November... quidditch pitch...

Rosie POV

I got off my broom after a long two hours of quidditch practice.  Being a keeper is harder than I thought.

But I'll manage.

I quickly went to the girls locker rooms to change into my school uniform.

I couldn't even do that without an ache in my hands.

I slipped out of the locker room after putting away my broom and gear.

I wasn't watching where I was going until I bumped into a wall.  I felt like I was falling until someone caught me.  I opened my eyes to see the youngest Malfoy brother with his arm around my waist and the other around my shoulder.

So...

Update,

Not a wall.

He had an amused face while he helped me upright.  "You okay?"

I smiled at him, "yeah, not paying attention I guess." I shrugged.

"Okay, freckles." I growled at the name.

Did I mention an annoying wall?

"You did good today, better than when you started.  I didn't think someone could block like that until you did," his eyes shown an emotion I don't think existed.  A mix between wonder, pride, and happiness.  I could get lost in those eyes.

Snap out of it!

But why?

There's more important things to focus on!

Like what?

School work, quidditch, reading, expectations...

I -

"Thanks blondie." I smile.

He scowls, "I hate that name."

"And I hate 'freckles', we're even." I smirked.

"Be careful, one may think you're a Malfoy with that smirk." He smirked.

Mine dropped.

"I'm not, not ever will be." I defied.

"I'd be careful what you say, freckles.  You never know.  And I think we both know, it's inevitable." If it's possible, his smirk got smirky-er... is that a thing?

"I don't think so," I crossed my arms.

"Yeah?" He said raising an eyebrow.

I nodded.

"We shall see."  He gave one last smiled before sauntering away.

Me?

A 'Malfoy'?

I don't think so.

You never know...

Oh now you're all for a relationship?

Hey I'm saying.  Mum married Dad, even though they were polar opposites.  You and him are opposites.  Opposites attract.

Oh shove it.

Did you do the three essays you have to hand in tomorrow?

Shoot

That's what I thought, to the library.
