Cal POV
I walked into the dorm room to hear soft music playing in the bedroom. I place my things on the bench and head up to the door, slowly opening it to see my pregnant girlfriend moving around the room tidying up. I smiled as she'd stop every once in a while to hold her stomach and sway softly to the music. I closed the door behind me, stepping fully into the room. She turned to me and stopped, her face heating up in embarrassment.
"Please don't stop on my accord." I held my hands up. Her face became even more red.
I slowly walked over to her and wrapped one arm around her waist and held her hand, starting to sway us to the music still sounding through the room. I kissed her cheek, "Don't be embarrassed, lapine" I grinned.
"Shut up." she mumbled, but grinned at me.
As the record finished I twirled her around and back to me. She smiled up at me and kissed my cheek. I kissed her lips softly, then kneeling down to kiss her baby bump. I rest my head against her stomach for a bit and felt her play with my hair. I smiled, feeling relaxed and content.
Having the girl of my dreams standing right in front of me and our little girl growing inside of her.
I stood up and pulled her to the bed, laying down. She lay down next to me and kissed my neck softly. I kissed her forehead and wrapped my arms around her.
"I love you both so much," I said,
"You do?" she asked meekly.
"I love you, lapine. My goddess, my love, my life. I love you more than you'll probably ever know." I said softly.
"And I love our little girl. Our perfect, so called, mistake." I kissed her head.
"And we love you." She whispered, my heart fluttered at those words.
These girls are the most important things in my life right now, I'd do anything to keep them happy and to see them smile everyday.
My girls. My loves.
Maria POV
I sat in the library, reading a book with a cup of tea during the sunset when my husband walked through the doors.
His shirt was untucked and his face showed he was tired.
"Love, are you okay?" I asked, instantly concerned at his state.
"Yeah, just a long day at work," He said smiling brightly at me. "But it's even better now, being able to see you." He said smoothly.
This man-
"I didn't know what time you'd be back, I haven't made dinner," I said nervously.
"That's perfectly fine," He said walking over and wrapping his arms around my waist. "I would like to take my darling wife out for dinner anyway," he said,
"Really?" I asked.
"Of course, when was the last time we went out? Just the two of us?" He asked.
I kissed his cheek "Way too long." I said, nodding.
"And that's why now is the perfect time to get ready." He said, kissing me swiftly before picking me up bridal style and carrying me to our room.
He pushed the door open and set me on the floor before disappearing into the closet. He came out with a new shirt and pants, and a dress in hand.
"Maybe this, for tonight." He suggested,
The gown was gorgeous, one I used to wear all the time. It was a simple red dress little to no details on it v-neckline and pencil skirt, long sleeve. I loved it.
