Amelia and Pansy were sitting and watching Draco and Blaise play. None of the slytherin members minded Amelia's presence because of few reasons : one, she was nothing like those gryffindors, two, she was Draco's cousin and they didnt want to get on Draco's bad side.

"Do you think quididitch is my thing" Amelia asked Pansy while watching the match.

"I think you'd be wonderful in quidditch, but the problem is you are in the wrong house, and we slytherins wouldnt want to hurt you or go against you." Pansy replied truthfully.

"Yeah you are right even I dont want to go against slytherins, why in bloody hell would that bickering hat put me in that house, my whole family was in slytherin." Amelia said desparately.

"But your father was a gryffindor" Pansy blurted out and instantly regretted it by receiving the coldest glare from Amelia.

"Sorry really sorry, it just slipped out I swea-" pansy was cut off by Amelia.

"Its ok, for the first and last time I forgive you, coz you're my friend" said Amelia not meeting her eyes and frowning. Pansy squealed and gave Amelia a bone crushing hug.

Then Amelia saw something that ignited sparks in her eyes. It was the same guy who bumped into her this morning, he was carrying a broom and maybe going into the changing room, maybe now it was their turn to practise. While letting Pansy go Amelia quickly made an excuse and rushed after that boy who seemed alone. She was just behind him and called out.

"Hey you hufflepuff!" The boy turned around with an eyebrow raised, trying to see where did the voice came from. Amelia waved her hand, the boy spotted her and jogged towards her.

"Hey, whats up" He said catching up his breath while offering a slight smile. At this moment Amelia seemed to be again hypnotized by his mesmerizing eyes. But this time she didnt let herself fall into it.

"I– um– I wanted to– you know– maybe —" Amelia stammered and went red when the boy chuckled.

"Relax, take your time, theres no rush" He assured, smiling charmingly. Amelia quickly dig her hand in her pocket and took out the yellow handkerchief.

   "Is this yours?" Amelia asked.
Soon the boy's smile faded, he made an expression like he'd been driven under a truck. Amelia felt everything go awkward.

"Its okay, if its not yours, sorry to bother you" Amelia said quickly and turned around, she was just about to leave and was interrupted by the boy's voice.

"Yes its mine" He said shortly without any expression.

"Okay here you go" Amelia said handing him the handkerchief.
He took it and threw it on the ground and took out his wand and set it on fire. Amelia had her mouth open in disbelief. She just looked at the boy bewildered.

"Why did you burn it, it was so beautiful!" Amelia said shocked.

"Maybe just the memories attached to it are not beautiful." The boy simply shrugged not metting her eyes.

   "What?" Amelia's frown grew more.

"You know what, nevermind i'll just leave" Amelia said quickly after not receiving a reply from the boy.

"Wait I am sorry, it was just dont want talk about it" he said

"That alright, I understand" Amelia said sincerely.

"By the way are you here for tryouts?" The boy quickly changed the topic.

"Nope just came here to support my friends" Amelia said shrugging.

Their convo was interrupted by Draco's voice. Amelia shouted a quick 'coming' and turned to the boy to bid goodbye and before leaving she was interrupted again.

"Wait I didnt catch your name again" said the boy and Amelia could see he was sincere and truthful just by looking in his eyes.

"Because i didnt throw it" And with it she ran away leaving the boy chuckling. 'she is something else' the boy thought to himself.

~~TIME SKIPS TO EVENING~~

Amelia was sitting near the black lack, it was almost dusk. She enjoyed watching sunset. At that moment a lot of things were going on in her mind, but the thought her father who escaped from azkaban was on the top of all. It was something which seemed like a life threat to Amelia. She never craved for a father's love because she had two already, her uncle and godfather but to be with her real father was something else.

Only if that tragic incident didnt happen twelve years ago, it would all have been normal. She would be living with her real family, her mother would have been alive, her father would not be seen as a murderer, and she would not be termed as a murderer's daughter.

But she knew, everything we wish for isnt fulfilled.

After spending some moments with herself, she was interrupted by a noise behind. She quickly took out her wand as taught by her uncle and turned around and saw a black dog standing and wagging his tail. Amelia chuckled and moved towards it.

"What are you doing here?" she asked smiling at the black dog. She crouched herself at the level of the dog and began playing with it. She always wished to have a dog but was not permitted by her uncle.

"What a cute little boy such as you is doing on the ground of hogwarts?" She asked while patting its head. The dog jumped on her and started licking her face. she was giggling throughout.

"Okay okay enough" she chuckled sitting up.

"I think you need a name, ummm what should i name you?" She began thinking.

"Yes! Snuffles! How's it!?" Amelia exclaimed. The dog started wagging his tail again in happiness and jumping around.

"Okay okay Mr. Snuffles calm down." Amelia chuckled to herself. She quickly took out a sandwich from her bag and gave it to the dog, he ate it in one bite.

"I know you must be hungry, but sorry I dont have more, I'll bring you more food tomorrow" She said sympathitically while patting its head.
The dog just enjoyed her patting and was enjoying the moment with her.

"Okay by the way I am Amelia black, nice to meet you Mr. Snuffles" she said loving to him. The dog's eyes just grew wide and he gave a bark of amusement.

"Okay now its getting late, I must get going, or I might end up in trouble. See you tomorrow snuffles." She gave him a quick peck on head and went inside the castle.
