Blake rested between Yang's legs on the couch, her hands holding her cup of tea as she took a sip from it every few seconds. Yangs arms were wrapped around her waist with a smile. Blake's shoulder-length hair tickled Yangs neck as she moved it while she replied to Ruby.
Yang didn't really pay attention as much as she stared at Blakes face with such admiration and love she herself could feel it protruding out of her eyes, spilling her feelings out just from the confines of her eyes.
How Blake's mouth moved, how her cat ears twitched a few times, the way her amber eyes moved as she looked at Ruby to her tea, Yang loved ever second of it.
"Yang did you hear me?" Blake asked turning her head a little to see Yang from the corner of her eye.
"Uh, yeah." Yang smiled looking at Ruby hopefully for her to explain to her or help her out.
Ruby gave a small smile as she got happy at Yang getting caught from being distracted. She had no intention to help her out so she shrugged her shoulders and looked at Blake.
"So what's your opinion on it?" Blake asked caressing her fingers on Yang's cheek to her jaw line letting it fall back to her tea cup handle.
"Oh, uh, I think.." Yang couldn't even recall what they were even talking about originally, her ego on the other hand told her she could convince them both she payed attention. "You should do it because of money."
"Is that all you think of her as? A bank?" Ruby asked.
Yang internally congratulated herself. "I'm just kidding, but it's up to you at the end of the day."
"For once I agree with Yang." Blake lifted up her tea cup up to her lips tilting it for the liquid to pour in between her lips.
"Hey!" Yang slightly yelled making Blake's cat ears try to twitch away from it. "Sorry." Yang replied after seeing the movement of Blake's ears.
"It's fine, I'm practicing deaf in a way because of you." Blake smiled a little.
Yang rolled her eyes. "Very funny."
"But she's THEE Weiss Schnee you know how big that is!?" Ruby said.
Yang chuckled. "And beautiful so you could try to be friends with her, then date her."
"She does do a lot for the White Fang now." Blake added.
"I- you just want me to have a girlfriend don't you?" Ruby glared.
"Yes." Yang said smiling. "But on a serious note treat her like a normal being like you've been doing, with everything going on in Atlas she might need a distraction."
"Well considering she's on the news about it I don't doubt she won't be distracted for very long." Blake gestures towards the TV before putting her tea on the coffee table.
Ruby and Yang looked at the television seeing the news anchor talking along with a picture of Weiss on the top right.
"I feel bad for her now." Ruby said frowning as she read the lower bar with moving text on it announcing that Weiss Schnee was using the dating app "Grimm".
"It's a Schnee they can handle anything." Yang waved off.
"Do you not like Schnee's?" Ruby asked.
"Eh, I'm iffy on them since everything they did with Faunus's obviously. Just because she's fixing everything over there doesn't mean she's good and is most likely doing it for publicity." Yang scoffed.
"Yeah.. it's still to soon to assume she's better then her father." Blake looked down.
"I guess you have a point but we should give her a chance." Ruby said.
"We will now that you can spy on her for us." Yang grinned.
"Yangg." Ruby whined.
"Ooo! Oo! What if she's just talking to you get details on the White Fang to bring it down and frame it as a terrorist group again!" Yang exclaimed.
"I'm going to get more tea." Blake calmly said getting out of Yang's arm to avoid the upcoming dispute.
"She's putting her money into it and supplies along with the Atlas military though." Ruby said.
"What if this is all just a mask for the true plan. It's well known Blake is now the leader of the White Fang and that I'm her partner and that you're my sister so.. And you're single so that's the closest she'll get into all this." Yang leaned forward smiling.
"Don't you think she would just send secret agents in it or attack it already?" Ruby said.
"That's what she wants you to think!" Yang said.
"Great now I'm going to question if you're right or not even though it literally isn't even logical!" Ruby said crossing her arms.
"Your welcome." Yang said leaning back in her spot as Blake reappeared and sat between Yang's legs again.
"It is an interesting thought though." Blake added taking a sip of her tea.
"An outrageous thought." Ruby scoffed. "I'll be wary of her for you're own amusement though." Ruby smiled.
"We're just kidding Rubes, if you trust her we do too." Yang said giving her a closed lip smile.
"I know, I know." Ruby sighed. "I got to go though.." Ruby got up from her chair that was to the side of them. "Call me if you need help this week Blake." Ruby said heading to the door.
"Will do." She gave a two finger salute as a joke. "See ya Ruby."
Ruby smiled as her response before leaving the house and closing the door behind her. She let out a deep breath that she didn't know she was holding as she headed to her car.
