Loud gasps erupted from all aroun. As Harry said Voldermort was back and Cedric Diggory was dead. Harry crying loudly clutching to Cedric's body. All the professors rushed to pull him away but he didnt. The hogwarts band continued playing the songs until Minerva shut them off.
"Cedric Diggory is dead" Someone whisper exclaimed Amelia who just got up running happily towards her boyfriend as he came back was stopped in mid tracks when she heard what Harry just said. Her eyes dropped on the ground where he layed.
Lifeles.
Her breathing stopped and mouth parted. The whole world seemed to stop around her. She couldnt believe what she was seeing. Her eyes blankly staring at the lifeless body of Cedric.
"Let me through! Thats my son! Thats my boy!" Amos Diggory cried falling beside his son's lifeless body.
The place was dead silent and only the cried of Amos Diggory echoed. Crowd pushed past Amelia who was still in trance. She stood there as if waiting for him to finish his prank and stand up laughing loudly.

His words rang in her ears. Her mind drifting to how he promised just not more than an hour ago that he would be back and listen to whatever she had for him to say.
"Amelia– Diggory's dead!" Draco exclaimed shaking her bringing her out of her trance.
"No–" She shook her head and ran forward kneeling down beside him.
"Cedric – wake up" She said softly staring at him picking up his cold hand, which fell back on the ground out of her grip.
A shuddered breath left her throat staring at the blank emotionless eyes of him. His face pale white, he was not moving at all, his chest was not rising and falling. She looked up as Amos cried loudly watchig his son. Her throat totally dried. He was dead.
She remembered when he said, he wanted to make his father proud and on the next day his father had hosted a party for the celebration of his victory. His father was already proud. But right now he was broke. His son was laying lifeless in front of his eyes.
She shook him more and more, tears pooling in her eyes seeing he was not responding at all. She tried to yell but nothing except a cry came out.
