That night Harry had been staring at the Marauders Map watching Malfoy's name roam around the map. Harry wasn't a big fan of what Ron suggested Diana to do but he knew that wasn't his choice to make. But what he did want to do was figure out was going on before Diana got involved. He would hate if something happened to her.
"I'm mean, I guess it's not an awful match. He's brilliant" Ron mumbled. "Dean?" Harry asked. "You do realize you called him a slimy git a few hours ago" Harry reminded him. "He was running his hands over my sister. It was nauseating" Ron said.
"What does he seen in her?" Ron asked. "You do realize you sound like a jealous ex, right?" Harry laughed subtly. "That's disturbing to think about" Ron said as he threw a pillow at Harry.
Ron inhaled and slowly exhaled. "I know this is not the best question to ask but, why did you kiss Ginny? I mean, did you ever have feelings for her?" Ron asked carefully, "I-" Harry was cut off, "careful with your choice of words" Ron said in a threatening tone.
"I never have, no. Not for any particular reasons but I just never saw us working. I kissed her that day mainly because I was frustrated and was confused... I had no idea what I was doing until I did it and then she slapped me back to reality" Harry said.
"She is smart, funny, and a great Quidditch player, if that answers your first question. I don't think she wants to be with Dean though" Harry said. "Then who?" Ron asked. "I can't say" Harry responded. "Why not?" Ron asked him. "Because I'm not certain. But if I am correct, then it's her choice who she tells and when" he told the red head.

"Diana?" Hermione asked as she closed her book. "Yeah?" Diana asked, the girls had been in the empty common room and with the pause in dialog it got very quiet very fast once more. "Can I ask you a question. Answer me truthfully, please" Hermione said.
"Have you ever had feelings for Ron?" Hermione asked. "No" Diana answered with no time to spare. "I only began being friends with you all in third year, and even then I knew how much you cared for him. I know you have feelings for him and I would never go after someone who my best friend has feelings for" Diana told her.
"He had feelings for you. I think it's rather obvious" Hermione mumbled. "He was idiotic enough to blurt that to the entire Potions classroom, but, he did also spell your perfume in the love potion" Diana reminded the bushy haired girl.
Hermione's face blushed a pink color. "It's about time you tell him how you feel" Diana said, "maybe after the next Quidditch game" Hermione nodded.

A few nights passed and it was Slughorn's dinner party. Hermione, Diana, and Harry were there along with Cormac, Neville, Blaise Zabini, and three other students that were more or less irrelavent.
They had been eating Ice Cream for desert and talking about their families, everyone there was Pure or Halfblood other than Hermione. Diana noticed Blaise staring at her, but not in a glare as most Slytherins would have done, but instead looked as if he were examining to find some kind of flaw.
Sooner or later Blaise gave up and began paying attention to the conversation. But as Harry feared it was Cormac who kept eyeing her, at one point he licked ice cream of his fingers seductivly to which she mumbled a spell and had the ice cream bowl, which still had a decent amount of Ice Cream in it, "accidently" fall on his lap.
Blaise noticed Diana had something to do with that but also saw she had no wand in sight. This intrigued him and he was thinking about a couple incidents were things had hit, fallen, or spilt on Malfoy while Diana had be around. Feeling as though he was fuflied with some blank knoledge, Blaise grinned.
That moment Ginny walked in and all eyes fell on her. She looked as if she had been about to cry, to which Diana signaled for Ginny to come over and sit next to her. Ginny gladly sat down next to her and conversation spiked up again.

When the Dinner Party was over everyone began leaving the room, other than Harry who stayed behind. Diana didn't make it four steps out of the room before an hand grabbed her forearm and began dragging her towards the Slytherin common room.
Diana did as insinct and punched with her free hand, as Damon taught her. To which Blaise let go of her forearm and put his hand on the side of his face. "What the fuck?! I refuse to say you hit like a girl... because you don't. That hurt like hell. Where did you learn to punch like that?" Blaise asked.
"It was out of instinct. Now, why were you taking me to the Slytherin common room?" Diana asked. "You aren't going to assume I hate you because I'm a Slytherin Pureblood and you're a Gryffindor Halfblood?" Blaise asked surpised at how she hadn't asked like most people would have.
"No. That's stupid house and blood status prejudice that I don't give a fuck about. Slytherins may be known for their hatered for people who aren't in their house or who aren't Pureblood, and maybe that is true for the majority, but, not all Slytherins should be burdend with that because I know for a fact there is more than one Slytherin who doesn't think like that".
Blaise stared at her blankly for a moment. "I'm sorry what house are you in?" Blaise asked. "Gryffindor" Diana answered. "Right... so anyways, Malfoy wanted to talk to you and he asked me to bring you to the Slytherin common room" Blaise said.
"You couldn't have just told me that instead of dragging me away as if I were about to be kidnapped?" Diana asked. "I wasn't sure you'd see him willingly" Blaise shrugged. "Fair enough" Diana said as they began walking to the Slytherin common room entrance.
Malfoy had been seated on the black common room couch, reading some old looking spell book. "Hi?" Diana said as she was rather confused on what she was doing in the Slytherin common room. "Why do you sound surprised?" Malfoy asked as he looked up and saw the Bruentte Gryffindor girl.
"Because I am surprised. Now, why did you want to talk me?" Diana asked. "Because you know" he asnwered simply. "I know a lot of things. You'll have to be more specific" Diana said. "Snape told me that you had said that I was the one who cursed Katie Bell".
"Is this some kind of confession? I mean, yeah I did, but, I didn't accuse you of it. I said that I saw you walk out of the Three Broomsticks with a girl and you seemed to be in a rush" Diana said.
"Has anyone ever told you that you are very controversial?" Malfoy asked. "Once or twice" Diana said. "I know your little boyfriend had his suspicions about me. He spied on me on the train and accused me of cursing that girl. Tell me, do you believe him?" Malfoy asked rather sternly.
"You'll have to be more specific. Do I believe what?" Diana asked, knowing exactly what he meant.
"Do you think I am a Death Eater?" Malfoy asked. "Are you one?" She asked. "Answer the question" Malfoy said, as he rolled his eyes. "I don't have any proof you are one. So, no. No I do not" Diana answered.
"What if you are wrong?" Malfoy asked. Diana exhales and thought for a moment. "Then that'd be a problem on its own" She answered.
"If I showed you that I had a Dark Mark on my arm, what would you do?" He asked. "What are you trying to achieve from this conversation?" Diana asked. "I want to know if I can trust you" he shrugged. "You've hated me since I can remember. Why would you all of a sudden want to trust me?".
"I never hated you and you know that. It's obvious I don't trust your friends, I hate them, that's for sure" Malfoy said. "How do you know I won't go telling them this entire conversation we are having?" She asked. "We both know you wouldn't do that. Despite what your friends think you don't tell them everything. Why would you tell them about this? It's mainly just vague conversation".
Footsteps were heard coming down the staircase, Diana took the opportunity to leave. The second she was out Blaise walked over to Malfoy. "Were you really about to tell her?" Blaise asked.
"Yes. The Dark Lord wants me to keep an eye on her and find out exactly how she does magic of her own. That Bennett girl could make things a lot easier" Malfoy said.
