills? What's that?" Harry asked. "Exactly what it sounds like. The more I write with them, the more intense my daymare becomes. I mainly see my friends and family back home being killed in any and all ways possible. It's horrible and it makes me feel like i'm going to pass out the more I write but if I stop writing Umbridge just makes me write more" Diana explained.

"That's why she had you stay after the first night we got detention" Harry said slowly. "And you didn't tell me?" Harry asked rather hurt, "I didn't want to make a big deal out of it" Diana said. "Big deal? Diana this is-" Harry said but before he could finish Diana had fainted. Hermione had been holding her up so out of instinct Hermione slowly fell to the ground with Diana.

"And, she's out" Ron sighed. "I really wish I could punch a teacher" Ron muttered. "Yeah, cause your fists do the talking for you" Harry mumbled, earning a glare from Hermione. "Enough! One of you has to carry her to the infirmary" Hermione said.

"I'll do it" Ron said and got down to pick Diana up bridal style. Hermione grabbed Diana's bag and swung it over her shoulder.

The pair began walking out while Harry stood idly by. "You two might not be one the best terms but you should at least come with us" Hermione told Harry, who started following after them, as if he needed permission.

After they took Diana to the infirmary, they were kicked out by Madam Pomfey who said she needed to get some rest and they could visit the next day. The three were not happy to hear that but they didn't bother arguing. Instead they walked out of the castle, in need for some fresh air.

"Nobody saw this coming, Harry, not even Dumbledore. If it's anybody's fault, it's ours" Hermione finally broke the silence. "We talked you into it" Ron said. "Yeah but I didn't have to agree, but I did. I tried so hard to help but instead all I did was make things worse" Harry said.

"That last sentence... is it about the D.A or about you and Diana's relationship?" Ron asked rather carefully. Harry let out an exhale as his gaze drifted to anywhere but Hermione and Ron.

"Both? If that's an option. I'm just so mad at myself for what I did and said to her. I never wanted to hurt her but I did and I hate myself for it" Harry told his friends. "Can I ask you something, Harry?" Hermione asked. "What is it?" Harry asked.

"Do you love her?" she asked Harry. "Of course I love her, Hermione. I'm in love with her. That's what makes this even worse" Harry didn't hesitate to tell her.

"Well, then you have to fix things by any means possible" Ron told him. "How? She hates me" Harry sighed. "Quite the opposite if you ask me" Hermione said, to which Harry gave a confused look.

"Mate, we've seen the way you've looked at her since the end of third year. And Hermione and I, we are your's and Diana's best friends plus avid lovers of your relationship. Those three words you just said you feel for her, tell her them. I can guarantee she'll say them back and then all you have to do is apologize and she'll forgive you, eventually..." Ron told Harry.

"And here I thought you hated me as well" Harry said. "You kissed my sister while dating my best friend... of course I was pissed off. But, hate you? Never" Ron answered. "You punched me in face... repeatedly" Harry said slowly. "You deserved it. But, it's over and dealt with now" Ron said.

"Back to the Diana thing," Hermione began, "It's obvious she's upset and hurt, which she has every right to feel, but, the great thing is that you regret your choice and can own up to your mistake and apologize. You just have to do that. Once it's said and done you can become friends again or start dating again, that part's up to her".

"Psst" was heard from a distance. The trio turned their attention to the voice and saw Hagrid signaling for them to follow him. They made their way to the forbidden forest but Hagrid hadn't told then what was going on.

"Hagrid, where are we going?" Harry asked. "-the ministry's going to have a full uprising on their hands" Hagrid said, the first part of his sentence wasn't audible seeing as a pack of centaurs had run past causing lots of noise. "Hagrid, what's going on?" Hermione asked.

"With Dumbledore gone I might be getting sacked any day now... and you three are my only friends and- I couldn't leave without telling someone about him" Hagrid said, "I wanted to tell Diana as well, she had actually helped me with some Nifflers the other day and even managed to cast a spell so I could see Buckbeak again".

"When did Diana do this?" Harry asked. "She's been coming over most afternoons after winter break" Hagrid answered. Somehow hearing those words made the trio feel guilty.

"Anyways, this is who I wanted you guys to meet" Hagrid said as a giant arose from the ground. "Robbie" Hagrid said, the trio looked stunned and were frozen for a moment. As the giant moved forward, the trio moved back. "Robbie, I've brought you some company" Hagrid said.

The giant got all excited and started walking towards the group and the began running back. But the giant got held back by a rope it was tied to, and that relieved the trio. "I couldn't leave him. He's like my brother" Hagrid said, they nodded slowly as they starred at the giant. "Oh, don't worry. He's completely harmless".

This was said two seconds too soon seeing as the giant picked up Hermione as if she were a barbie doll. Hermione let out a scream as she was terrified even if the giant was harmless. "Hagrid, do something!" Ron shouted.

"It's not polite to grab someone like that, Robbie. We talked about this" Hagrid shook his head. "that is your new friend Hermione. Put her down" Hagrid continued but Robbie wouldn't do as told.

Ron looked around a found a big enough branch and tried hitting the giant with it but it didn't work. "Where is Diana Bennett and her fire spells when you need her" Ron groaned.

Hermione inhaled and then said, "no! Put me down. Now". Her voice was so sharp and demanding that the giant got scared and out her down then took a step back.

Hermione walked back to Ron and Harry. "Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" Ron asked. "I'm alright" Hermione answered. Harry starred at the giant as he tuned out his friends who were right beside him.
