The following days after the incident are average, but it's mainly because you're more focused on healing than anything.

In midday, you made sure to talk to everyone; You have had deep discussions about life with Zenitsu, shared random facts or stories with Tanjiro, and you've made quite a habit of trying to teach Inosuke how to read--but of course, he rejects your teachings by insisting that he 'doesn't need any help'

"HEY!!" You whirl around, swiping at him

"ohhhh!" Zenitsu laughed

"SO WHAT?! You're in for it NOW!" Inosuke growls, swatting at you

"Oh boy..." Tanjiro mumbles

"Be careful Inosuke! You'll lose your job." You taunted, ducking behind Zenitsu

Zenitsu screams, grabbing you by your shoulders and moving you out of the way "DON'T DRAG ME INTO THISSS"

"You guys are annoying" Inosuke grunted "probably wouldn't put up a good fight anyway"

"Oh, wouldn't I? Let's not forget about that one time" you grin, hooking your arm around his "You're pretty lucky my foot was broken"

Inosuke tensed at the mention of a few nights ago; it seems like neither one of you are really over it

He side-eyes you grumpily "You saying I only won because you were limping?"

"AWW!" Zenitsu beamed "Lover's quarrel!"

"I don't even get half of these jokes you guys make about us" Inosuke looks off to the side "is it supposed to be embarrassing?"

"Uh..." You and Zenitsu start to say in unison, but both trail off before you can think of anything
