Where we left off...

Roxy POV

My father stood there looking at me and Carman.  She smiled at him.

"It's nice to meet you Mr.Weasley."

Dad almost jumped back to reality, "yeah... uh... nice to meet you too, um Carman." He cleared his throat, "can I just speak to my daughter really quickly?"

Carman smiled again and nodded she hugged me quickly and I kissed her cheek before she pulled away, "I'll catch you later." She whispered and I nodded.

I turned back to my dad who had a million emotions running across his face.

"Dad, say something please." I pleaded.

He opened his mouth but nothing came out.  He started sputtering before taking a deep breath, "I should say, to start, I'm not mad, or whatever you think I would be in that head of yours.  It's more of a... shock, I guess.  It's not something I thought was impossible, I think I just never guessed that you are... "

"I'm bi, dad." I say, I feel a bit more relaxed.  This isn't terrible, but it's not the way I wanted to tell them.

He exhaled, "when we're you planning on telling us?"

"Over the summer."

He nodded, "how long?"

"We've been together for a few months, but I have been dabbling in it for about a year."

"Why didn't you say something sooner?"

I paused and took a breath, "I was scared you were going to turn me away, or think I was weird.  I didn't want to be looked at like I was a freak, or a stranger.  I didn't want to be treated any differently." Tears welled up in my eyes with reminiscing in my fears.

He looked at me before sighing, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest.  He rubbed my back soothingly.

"I'd never turn my back on you.  You'll always be my daughter, my only daughter.  I don't care if you like guys or girls, hell even a dementor, you're still my little girl." He kissed my head, "and nothing will make me feel otherwise."  He squeezed me tighter while my tears soaked his shirt.

"Thank you, Dad." I whispered into his chest.

He pulled back. "I love you, Rox." He said softly.

"I love you too, Dad." I kissed his cheek.  We heard footsteps walking toward us and I turned to see Mum.

"Is everything okay?" She asked concerned.  I forgot I'd have to do this twice.  Oh wait, there's also Freddy and the rest of our family.  That's great.

Dad looked down to me and I nodded my head, saying I was okay.

"Mum I have something to tell you."

She nodded and took my hands, "yes?"

"I'm bi, and I have a girlfriend that I haven't told you about for a few months."

Her concerned face softened, "that's what you were upset about?"

I shrugged, "kind of."

She just smiled, "Sweetheart, you can tell us anything.  Never be too afraid to come to us."

I nodded and hugged my mother.  She kissed my head.  Dad hugged both of us kissing our heads, "my girls."

I laughed.  "Thank you."

"No need for a thank you hunny, we love you no matter what.

I smiled.

Everything turned out alright.

Well...

As of this moment.

A few days later...

Today Freddy was let out of the infirmary wing.

Que the chaos.

He was at breakfast and lessons, like nothing had happened.  I told Carman about the encounter with my parents.  She was really happy for me, her family wants to meet me over the summer and I told her I was going to be locked at home.  She understood and didn't question it further.

Now here I stand outside the Boys locker rooms after quidditch practice for my brother so I can talk to him.

I see my brother walk out with Cal and James all goofing around,

"Hey Freddy?" I ask grabbing his attention.

They all turn to me, "yeah?" He responds,

"Can I talk to you?"

"Yeah sure, I'll see you guys at dinner," he says to the guys.  They smile at me and nod to Fred before heading back to the castle.

"What's up twinnie?"

I paused, was I ready for this.  Sure why not?

"I have something to tell you, and you may not like it."

He raised his eyebrow, "okay?"

I started to get nervous,

He grabbed my arms and rubbed his thumbs up and down, "Hey, it's okay, take your time."

I nodded and took a deep breath.  "I'm bi, I've had a girlfriend for a few months.  I've known I was into both guys and girls for about a year."  I said slowly.

"Okay?"  He paused, "what's the problem with that?"

I looked at him confused, "I thought you would think- well I- I thought."

He smiled at me, "Roxy, you shouldn't care what other people think.  If your into both, you're into both." He shrugged.

I smiled, "your the best.  You know that?" I said hugging him.

Man, I've been hugging a lot lately.

"I know I'm pretty great." He said hugging back.

He kissed my forehead.  "You don't have to hide from anyone,"

I nodded and smiled.  We let go.

"Now c'mon, I need food, quidditch takes a lot out of me."

"Dude, I'm starving too, I've been here covering for you, while you were laying in bed all day with visits from your girlfriend."

He shrugged, "I'm not used to it."

I rolled my eyes but laughed.  You gotta love my twin some way of another.

"You're weird." I pushed him playfully,

"No, I'm Freddy Weasley." He retorted.

"Ohh I know all about him."

He quickly grabbed my waist and threw me over his shoulder, starting to run towards the castle.  Both of us laughing the whole way there.

I'm glad that my family accepts me.
