Weiss sat at her desk in the house, back straight and stared at the door awaiting for her father to slam the door open and march right in in anger. Maybe even hit her for talking back but there was one thing she knew her father would forget, Weiss owned the business. She decided on anything that went in or out, the decision, the views, where the money goes, the staff, and so much more.

She was as invincible as her father yet so much more better and she knew that, and she wasn't scared of showing that off. So when her father entered calmly it threw her by surprise. No yelling, his face wasn't wrinkled from his eyebrows together and he didn't slam the door open. He knocked before entering.

"Weiss." He said calmly and took a seat in front of her. "I see that you never changed anything." He said looking around.

"Jacques." The last thing she would ever do is even make it seem like she sees him as her father. She was seething like her sister, even though she was hiding it more, when her father literally got away with it because of his connections. "Why are you here?"

"I can't see my daughter?" Jacques mused.

Right there, right now, Weiss made the decision she hated mustaches, she always had but when the mustache twitched it annoyed her.

"No. Now... Why are you here?" Weiss crossed her arms.

"Ah, intriguing question." He stood up and walked to the table that held whiskey. He took the cap off and poured some in a glass that had to many cuts. "Want one?"

"No."

He lifted the glass to his lips before lifting it back away. "Actually." He turned to her. "Who is this... Ruby?"

"None of your business." Weiss clenched her teeth.

"Really?" He sat back in the chair, whisky in hand and twirled it around. "You've never hanged around anyone out of business nor have you let someone stay even a night." He glanced up staring at Weiss.

Weiss took a deep breath, she didn't want him to get to her. "I've changed after the stunt you pulled."

"Really?" Jacques said curiously. "Hm.. so... if I were to send someone after her you wouldn't mind would you?"

"You act as if you have power." Weiss scoffed. "I think you planned the bombing at this point. You get people to turned their backs off me, even Faunus's and the blame goes to me. Not you."

"Actually, now I wish I had but to be honest for once I didn't." He crossed his legs taking a sip of whiskey. "Smart plan really, but I thought you did it, I came to congratulate you actually for doing so but I guess you hadn't." He sighed.

"Why would you even think that? After everything I did to build it." Weiss scoffed.

"Change of heart." He simply replied with a knowing grin.

Weiss' phone dinged and she glanced at her phone earning a small smile on her face.

"Is that her?" He asked.

"No." Weiss gave him a hard glare, her smile falling.

"Okay." He said setting the empty glass on her wooden desk, looking in her eyes as she did so.

"You look so much of Willow almost." He sighed.

"Don't you dare talk about her with how you left her."

"Forgive me, isn't she better though? To be honest I never thought she'd stop drinking."

"I'm getting real tired of this." Weiss said lifting herself up to stand.

"I want to meet this Ruby Rose you're so... passionate about." He said not even showing signs he'll move.

"I'm not passionate about her." Weiss sighed.

"Yet you defend her, hide her from me and Whitley." He mused.

"That's not what I'm doing. I know you'll hate someone like her so don't you think I would purposely bring her around simply to spite you? We're both busy with our lives and I'm busy with work." Weiss gestured to her desk.

"Well," He pat his knees. "Whitley and me will be attending that party you're throwing next month." He got up.

"What party?" Weiss raised her eyebrow.

"Oh, I thought you knew." He smiled. "You should invite Ruby. We would love to meet her."

He left the room with Weiss in her thoughts. She didn't even understand how she knew her name at most. Maybe it was because she hadn't been focused on the gossip and people who stalk her to get details. She didn't have time to focus on such things but why would her dad want to to see Ruby, that Weiss couldn't answer.

She didn't want Jacques to hurt Ruby as well but knowing him he probably told everyone she was bringing her. She sat in her chair in frustration.

Gosh she hated her dad.
