Ruby smiled in the mirror as she grabbed her phone off the charger and raced to her front door to see Pyrrha standing there. She had her hand up in a fist ready to knock.

"Pyrrha." Ruby blushed.

"Hey." She waved giving a smile with her eyes closed, her pale skin turning a light shade of pink.

"S-sorry I didn't know you were going to pick me up." Ruby mumbled.

"I should of texted you shouldn't I?" Pyrrha bit her lip looking away.

"N-no! It's fine!" Ruby waved her hands around. "Really. It's.. fine."

"Let's go shall we?" Pyrrha warmly smiled.

Ruby nodded and followed Pyrrha to her car. She buckled her seatbelt and she started the car and pulled out of Ruby's drive way.

They both listened to a song that they both ended up joining in with each other at a time while laughing after.

Pyrrha brought the car to a stop as she parked. Both of them got out and started walking to the restaurant as they had to park pretty far away.

"And then I was like, 'No that's a pineapple'." Ruby started laughing.

Pyrrha joined in chuckling, the joke didn't make much sense to her but it was funny to Ruby so she joined in.

"Sounds like a fun day that day." Pyrrha grinned.

Ruby nodded her head with a smile. "Yeah I think back to then when I need a good laugh."

"Ruby?" A squeaky voice said behind them . Ruby turned at the voice seeing a blonde blue eyed man behind her. He had a stubble of a beard and was quite tall and scrawny.

"Uhh..." Ruby let out as she stared at the man. He looks familiar but she doesn't remember where from.

"I'm Jaune, the guy you chatted with on the dating app." He said pointing to himself with a hopeful smile.

At the mention of his name Ruby's head connected the dots and a wide smile appeared on her face. "Oh yeah! I didn't think I would actually run into you this soon!" Ruby chipped.

Pyrrha stood there staring at the two unsure of what to say. "Oh, this is Pyrrha, she's one of my friends." Ruby gestured to her.

She waved to him. "Hello."

"Woah." He said staring up at her in awe. "Where you two headin'?"

"Right now to lunch then the movies." Ruby replied.

"Do you.. mind if I join or is that to much to ask and all?" Jaune said with an unsure expression.

"Uh.. that's up to Pyrrha." Ruby looked up to her.

She hesitated. "Yeah sure." She gritted her teeth a bit.

Jaune smiled. "Thanks!"

They all headed to the restaurant, mainly Ruby and Jaune talking as Pyrrha stood there almost forgotten.

"Uh I have reservations under Nikos." Pyrrha told the waitress standing up front.

"Oh, table for two right?" They replied.

"Actually three, I'm sorry but we have an unexpected guest." Pyrrha politely said.

"No problem. We actually need you to wait a few minutes because of the unexpected change." They said looking at their tablet.

"That's fine." Pyrrha smiled and took a seat next to Ruby who was chatting with Jaune.

"It'll take a few minutes till we're seated." Pyrrha added.

"Okay." Ruby grinned at Pyrrha.

Pyrrha sighed as she leaned against the cushioned long seat. This wasn't going at planned at all, she wanted to spend a day with Ruby alone for once. She tilted her head to the side to look at Ruby and grinned a little as she watched her frantically moving her arms while talking. She almost wanted to laugh at how cute it was.

"You're table is ready." They said. Pyrrha snapped out of her gaze and they all followed the person and sat at their table. Ruby sat across Pyrrha and Jaune sat next to Ruby.

"This a nice place." Jaune spoke looking around.

"Yeah it is." Ruby looked around too.

"I found it while I was driving around one day." Pyrrha said grinning.

"It's so expensive though.. twenty dollars for a burger!?" Ruby gasped.

"It's fine." Pyrrha rubbed the back of her neck. "It's my treat and I can pay for all three of us."

The dinner went on as they ordered their drinks and food and chatted amongst themselves. Pyrrha was warming up to Jaune and was relieved that Ruby in fact turned him down from his advantages.

They left the restaurant standing outside it still chatting till Ruby checked the time. "Oh crap, Pyrrha the movie is about to start." Ruby hastily said.

"Oh, uh- sorry Jaune we must go." Pyrrha muttered.

"It's fine guys, have fun you two." He waved.

Ruby bit the inside of her cheek as they walked away. "I feel bad for having to leave him so soon." Ruby admitted.

"He'll be fine." Pyrrha assured.

"You're right! Let's go watch the heck outta that movie!" Ruby chipped earning a laugh from Pyrrha.
