End of the year, after exams

Scorpius POV

I am currently sitting in the library of the old castle known as Hogwarts.  I've been here for hours.  Did I think I would be spending my last hours of third year in the library instead of at Hogsmeade or the Quidditch pitch? no.  But here I am because I'm a Malfoy and apparently that means nothing can ever be normal.

"There's nothing useful here." Rose yelled for the thousandth time after speed reading another large, dusty, old book.

We're looking for a way out of Jaxon Smith's deal with my sister and tracing the prophecy and unbreakable bonds and interpreting the prophecy and psychology and sociology and whole bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting.

Damn that Smith... perverted, inconceivable, terrible, nauseating, SOB.

Like my poem?

I call it Smith.

I question why my family always seems to be in some sort of wizarding war drama.  Not just the current generations but the previous ones, all the way back to the beginning, I would just like an explanation as to how we always seem to have this sort of gravitation towards this stuff.

That's basically my explanation for why my sister is getting married to a psychopath and having his child.  By the way... WE'RE ONLY 14.

And this mf wanted to marry her now.  I'M SORRY WHAT.

So it was my other sister first, that was groomed into being a good wife and to be a good mother and now my other sister has an unbreakable bond with the man to save the first sister from that life.  Explain please, why?

What is every person's -- scratch that -- male's infatuation with my sisters?

SOMEONE EXPLAIN BECAUSE IT'S JUST WEIRD AND CREEPY AND PLEASE MAKE IT STOP

"We're screwed, we're totally and completely screwed.  There's no way out of this." Rose said and started tearing up.  I pulled her close and held her as she cried out her frustrations.

" I know, I know...It seems impossible but no one expects you to know the answers or how to perform that kind of magic to break the bond.  You do not have anything to prove, please do not let this tear you apart." I said softly to her.

"I have everything to prove, I'm  two thirds of the golden trio the one with the brains the 'brightest witch of her age' and the red head Weasley that managed to stay alive the whole time.  I feel like I have something to prove because if I do maybe people will get off my back." she hiccupped into my chest,

I paused for a moment, "And what if they don't?" I said without thinking. "What if they keep asking you for more and keep coming back to you for more and more and more to the point that you eventually become overwhelmed again and burn out.  Posie, you can't keep doing this it's not healthy for you.  Take a break and enjoy your last few days as a third year.  Do not let yourself, that flame that you have inside you burn out." I said as motivationally as I could.

She sighed "I guess you're right, lets take a break," she said pulling out of my arms and collecting our things.  We walked out of the library and to the court yards.  We found our family-friend-group-thing, or the ffgt as Freddy likes to call it, under the large tree.

Here folks is the legendary spot where my father was turned into a ferret, yes this is the tree

I plopped on the ground beside Gabe and Frank

"Hey Gabe whatever happened to Anya?" Frank asked.

"Well... we sort of just split." He said calmly.
