The next day when Hermione, Diana, and Ginny were walking down the stairs to head to the Great Hall for breakfast when they saw Dean on the couch. Turns out Harry, Ron, Neville, and Seamus kicked Dean out of the dorm room after what Dean did and said to Ginny.
Ginny flicked him off as she walked past him, while not bothering to bat an eye. Hermione rolled her eyes as she dragged Ginny along. "Motus" Diana whispered and had Dean fall face flat on the ground, a grin forming as he heard him groan in pain.
When the girls made it to the Great Hall, Ginny sat at the Ravenclaw table with Luna while Hermione and Diana sat with the boys. Ron looked down at his hand, the same one he had punched Dean with, somehow doing that alone made Ron's blood boil once more.
"I knew he was a slimey git. He really thought he'd be able to get away with such a thing? Rubbish" Ron muttered. "He should be glad Fred and George graduated already or else he would have had to deal with three overprotective brothers" Ron continued.
He then noticed a certain green tied blonde staring at Diana. Ron would have gotten up and punched him if it wasn't for Hermione who stopped him. Harry looked to see what Ron was riled up about and saw Malfoy's gaze immediately shift down. "I still have my suspicions on that one" Harry muttered. "Have you been getting closer to him at all?" Ron asked, to distract himself.
"A little, yeah. But barely" Diana mumbled as she placed her palm on the side of her face and closed her eyes. "Are you feeling alright?" Hermione asked, to which Diana nodded. "Are you sure?" Harry asked. "Yeah" Diana mumbled but it was barely audible.
Diana barely heard the next words that came out of Harry's mouth seeing as she found herself in an all white room. Nothing in sight and not a single sound echoed. Diana didn't understand what was happening or why. She assumed it was Hope Mikaelson trying to break Freya's mind spell on Diana but if that were the case Diana would be seeing something. Here she saw white.
"Hello?" Harry said as he waved his hand in front of Diana's face, yet she didn't open her eyes. "Maybe she's having a vision?" Ron assumed, he said it quietly enough so only the two friends heard. "She hasn't had them in a while. She had told me a witch blocked off that part of her" Hermione shook her head.
Diana's eyes slowly opened, only difference was that her eyes were a vibrant blue apposed to the normal brown color. This caught the trio off guard, "Diana?" Ron asked slowly as he waved his hand in front of her face, only for her to grab his wrist and twist it around to a point where she could have broken his wrist.
Hermione tried prying her hand off Ron's wrist but she wouldn't let go and then only ended up doing the same to Hermione. "Ventus" Diana mumbled and sent both Ron and Hermione flying back. This grabbed everyone's attention seeing as no one knew what was going on. Diana's eyes quickly shifted from blue to brown and only then saw her friends across the room.
"What was that?" Harry asked as the two got up and rushed to Hermione and Ron. "I don't know. I'll find out though" she said. Harry helped Ron up and Diana helped Hermione up. "I'm sorry. I don't know what happened or why I did that" Diana told her closest friends, who forgave her as the knew she wasn't in control of her magic.

Diana had been in the common room, reading ancient legends about blue enchanted flames or anything similar that she could find. Thanks to Lizzie breaking into the restricted section of the Salvatore Boarding School's library and sending Diana any and all books that could help.
From what Diana had gathered is that her powers aren't like Bonnie's as much as she thought. They are more emotions based. Especially when it comes to anger or sadness. It had been seen that a Bennett witch from the Mikaelson's timeline, in the 1000s, had the same powers Diana had. 'That would explain it. An ancient ancestor?' Diana thought as she flipped the pages and found a page on one specific Bennett witch.
Aurelia Bennett had been one of the most powerful known witches of the 1000s. Guided by all things good and positive, Aurelia was a well like woman in her village. She would often give gifts of nature and love. It was only known by Aurelia and her family that she had a different kind of magic. A darkness within that was being hidden by the positive.
When an overly strong and special vampire raided the village Aurelia lived in and loved, killing every last person to live in the village, Aurelia sunk into anger and distrust of anything. These new, darkened, and what seemed t be heightened emotions, brought out the worst in the witch. Soon she was known as the Sapphire Spawn, seeing as her vibrant blue eyes and ability to manipulate fire by having it turn the same shade as her eyes made her seem like a devil's spawn.
Aurelia was killed ten years after her rein of terror and destruction, having killed thousands of people in her Sapphire Spawn stage. It was never confirmed as to who killed her, but it is thought to be the same special vampire who once killed her village. It had been come to say that when a witch of Aurelia's bloodline has the blue eyes and flames that she would be destined with the same path as her.
Diana shut the book, not wanting to read further. She stared at the book as if waiting for it to disappear. Soon enough the room's atmosphere fell to the same mood as Diana. The common room fire dimmed down, any and all noise was canceled out, the room seemed to have died.
Diana grabbed the book and stormed out of the common room, not bothering to notice the stares that fell upon her as she left. She headed up to the Astronomy Tower, the only place she could think about going to. When she swung open the door of the tower she threw the book on the ground and burst into tears. The only thoughts she had were of her becoming this so called "Sapphire Spawn" swarming around in her mind.
When she looked up and wiped the tears from her eyes she saw someone at the balcony of the Astronomy Tower. Diana hadn't noticed them before, she walked closer only to see the person gripping onto the railing of the balcony. If it weren't for the floor squeaking as Diana took a step closer, that Slytherin wouldn't have turned around, instead he would have done the only irreversible thing possible.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Malfoy asked as he let go and walked inside. "Were you about to-" Diana didn't get to finihs before he nodded. "I don't want to do it. I have to, I know that. But I just can't" he muttered, Diana knowing exactly what he was talking about.
"You're right. I didn't have a choice. The only way out of this now is to just kill myself. Voldemort can't kill me for not doing as tasked if I'm already dead" he told her.
"Why are you here?" he then quickly changed the subject. "I just found out I'm decident from a mass murderer who had the same powers as me, now knowing I will most likely have the same issue if I don't learn to control my emotions" Diana stated bluntly.
From the look on the blonde's face it was obvious he didn't believe her, so she walked over and grabbed the book and flipped through it and then handed it to him. He read over it and then looked up at her. "We both decend from evil. How wonderful" he said sarcastically.
He then thought about it. 'Bennett... that's why the Dark Lord wanted Diana on his side. Because she descends from Aurelia. He wants that same evil and destruction for what's coming next and if he has Aurelia's decent it would be easier' Malfoy thought as he failed to notice the Bennett girl had left.
