An hour after the attack...

Weiss sipped her cup of wine and sighed drastically. She was so exhausted, more then usual. She wasn't one on drinking but she's been drinking ever since the news about the attack on the White Fang happened. She remembers it so clearly;

She was sitting on her couch watching the news as per usual so she wouldn't miss anything when suddenly the news changed immediately, hastily as a man ran up to the news anchor and handed her a paper. She sat stunned as she read it and her once calm and welcoming features were now full of sorrow.

Weiss raised her eyebrows in interest at the sudden change.

"Breaking News," she started in her anchor voice, " a building containing Faunus's and the leader's of the White Fang have just been attack. Reports have said they heard a loud boom and when they went to check it out a huge cluster of dust surrounded a building. The building that specifically belonged to the White Fang."

She literally felt like her heart was gone from her body as the heavy weight just vanished downwards. The screen showed the roof of the building then showed a reporter who was standing in front of it, people rushing everywhere.

Weiss's phone rang and she picked it up. "Ms. Schnee we need to you in the office, it's urgent."

"I'll be there in ten minutes." Weiss said before hanging up.

After that everything went down hill so fast. Weiss for once didn't even know what to do. She felt so stressed and she knew everything depended on her. Phone calls happened simultaneously to the point she couldn't even think for one second.

She knew she had to make a public announcement eventually but she couldn't bring herself up to it, no matter how hard she mentally prepared she didn't even want to leave to her office so she didn't have to.

And now here she is staring at her cup full of wine. She stared off rubbing her eyes and even rested her head on the desk. By no means was she actually tired or drunk, no she was far from it. Her brain was completely fried and blank.

She couldn't understand why out of everything that happened in her life this specifically was so hard on her. Maybe people she strives for it, took part of it even and made friends with the people in the building.

"Ms. Schnee?" A voice ran out from the other side of her door.

Weiss jolted up and put the wine and cup away, she fixed her hair the best she could and checked herself out. "Come in!"

The door opened and Weiss no longer seemed like the mess she was a few minutes ago. "The press is wondering if you have anything to say." He stood by the door, not daring to go further.

Weiss shook her head. "I'm still working everything out so no. If they cause any trouble you have my full permission to have them evicted from the premises." Weiss said.

The man nodded before closing the door. Weiss relaxed and sighed. Everything was going down hail so fast.

She took out the wine and took a sip from the bottle and settled it down after swallowing a copious amount.
